    Really cool light.
    I wish I could find another 1st Gen NiteCore Extreme. Sadly lost mine way after they were discontinued. That light had an amazingly impressive throw and decent power for it's size. Really miss that light.

    Like the new host design but kinda disappointed to see it lacks a front spring. A few extra mm's won't be noticeable to the user yet makes it far less likely to dent the button tops and greatly enhances durability. MJ consistently highlights the benefits of a front spring a lot in models that feature it, so it's kinda weird why a new release didn't incorporate this feature.

      I received my MT2C Pro this morning; it has the same UI as MT1C pro… A mechanical “forward“ clicky that defaults to High for both momentary and full on states, it switches to Low (and back to High) if half or fully depressed again within 2 seconds. Same operation as an Olight I3t

    @agitodclxvi , No battery status on the MT lights, the MT1C Pro & MT2C Pro are completely bare bones. They both have only 2 modes, low/high and are as short and lightweight as possible while having forward style clicky switches, so no ports, indicators, second switches, memory functions etc… @chrisragone8785 (36,100 candela = 380m) , @Gieszkanne it appears an upcoming release of the MT1A Pro will be for the single 14500/AA, the shorter version of the MT2A Pro. They are similar to MT1C/MT2C pros but have reverse (rather than forward) style clicky switches and an extra mode for medium. @nickmartin8495 the MT2C Pro is the 18650 version of this light, with 1800 lumens and 67,000 candela for ~520m throw.

      Is it only 50 and 1000 lumens? If so I see this as a nice backup tactical edc, while my main will be a 18650 or a 21700 battery light.

      @samx300 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@dkin It is, yes, unfortunately for me. I had backed this on Kickstarter initially but cancelled my pledge because I'd have liked another brightness mode. It's either a very low setting or the full whack 1000lm. Not ideal as a daily (for me).
