    The Bezel 8929OB is very tight, but I think that might be my example. Sometimes it works well, most of the time is does not.

      @MrGriff305 I sold the Swiss movement one a while back so I don’t have it on hand. From what I remember, they were essentially the same but a difference in thickness like you speak of does not matter to me. Sorry, I wish I could provide more clarification. I know that they Sellita is thinner than the NH35 , like the movement itself.

    Dust and grime gets under bezels, rinse the watch under warm water while you turn the bezel, it may loosen up. A little liquid silicone oil on the bezel works wonders.

    The bezel on my Invicta was very tight when new. I think it is just like a car engine. It has to have some break-in time. I got in the habit of spinning the bezel at least once a day. After a couple months of periodically spinning (playing) with it, I think the bezel movement is just about perfect for me.

    I own the 9937 that I purchased in 2003 . My 9937 has a sapphire crystal. Mine also has screwed lug holes . My 9937 is one of the more accurate watches I’ve ever owned. It’s definitely way superior to the average Invicta pro divers .

    If I want a cool Watch in this style with a great Lume....Banger Lume, at what Watch(es) would I look?
    Orients? Seikos?

    I've owned the 9937 and I'm on my second 8926OB. My first 8926OB had the old Miyota 8215 (non-hacking) movement and weak cyclops. I eventually gave that to my son. It's still running after 10 years. I picked up a new 9937 2 years ago and the Sellita movement lasted a whopping 3 months before binding in the movement caused teeth to break off a gear and eventually the movement just died. Casual research (Google) showed this happens occasionally with the Sellita. I was bummed and put it in the broken watch box for parts. I know the Invicta homages get a lot of hate. I have many fine high-end watches but I still have a soft spot for the first mechanical watch that got me in to collecting in the first place. I missed my 8926. So on Black Friday I picked up a new 8926OB with the NH35a for $70 on Amazon ($10 cheaper than my 2009). The first thing I noticed compared to my 2009 model was the quality has improved immensely. Aside from the better movement, the fit-finish was excellent. The crystal sat higher and was of better quality, the cyclops had the correct 2.5x mag, the bezel felt very good and the watch was just more "substantial" feeling. One unexpected surprise. The bracelet from the 9937 will now fit on these newer 8926 cases. The pin holes lined up perfectly. The old 8926 cases couldn't use the 9937 bracelet because the pin holes were too far inboard.

      Perhaps the 9937 will improve during the production run also just like the 8926 has done for you...

      @scundoalex 4 года назад

      @@Scripticus Actually since I posted that, I have done a lot of mods to the watch. It's a great platform for that but the parts aren't as plentiful like they are for the Seiko SKX. Still, very happy with the way it came out. Changed the dial, hands, added a sapphire crystal and removed the badging from the side of the case. It looks very much like a MilSub now. Very gratifying project.

    As for the bezel sticking, since it is older, it could just be dirty! A squirt of WD-40 and then cleaning it off, then turning the bezel and it will function much easier! My jeweler said you could also use a spray that is for electronics...a silicon spray...can also be used...since it won't accumulate dust like WD- - 40 can!

    Very interesting. I've had a Titanium Pro Diver for a little over a year, the strap whilst similar in construction to the cheaper of the two featured in your video, functions and I've stuck with it. Mine is a bit bigger at 45mm. I've been really impressed with the movement, which stays spot on for 96 hours+ 21°C (face up, not worn) I haven't checked past this. On the wrist it loses around 6 seconds per 24 hours. This without regulation! I've just ordered a Sellita movement (exactly as shown) Pro Diver. I paid £230 including import fees which probably isn't much different to what you paid. At the end of 2020 it's a very good price for a fairly decent looking watch with a decent Swiss movement, I've looked at a few different models from various manufacturers but they just don't do it for me. I think the Submariner is such a classic design you can't go wrong, and this homage certainly looks decent. Thanks for your video

    I just bought the 8928OB for $45 on Amazon. It is on sale, so get one while you can! 😁 I'm assuming your bezel is unique, as I've seen others review this same model and had no problems with their bezel. Might need oil? Not sure but I'm a watch newb, so i don't know anything. 🤣 I'm starting off with cheaper priced watches, and thus I got this one for $45 recently. It should arrive tomorrow! I expect it to not be topnotch quality compared to more expensive watches. I am simply surprised that it has a Seiko movement for such low price. 😁

    I don't really understand why people collect and compare watches . I've got a 30 year old Timex and recently bought an Invicta pro diver both quartz . I also don't understand why someone would buy a Rolex. a watch is a tool that keeps time . it's not like automatic movements stay accurate
