Rest in Peace Nik Green (shown in this video).
Keyboardist/producer & engineer, Nik was taken from us much too early. Nik was John’s right hand man in the studio and on tour. He and John were mates from vary early on and played all keys on both Blue Murder albums & the Mellotron on Nothin’ But Trouble. Nik was a profound musician, producer & engineer in his own right. I was John’s in studio tech & personal asst. from 91’ thru late 93’ for the recording of N.B.T. Blue Murders sophomore release via Geffen Records.

I was in the second row and saw them at the Brook Theater in Bound Brook NJ in 88 or 89. I was a teenager in the 80’s and saw every great band including Rush on Presto, Metallica on And Justice for all. So many shows, but BLUE MURDER WAS INSANE!! I had goosebumps thru the whole show. They did the song Blue Murder and Carmine had glowing green sticks. Tony hopped around barefoot and played a sick bass solo “if I only had a brain” on fretless😂😂.
2 years sooner and these guys would have been huge.
