I’m already a Christian Mom who has chosen to homeschool for many reasons, yet I really enjoyed how you presented your discussion here. Very well stated and so much truth!

Amen! Its so worth the sacrifice. We made it work for 10 years on a teacher salary. God provides! My husband just recently left teaching to start a new adventure.

It's definitely doable and yes, God provides!! Thanks for sharing! I know many people want to homeschool, but it can be intimidating to let go of the extra income. So it helps when they hear from people like you who stepped out in faith and to see how God has taken care of you.

Great video. I just want to say: pray for other countries where homeschooling in NOT an option. This year will be my first year homeschooling because now it's a bit accepted and also there is a Homeschooling association that helps protect and know our rights. I'm very nervous because english is not our primary language but most homeschooling curriculum are english, i have no idea right how or what to do now but i'm praying for wisdom to show me because i have to start in August. For example homeschooling material in Dutch is very expensive and i have not found a christian based one. I understand that you can make your own curriculum, but i have no idea where and how to start and what i have to teach each grade or what each grade is supposed to know. The government still does a bit difficult with families that homeschool so many families are afraid to start with it because there are many closed doors where i live. not so much opportunities and you are treated like an alien.

Thank you for sharing with me (and others) how we can pray for homeschoolers in other countries where it is more difficult to teach your children. I can only imagine how challenging it must be to live by faith in a place where it is so unpopular. Keep your eyes on the Lord. He is faithful. Even here in the US where it has recently become more accepted, there were families who (30+ years ago) started out alone trusting God by faith. They are the pioneers who paved the way for the rest of us and we are so thankful for them.
"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:19

This is such valuable information! I love how you describe thinking of homeschooling as a generational decision and no doubt one that will yield a Godly harvest. I'm so excited to begin our new homeschooling journey! I'm equipped with tons of your book recommendations from one of your prior videos (thank you for that list!). My kids can't help themselves...it feels like Christmas and they are already browsing and reading the books. 💜

    Book recommendation
    Conflicted by John Stamper
The author is a former public school teacher and he tells in this book what yall they are sneaking in to the public schools and teaching our youth without the parents even knowing!

Thanks for sharing that! That's not one I have read. I'll definitely put it on my list!
I believe it. I remember things that happened when I was teaching in public schools that the parent's were clueless about...and that was several years ago. I can only imagine how it is now. Very sad.

It’s often in my mind if I’m doing the right thing homeschooling. I struggle with it . But a part of my soul was ripped out when I sent my daughter to kindergarten and they had her doing yoga and than confessed to it after I expressed our faith . Than when they sat her out of it they put her back in and gaslit her to make her believe it wasn’t yoga but stretches . I witnessed them lie to my daughter and me. That is when I knew they had an agenda . I removed her from public school . I was not going to allow them to lie to us and crazy make us as if she didn’t know it was against God . What’s a work of God is she told me she was doing it and I had briefly taught her yoga was not okay I was led tot all to her about it few days later she came home and said she was doing yoga . I basically felt an attack on her she was so drained and I was trying to figure out why. As believers we know what we do and expose ourselves to can open the door to the enemy . I have just be called paranoid by family and that she will not do good in home school . There is so many reasons to not trust public schools. All I know is she was changing getting angry and very tired and even getting sick and I couldn’t cope with the situation anymore watching her suffer .

I'm so sorry for your bad experience. It's an experience a lot of parents are having in public schools. Good for you to do what is best for your daughter despite what others say!

I haven't used all of these, but I have friends who have and like them.
      Hillsdale College Courses
      Veritas Press Omnibus
      Wilson Hill Academy
      Teaching Textbooks
I think other big companies like Apologia and Saxon have online or live classes as well.
