I would sit in the nurses office bathroom until they would agree to send me home. I got on the depo shot shortly after at 15 and lived a completely normal life. That was until about 3 years after I got off of it, at about 23. I was in excruciating pain for a week, emotional and exhausted the week before and after. There’s never really that many stories of men who survive domestic abuse and violence so watching this was eye opening and interesting. Rob is one brave man.
I hate how she used her diagnosis, her pain, her illness as a weapon. As someone who is chronically ill and in pain (almost) 24/7 I feel such a burden and I hated when I felt like my partner had to stay home for me because I couldn't take care of myself.
Im really sorry that you are going through such a tough time and are in constant pain. It must be so difficult for you. You are strong, and even though you are suffering, you have a lovely heart, and i understand the feeling of not wanting to hold your family back, but please never feel like a burden to anyone. Loved ones will always want to be there for you.
I had an ex who stalked me. 6 years I dealt with his abuse. I'm sure he still reads my comments on here too. He threatened to end himself, my dad, my grandma. He isolated me from all my friends and family. He would watch me at work and lose his mind if I talked to a male customer or coworker. I couldn't even smile at them or make eye contact. I'm so glad I got out.
Chronic illness buddies take note! If you feel like a burden for needing to be cared for or someone tells you that you are, THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE WHEN IT’S MALICIOUS!! You NEEDING help is fine. Specifically doing it only when someone needs to leave TO stop them from leaving (not needing them when they happen to be leaving, ON PURPOSE) is when it’s wrong! (And thanks to Eleanor for highlighting that difference! We need to hear it sometimes 💕)
I'm feeling like a burden so much right now and this is exactly what I needed to hear. I really appreciate that you put this message out there for all of us that need to hear it and I hope you are doing well, or as well as us chronicly ill people can be 😅. I'm sending good vibes your way and thank you again for putting this message out here for those of us who need it 💜
I just came back from a 12 hour hospital night shift, I'm exhausted, but I'm totally staying up for 1 more hour for this. Thank you for everything you do! It's much appreciated !
the thing that baffles me is how does this woman keep getting boyfriends?? like not only is she straight up evil she's also pretty grim to look at... what an awful situation for her daughter to be in
I agree that she is a horrid person in action and personality- but I know women that look like her, especially in her younger pictures- she is completely normal looking- and I would hate for the women I know to see a comment like this and think that it makes them "grim to look at" as well.
i just got out of the mental hospital, totaled my new car after hitting an 18 wheeler at 70mph and nearly getting fired and kicked out, and i’m working 12hr days 7 days a week outside in texas but my first thought after all of that is always “i can’t wait to get home and watch some of eleanore’s videos to feel better” i love watching/listening to these at work, and when i get home. i’ve seen pretty much every video multiple times and it’s so comforting. idk why im even commenting or if it makes sense, but im just really glad to have these videos, so thanks :)
Firstly I'm glad you're ok, a car is replaceable, you're not. I don't know why shit happens to good people but I really hope your luck changes & thing's start looking up my lovely ❤️
Keep your head up I had a similar situation a few years ago and it took me a long time to not get flashbacks while driving even now I still get skittish driving through the spot that it happened i hope you're able to get better and I'm happy you're okay even if the car isnt❤
Thank God you are alive and well. All the money and possessions in the world can be replaced but not life. May you live a long, happy, prosperous, and blessed life for many, many decades to come.❤❤❤
I’m happy that you weren’t seriously hurt!! When I was deep into my eating disorder I also was locked up in the hospital behind the locked door . It’s humbling , scared the shit out of me !! Not enough to have to go again 😢 I hope you have support x
How she treats her daughter just speaks volumes honestly. I'll never understand why parents try and hurt the other parent, but are actually just harming their own child. So backwards.
They have a personality disorder. No meds will fix it. They legitamely are so selfish and lack empathy they only care about themselves even if it means hurting those around them.
