"Who's Sorry Now?" is a popular song with music written by Ted Snyder and lyrics by Bert Kalmar and Harry Ruby. It was published in 1923.[1]
Who's Sorry Now? was featured in the Marx Brothers film A Night in Casablanca (1946), directed by Archie Mayo and released by United Artists.
The song has been recorded by a number of artists. One of those was an August 20, 1951 recording by Jerry Gray and his orchestra (Decca Records catalog number 27868[2]) .
The song was recorded in 1958 by Connie Francis, and since then the song has become generally associated with her due to the widespread popularity of her version. It reached #4 on the Billboard charts in the U.S. and earned a gold record for sales of one million copies, and spent six weeks at #1 in the UK.
Marie Osmond did a version of the song in 1975. It reached #21 on the US Billboard charts and was the title track to her third studio album.
Leland Palmer, Ann Reinking and Erzsebet Foldi perform the song in the film All That Jazz (1979).
