Thanks Jared i agree with that , even if its overcooked its never wasted , i have flopped it previously on the braai and all i did is changed it from a tuna steak to Tuna mayo sandwich... also turned out great way better than tinned tuna you buy in shops which come from mostly Skipjack and longfin tuna
Bit over cooked to my taste 🙃but great video bud. Prawns looked deliciousio. Also a great understanding on the boat. Proud to be SA. If you guys can do more videos regarding the inland of SA, Gauteng etc.
First time I see a sandwich press being used to fry fish. I agree with the others (for my taste) to use high heat and quick which will also give you some colour on the outside and leave it properly pink to red on the inside....but if you enjoy it that way then it is good.
Nice video and beautiful fish but you destroyed it with the cooking. A sandwich press doesn't get nearly hot enough to sear and by doing so you've overcooked that fish as well. Rather use a pan next time.
Yellowfin tuna are a fast growing pelagic species which are on the Sassi green list , we were also fishing on a commercial vessel which provide some of the sushi and tuna steaks you get in the shops and restaurants.😀 nothing gets wasted and every fish is wild caught and GMO free
Lekker!!!!!! That Tuna is 💯 well done 👍
Tuna well done is just as good