My ex has just gone to prison for 8 months for attacking me. Broke my nose and stabbed me in the neck. Domestic abuse is so common it’s actually scary. Never be afraid to speak out whether u are male or female. Don’t live in fear. Get help and get out. And men, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with speaking out if u are suffering. U may give somebody else the courage to do the same thing. It doesn’t make u less of a man, in fact it makes u extremely brave and courageous. Sending hugs x
I work at an OBGYN office. The thing about endometriosis is it can only be 100% diagnosed through a diagnostic laparoscopic procedure. Doctors can say they believe it is endometriosis, but it can't be confirmed without surgery.
This case resonates with me. My ex has M.E and she was my first proper girlfriend. She held me to unrealistically high standards and emotionally manipulated me. She tried to cut me off from certain family members by accusing them of things they didn't do. She often played the victim and never held herself accountable for anything she did wrong. Me being naive and inexperienced I thought the problem was with me. I tried so hard to change for her and was constantly trying to do better but it was never enough. I wish I had the backbone and sense to end the relationship earlier. To top it all off she accused me of abuse after we broke up. Never have I felt so betrayed by someone I cared about. People for your own good. Know how and when to stand up for yourself.
I work with a victim support service and attended a conference that Rob spoke at about his experience. He seems like such a lovely man and you can tell that he was completely defeated by the acts of his ex, but that he is so much stronger for it now :)
The fact Rob’s wife stayed by him and took care of his daughter throughout this whole process is amazing. I know it’s bare minimum but it’s a lot for someone at the same time
I was literally just talking to someone about how much I enjoy your content and I have hopped on the bus and opened my phone to see this posted 9 seconds ago!! perfect timing
as someone who is chronically ill at the age of 17 and gets medically gaslit by professionals on the daily, it is soooo hard to assess victoria’s situation/illness. horrible that such disgusting people give the community an even worse rep
Severe stage 4 Endometriosis and Adenomyosis warrior here! 💛 (I was diagnosed after 10 years and my case was EXTREME, my organs were on the brink of failure before I was taken seriously)
I'm so glad you are okay and got diagnosed and treated. It took me 5 years to get diagnosed with Adenomyosis. A female gynecologist once told me "women have pelvic pain and sometimes there is no reason for it, we just have to deal with it " I couldn't believe she would say this. I never went back to her. I feel women are not taken seriously when they report pain and women's health needs so much more study and compassion.
@kaleilou9641 I was told the exact same thing! It was horrendous. My surgeon didn't want to do an MRI to see if I had it, she was so bitter but decided to begrudgingly do one, turns out i had endo in my bowel, bladder, uterus, both ovaries, back, chest and shoulders. She was very timid and quiet telling me the results as she knew she had messed up. I hope you're getting the proper treatment you deserve!! ❤️
If you think someone is doing that phone nonsense to you.. get your own burner and only give that number to that one person. Tell them you've had to change your number because of harassment and then if it continues on the new number you'll know for sure!
So glad that he got custody of his daughter, can you imagine how her life would have been if left with Victoria! Just hope her other child is doing well. ❤
As someone with stage 4 Endometriosis. It’s a living hell I would not wish on my worst enemy. Getting it diagnosed is such a process & can take women up to 10 years to obtain a diagnosis. It can be found anywhere in the body also, even in the lungs & brain. I’ve got it in my bowel & bladder which is lots of fun.
I had fourth stage endometriosis, it took a cyst the size of a cantaloupe to rupture on my ovary and bleeding internally before they even believed me. I wound up getting a blood transfusion that time. I eventually had to have a full hysterectomy. It's brutal, I couldn't get out of bed some days.
@h-mz7yk it took them two more years to approve it. I was only 35 and had all my children by then and I sure wasn't getting pregnant with it so bad. Thank you, it's something I don't miss at all! Lol
@h-mz7yk I am so sorry, I had a quack tell me I was trying to fake cancer, I knew exactly what was going on because both my sister's had to have a hysterectomy also. I used to have to wear a tampon and a pad and anemic because of the massive flow I had. Tell them you don't want to risk ectopic pregnancy or a geratic one. Once you reach 35 you're at risk anyway.
