I got it a couple months ago. Basically got sick of only being able to practice like once a week for a couple hours, plus we got a dog that's afraid of everything. Got a phat hookup on this but it still hurt my wallet quite a bit. With tours coming back though I should be able to recoop it hopefully before I completely run out of money lol
@@MikeCaputo hell yeah man, it is definitely a solid investment! I still got my Roland Td20s KIT although I rarely use it these days, but it was a real life saver back in the day. Good luck son

That's a good idea. I haven't really been learning anything outside of what I need to learn for tours lately. But once I'm able to kinda slow down and learn whatever I want I'll probably do another Soreption song

Sick! Are you using the module sounds on the td27, or your own samples? I picked up a td50 and wasn't too impressed with it out of the box, took a lot of tweaking.
Yes and no. The kick is Dan Presland's kick sample, and the snare is a stock snare from the module layered with a one shot snare sample that someone sent me as a sub instrument. The toms and cymbals are module sounds
great stuff! what are your settings on the TD27? would love to know your kick trigger settings and kit settings are, i own the TD27 and i absolutely love it.

That's all inputs with no splitting. I'm using them all right now except for one extra USB pad input. So if I wanted to add anything else I'd have to start using splitters because I'm NOT getting another USB snare or USB ride lol

How do you tune your snare to get the most rebound out of it? Especially for push-pull. My snare 'absorbs' the rebound somehow...

If you're talking on an acoustic snare, I just tune it to where I like how it sounds, so typically pretty high
