The thing about Kyles amps are that you can get ANY tone you want. He's an amp genius like no other!

@@OkayyyIGetIt I can't speak on the Orion, but I have a KSR Orthos 2 and it has a completely fine and independent clean channel. Covers all bases.
This is one of the best amps I’ve heard on your channel. I bought a custom Vesta from them and Kyle was awesome to work with. He contacted me personally when I had even a very minor issue, which turned out to be user error and not an issue at all. Great company!

Also the NFB knob all the way down is the loosest setting
Yeah not focusing on the NFB control was a let down in this video. NFB is a powerful tone-shaping tool and changes the feel/timbre of an amp a lot. Wish he had played a bit at various settings.
Kyle is the man. He makes awesome amps and pedals. The jumper change he logo’s light color. I have a Orthos II 100W and I purchase last month a PA50+Ceres bundle and that’s a killer rig

The gold hardware on the red guitars is just so damn good! I would choose neither alone but together is another story.

That thing sounds vicious! Like a blend between a 5150 and Dual Rec.
That's pretty much what all of the KSR amps are. Heavily based on the SLO/5150/Rectifier family of circuits. I had a Gemini and Ares for a while and they're dope.
So somewhere between a modded SLO and another modded SLO. Got it.

It's honestly one of the best distortion sounds one can hear anywhere.
I guess now it's time for manufacturers of (moderately priced) digital modelers to catch up with it.

This is actually an interesting amp. Sounds nice in this demo, has a lot of features and a fair price.
I'd like to try one but they seem relatively rare in central EU.
I enjoy listening to you playing everytime, even if you were playing a pita with choco. But this one should be available in the '80's imo 🙂

KSR amps generally get way too little attention. Played a couple of their amps and they sounded fantastic. Wish they were more readily available in Europe.
YEP! Have the CERES, PA50 and EROS, and HOPE the amp available in france or germany in current shops

They are available in Europe. I ordered my Orhos II 100W from Guitar Candy Shop in Belgium. 3 months wait but that’s normal for a custom shop amp

i don`t like these newer kinds of small box metal chassis design at all but this one looks sick imo 11👀 but still prefere the EVH 50w stealth when it comes to price to performance ratio, this little bastard is hard to beat imo. cheers 🎸🎸

Goddamn! That sounds good. Looks nice too. I have three Joyo banTamPs that I have mounted right on the pedal boards. I love 'em. Ya gotta crank them a bit because as is common with tube amps they sound fizzy at low volume.
I might have to look into this.

I always like and appreciate „testing shit“. Isn‘t it how everything started.
Sounds killer. While I wouldn’t worry about this as much with a KSR amp, I do have a little bit of concern about the servicability and reliability. Generally when you cram that many channels and switches into that small a package, they’re a service nightmare for techs which means more money you have to spend to get it troubleshot/serviced just due to time involved. Mesa mark series being among the worst for that. But again with it being KSR I expect it is built a lot better than a mesa. Cool amp.

Actually, 60w. It packs two 6L6GC and each one generates 30w of power.

Would love to see this compared to a Fortin Sigil.
The sound with OD engaged is just amazing. Good that it has internal load, bad that it doesn't have MIDI controls. IMO Revv G20 is still king of the hill for broke ass guys like me who always need to carry their shit in their hands. This KSR is for home/studio purposes or some bigger touring guys wishing to wipe off a few kilos from their stuff but take real amps with them.
At first it was ehhhh, Then the overdrive pedal and WOW.... That amp shines with a pedal pushing it..