I have been diagnosed with endometriosis BUT there is only ONE test to prove that a person has endometriosis. A doctor would have to preform surgery to be absolutely positive that's what it is. They don't like doing the surgery because it can and probably will make the pain worse.
I also had endometriosis until menopause set in . It was dreadful every time I had surgery which was about 12 times including bowel resection to remove the spreading endometriosis. I wish you all the best may you heal ❤
26:00 THIS! I’ve experienced this myself! I was 13 years old, and went to a specialist myself, due to heavy period pain and heavy bleeding, and this man told me “you have three options, an IUD, oral birth control, or pregnancy”, let me tell you me and my mom just stood there speechless 😧.
Clarification on endometriosis: It is a disease similar to the endometrium found anywhere in the body, outside the uterus. It is not the same as the endometrium. And the only way to officially diagnose it is with a biopsy, meaning surgery is needed. Pregnancy is Never a solution, as the disease can still grow. The gold standard to treat the disease is excision surgery, cutting out the scar tissue and disease, but finding the right surgeon is difficult and many people need multiple surgeries. I've had 4.
“He was forced to consider for the first time that she might be a drama queen”. They literally met at drama group, lol. But he sounds like such a sweet and caring person anyway.
Rob and Victoria's initial relationship reminded me a lot of the song Cherry Wine by hozier. Thank you for speaking out about men's mental health and that domestic abuse can effect anyone
The pregnancy treatment!! It's so completely wrong for a doctor to suggest this if you're in the state Victoria was in, as it'll only last 9-18 months and then you'll be back to where you were, but with the enormous additional stress of a child added onto the pile! Not to mention, giving birth with endometriosis can cause severe issues. My baby was stuck because my uterus is all stuck to my bowel etc and therefore twisted. I almost bled to death because they had to just rip her out. The correct treatment for endometriosis is actually the depot injection or the hormonal IUD. Both worked wonders for me. For anyone interested, if you have endometriosis and your doctor suggests pregnancy for symptomatic relief - run in the opposite direction! Don't let them do anything to you. Find someone who is actually very educated on specifically women's health - after years of male doctors dismissing me or botching treatment, I'd never see a male doctor for women's health issues EVER.
Most insurance companies don't want to pay for the DEPO shot, it's still considered experimental. I got one and it was amazing relief then the insurance said at $600 a shot they wouldn't help pay for it.
@kimberlyhood4095 oh that's ridiculous, I'm in the UK and that's one of the most common ways of treating endometriosis. I hated the depot shot though, it's not good to have all of your hormonal cycle shut down. The IUD has been the game changer for me
Just wanted to say, on a mildly related note, that as someone with a fairly rare disorder, I can 100% attest to what a nightmare getting something chronic and not obvious diagnosed is. Took me 10 years. And many doctors will try to gaslight you and try to tell your partner that you're lying or mentally ill, making your partner, your friends, even your family turn away from you when you need them most. It's not an excuse for this woman's unhinged actions, but it happens for real.
Good God how are there still people like this still in this world. I'm 60 years old and it's truly frightening 😮 Thank you for the video lady...lots of love to you ❤️ you look very beautiful today! You go girl ❤
As someone who genuinely suffers with endometriosis it is amazing to hear people talking about it because not many people understand what it is. But as someone who constantly struggles and is bed bound this case makes me so mad the way she used her boyfriend like that.
@@iuruoy-shaoshe definitely didn’t. 99% of us either endometriosis get told to have babies to “cure it”. She defo had endometriosis and wasn’t lying about those issues but she was absolutely using her illness to control, manipulate and abuse rob
Doctors will often recommend that women with Endometriosis get pregnant earlier than planned if the pain is severe as pregnancy is a much less invasive and more successful treatment than surgery. It’s really only recommended to women once established that plan on having children someday… Majority of doctors back in the day just assumed that all women planned on having children.
I have endometriosis, and I had a doctor recommend me that I should get pregnant "if it was bothering me so much" ... I was 14 when she told me this. BTW the age of consent in Sweden is 15, so that's so f:ed up

