The flip into the tilted cube and still being able to get an evasion was absolutely amazing. One of the most entertaining matches in WCT history imo. Hope Schlappen returns one day lmao

The flip even almost looked functional, mans was right beneath him a foot tag could've easily happened had he taken a regular step. He looked like he was playing the most seriously out of all the Germans tbh. Makes me want a version of the sport where u get points for style tbh.

i found this sport after kyle soderman mentioned it on anw and ive been hooked ever since. each team has its own amazing tactics and each run is so fun to watch. 100% adding this to my bucket list of things i want to do

@@shayturkia agreed. I already know from experience that Brazil and Thailand has some great parkour athletes. plus we’ve gotten japan and sorta china already and they’ve shown to be fantastic.
Also every new team brings something new to the sport wich opens up a new method for chasing. The British are scramblers. The French are climbers. The Spanish like to slide. the Americans jump, and the japonese were swingers etc. the same can be said for other sport crossover as some sports you dont think would have been good do fantastic like CrossFit making the great tanks of a chaiser, or tennis bringing in people who are really good at juking people as they can turn on a dime
Every time the sport gets something new its alwase interesting to see how it will interact with the sport. It’s kinda like mma in the early days where the true worth of martial art practices were still being put to the test

Some of us have been playing Tag for 10+ years. All trained in Parkour movement for an estimated 15 years. So the answer is yes

Never thought I’d be watching grown men play tag.
I found this embarrassing and I think it's damaging to the sport. I know some others found it entertaining. I like the fun in World Chase Tag, but I don't come to this channel to see the circus. I'd like others to see me watching World Chase Tag in my lunch break and be interested or impressed enough to ask about it. This nonsense and the nearly naked man are not going to impress people.

At first the commentator said that the loser is gonna leave. I thought why is that, then I noticed that Schlappen already played PHAT before, and apparently they lost, so a second loss means an elimination from the group.
Right?

This was the third match for both teams in the group. Based on the fact that both Apex Eth and Phat had more points than both of them, whoever won the match would score 3 points giving them third in the group leaving the losers in fourth in the group. This meant that Fata Morgana advanced to the playoffs (1st in the group advances to quarters, 2nd and 3rd go to playoffs) and Schlappen was eliminated (as with any team that placed 4th in the group.)

Seems like this is a typical mistake to differentiate between dutch and german.
1The background flag is red white blue, not black red yellow.
2 Their shirts are in the national colour orange of the royal family.
3 Names lean slightly more to dutch aswell.
But who knows, maybe this was just another joke from those germans! 🤔
Except from one of the competitors that indeed had a dutch flag they all have the german flag background, also they have the german flag on the side of thier sleeves
