@@terryevason3210 They didn’t change the law - they introduced rail seating which they call ‘safe standing’ but it’s only one fan for one rail seat. The only way to increase capacity at the new stadium from 53,000 to 62,000 is the government changing the law on safe standing to allow 3 fans per 2 rail seats. Highly unlikely the government will change the law

It requires a change in the law to allow more fans standing in the south stand lower tier and north stand and north east corner. This government have so much to deal with, changing this law won’t be on their list