The fact this man spent most of his adult life taking care of this woman regardless of how she treat him to almost being killed by her. Not only did she try to kill this man but she tried to take away her daughters father, this woman is pure evil and I hope she has no affect on this rest of his life after she’s released.

I would suggest to him to relocate to another country with their adult daughter and current wife if their still together before her release next year, get far away from her as much as possible and start fresh... let everyone in their life know that they are not allowed to tell Victoria where they are and never put their new location on any social media platform or talk to a lawyer about how options to relocate somewhere within the country with new names, new phones, new address, extra

I hate that “fact” and I hate the justice system for almost always siding with mothers. Kids don’t always need their mom. They need a parental figure. Mother father aunt uncle parent. It doesn’t have to be a mother.
This reminds me of the Dalia Dippolito case; I always commend these man who do the right thing and turn in their girlfriends instead of just ignoring their threats thinking that they don’t mean it or that it’s not their problem.
It's not even a gender thing. It is people thinking either innocently but naively that it isn't happening to them, or their partner would never do it to them (9 out of 10 times, yeah they would!) Or from a more selfish standpoint that as long as they're alright, that's all that matters I broke up with someone en route home from a trip once, because on more than one occasion they'd been very rude to the petrol station staff or waiting staff. Soon ad you see that kind of bad behaviour, majority of the time you're getting a glimpse into their true character.
I used to have a friend like Victoria in middle school up to my sophomore year of high school. “O” was a great oboe player and I was an intermediate sax player. We were both introverts and weren’t into a lot of the stupid stuff that most of our peers were into. Really, we bonded over anime and music. I was a year ahead of her so I moved to high school, joined the marching band, and made new friends - particularly one in my own sax section. My former middle school was about a 20-minute walk from the high school so I’d stop by after school and hang out when I had band practice or on game days because my folks were quite strict with me and I could never go to a friend’s house unless they were right across the street (and I did have one right across the street). O finally started high school and the rule is that if you’re in any band class you have to be in marching band. She was in orchestra, symphonic, and wind ensemble, and wasn’t into marching band, but took up the xylophone to stay in the class she wanted. Marching band has a mandatory 1-week camp about 1-2 weeks before the actual semester starts, and I introduced her to my new friend group. She really hit it off with my fellow sax player “S”. As soon as she went into another section for a lunch break, he hounded me about her. And truthfully, I was happy for them. In fact, the whole group and our sections were happy for them. However, she turned into the friend and girlfriend from hell about 3 months into their relationship when they started practicing the devil’s tango. She’d text me telling me to back off from him, he wasn’t allowed to sit next to me in the stands anymore during a game even though we were in the same section, he couldn’t even sit by me when we had band rehearsal. And it was so much worse on game days. Because we were a year ahead of her, we’d be allowed to walk in groups or by ourselves to the local restaurants after school so we wouldn’t be too hungry in the stands. I was eventually told to walk either a couple feet ahead or behind the group. If she was sick or couldn’t walk with us when she was given the opportunity, O would call S’s phone until he answered. We actually counted the missed calls (over 100 sometimes). She was even jealous of his sleepovers with his male friends because she thought they’d try to… experiment. (S, as far as I and the entire friend group knew, was straight and had never even voiced anything that would hint otherwise). And at the sleepovers, it would mainly be about playing video games or them designing games they were interested in seeing in stores. S eventually broke off our friendship, but before he did, he hugged me and said, “I’m sorry that you were put in this situation. It shouldn’t be like this. You did nothing wrong.” We weren’t friends ever again. To my knowledge he reconciled with the guys because they’re guys - she was eventually convinced that they weren’t a threat. I saw O years later when I was in college. She was working at Build-a-bear part-time while going to uni. I was there with my mom and sisters for my sister’s 6th birthday. She tried to be so friendly and catch up about the past. Even mentioned that her and S were still together, (maybe engaged?). All I know is, I kept my distance and didn’t care if my mom thought it was rude of me or thought it was my introversion. I didn’t explain anything to her either. I felt straight PTSD and wanted to get the hell out of there so I took my baby sister outside the store while my mom and other sister finished up shopping. Never saw any of them again.
I think it's so good that you're bringing awareness to the fact that men are often the victims of abuse and this isn't often talked about in the same way. P.S. (Eleanor your hair looks incredible!)

I just wanted to make a slight correction on your definition of Munchausen's and Munchausen's By Proxy; yes you're right with everything you said, but it may not always be the case that the person suffering with the condition is 'pretending' to be ill, sometimes they genuinely believe that they are ill, not just pretending. In cases of By Proxy it may also be the case that the person suffering with the condition believes that the other person genuinely is ill too, it's not always a case of pretending. My mum suffers with Munchausen's and it was a difficult thing to come to terms with, but it's not always a case of them 'pretending', sometimes they genuinely believe they are experiencing illness, when in reality, there's nothing physically wrong..

He isolated me from all my friends and family. He would watch me at work and lose his mind if I talked to a male customer or coworker. I couldn't even smile at them or make eye contact. I'm so glad I got out.
jesus, that's so awful. i'm so happy you got out of that. hope you're doing better now
Chronic illness buddies take note!
I’m watching this while working my 12 hour shift in the icu now!! 😂
thank you for all you do 🥹🥹
Thank you for working in the medical field and everything that yall do❤
Thank *you* for all that you do!
ICU night shifter here also. Do you know how many true crime vids I turn on to listen as I fall asleep..... and I lose sleep to hear?! LOL
i was actually surprised to see a case where the police is properly doing its job to actually PREVENT a murder and thats honestly so sad

the thing that baffles me is how does this woman keep getting boyfriends?? like not only is she straight up evil she's also pretty grim to look at... what an awful situation for her daughter to be in
S3x is addictive
I agree that she is a horrid person in action and personality- but I know women that look like her, especially in her younger pictures- she is completely normal looking- and I would hate for the women I know to see a comment like this and think that it makes them "grim to look at" as well.

