What's New In Baltimore from the Mothers of Prevention album (1985). Frank's guitar solo is happy and its contagious. The piece itself has a great melody.

Thanks to Lee's channel and Peter K, I've found myself becoming a Zappa fan. Even before I was brave enough to comment, I wanted to expand my musical experiences, so I landed here. And I'm very glad I did. Great pick and reaction. Blessings all.
I know that he was in Dortmund, Germany 1979, because I was there. He walked up and down this huge stage with a wireless electric guitar with a little antenna and another device in the ceiling that transported the signals. Mostly Koe's Garage material, as I may faultily recall.
I suggested this a few months ago but I’m not a patreon member. At this point I’m stalking Peter K. Thanks Peter. One of my all time favorite Zappa guitar efforts. It’s sublime.
Important to know from which song the solos on Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar comes from. This tasty little sucker is the solo from The Illinois Enema Bandit, so you know the solo has a bluesy vibe to it. Frank had a good sense of blues in his playing. Arf arf!
@@lw1zfog From the FZ:OZ concert: *"He would rush back into where the college-educated woman was tied up, spread the gluteus maximus (thank you) and then he would jam the thing in there and give it a couple of quick little poots, beat his meat, and then tell the girl not to call the police for at least five minutes until after he had gone."*
So all of the tracks on this album are not actually real Songs per say...they are all actually Guitar Solos from live recordings of real Zappa songs. This one for example is the guitar solo from a live performance of The Legend Of The Illinois Enema Bandit on December 11, 1980 in Santa Monica.
I think tunes like five-five-FIVE, Treacherous Cretins, Heavy Duty Judy, Deathless Horsie and maybe Pink Napkins are songs of their own. Then you have While you were out and Stucco Homes, studio xenocrony constructions and the Canard du Jour improvisation.
Hot damn momma, there goes that man... again. Lol. So, where do you want to head next? Let me know here. I'm down for whatever Frank you got for me..

Unedited Master or Record Plant Mix ?
either works
Delicious
Can't name that song? Just hum it to the Google app to find it. Frank Zappa: Good luck…
Well...I know someone else that does stuff like that....
Me.
If you listened to the album I sent you... you'd know that.
C'mon, Boulet... You can't compare yourself to Frank.
Nobody's ever heard of you.