She looks like dobby

i just got out of the mental hospital, totaled my new car after hitting an 18 wheeler at 70mph and nearly getting fired and kicked out, and i’m working 12hr days 7 days a week outside in texas but my first thought after all of that is always “i can’t wait to get home and watch some of eleanore’s videos to feel better” i love watching/listening to these at work, and when i get home. i’ve seen pretty much every video multiple times and it’s so comforting. idk why im even commenting or if it makes sense, but im just really glad to have these videos, so thanks :)
Much Love and Hugs to you my friend.
“He was a true crime girlie!” 1. Iconic 😂 2. I can’t wait to start calling guys that to their faces and 3. We need that on a shirt ❤❤❤❤❤
There's some on etsy! I checked hehe
Know how and when to stand up for yourself.
thats so awful, i hope youre doing much better now, but it's good that you know that you need to stand up for yourself now. it can't have been easy x
It's scary how much Victoria reminds me of my sister-in-law. Truly hope my brother won't end up killed one day.....
I hope he gets out of that situation 🩵
I hope you are able to be there for him until he is able to get out
I work with a victim support service and attended a conference that Rob spoke at about his experience. He seems like such a lovely man and you can tell that he was completely defeated by the acts of his ex, but that he is so much stronger for it now :)
I love the use of the words “we” and “our” when Eleanor mentions supporting the videos, because thats including herself and her editors! Beautiful 🥰
The fact Rob’s wife stayed by him and took care of his daughter throughout this whole process is amazing. I know it’s bare minimum but it’s a lot for someone at the same time
I love how much Ellie and Jack bring each other up in their videos and streams. It’s so cute

I feel women are not taken seriously when they report pain and women's health needs so much more study and compassion.
it took me years and years to get my endometriosis & pcos diagnosis but it's been about a year and it's so nice to have finally been heard🥹❤️
5:31 “He’s one of us! He’s a True Crime girly!”
😄
If you think someone is doing that phone nonsense to you.. get your own burner and only give that number to that one person. Tell them you've had to change your number because of harassment and then if it continues on the new number you'll know for sure!
“Happens to the best of us, king.”

Robs angels were definitely watching over him
So glad that he got custody of his daughter, can you imagine how her life would have been if left with Victoria!
@h-mz7yk you keep fighting, you'll find the right Dr!
She only got 9 years for planning to murder him multiple times? Wtah?
literally! in a few more years she'll be free and then what?!
I was 13 years old, and went to a specialist myself, due to heavy period pain and heavy bleeding, and this man told me “you have three options, an IUD, oral birth control, or pregnancy”, let me tell you me and my mom just stood there speechless 😧.
off topic but eleanor’s hair and makeup look so good in this video😭😭 it’s such a good length on her and it looks so soft.
Thank God there were good people in this case who were willing to not murder him in the beginning and actually report it!
Perfect timing!! Thank you Eleanor!
Is it ethical for a medical practitioner to “prescribe” pregnancy to a person that they knew were in no fit state AT ALL to look after said child??!
The IUD has been the game changer for me
Thank you for posting this! My son has one of these crazies in his life. One day the police and judges will learn just how dangerous they truly are.
Now thats a father worth talking about! I hope everyone is doing well and is a peace ❤
As someone who genuinely suffers with endometriosis it is amazing to hear people talking about it because not many people understand what it is. But as someone who constantly struggles and is bed bound this case makes me so mad the way she used her boyfriend like that.
Why would you encourage a woman with “debilitating “ pain to have a baby? Someone who will be dependent on her?! Epic medical advice.
LIke at this point she probably made the doctor's claims up too
@@iuruoy-shao good call

It took me about 12-15 yrs for a diagnosis & me doing research! I came across endo & had a dr send me to a specialist & I was diagnosed stage 2. I like that you're making awareness to this debilitating disease despite.
Ughh what an awful woman! 😠 and treating the child like that, disgusting! 🥺

He didn't realize it was abuse because women can't abuse men, abuse is only physical, etc. Thank you for telling this story!
I hate that “fact” and I hate the justice system for almost always siding with mothers. Kids don’t always need their mom. They need a parental figure. Mother father aunt uncle parent. It doesn’t have to be a mother.
Even if he didn't label it as abuse, he could have still end the relationship for good for the reason that he wasn't happy in it.
Thank God it’s Freaky Friday with Eleanor 🔥
I find black widow cases to be more intriguing because of the scheming and psychological aspect
This reminds me of the Dalia Dippolito case; I always commend these man who do the right thing and turn in their girlfriends instead of just ignoring their threats thinking that they don’t mean it or that it’s not their problem.
It's not even a gender thing. It is people thinking either innocently but naively that it isn't happening to them, or their partner would never do it to them (9 out of 10 times, yeah they would!) Or from a more selfish standpoint that as long as they're alright, that's all that matters
I broke up with someone en route home from a trip once, because on more than one occasion they'd been very rude to the petrol station staff or waiting staff.
