Parkour 59 looked like they were coming from the future. Completely outsmarted United with better tactics. That playing around the Ridge at the start is super effective/ They know when to slow and when to accelerate when chased, they know how to corner when chasing... High level stuff! I was skeptical of the French teams chances this year, but my doubts have been erased!
Whoa, what a dominate performance by PK59! PK's overall awareness of where chasers were on the quad seemed to be completely on point. United, is skilled no doubt, they just couldn't string any momentum together.

Parkour 59 did a good job but can't see them making the semifinals. I think they play Envy GNF next. That would be an immense upset if they win.
The captain, Loïc, was also back from World Chase Tag 4. But you are right, they had a lot of inexperienced players and were nowhere near the level of their win. But when I saw Charles and Clement playing for Marrero Gang, I couldn't help but feel like the whole game has kind of overtaken them and teams like PK59 or Kimeo will have a much brighter future next to Blacklist.
3:23 Face tags the shoe! I think taggers should do more of a straight lunge into the shoes with their outstretched hand, instead of the side swiping motion. In this situation the the evader is committing to running straight forward, his push off foot will be planted and then moving straight forward and up slightly. Just push hand straight into their heel.
Caryl stops and Charles and Clement joined Marrero Gang (worst decision of their careers because this team is no longer strong (elimination in Group Stage during this World Championships)
Unfortunatly there was some internal drama in United and Caryl, Charles and Clement all dropped out of the time, Charles and Clement went to Marrero gang which unfortuanly didn't make it out of Group B. Hopefully we will see a return on Caryl at some point!
I'm especially sad that we didn't get to see Caryl. I think I had by far the most potential of all United players and a year ago he competed in a German format called "Catch" with some similiar games. He absolutely dominated the likes of Nabil, Valentin (Blacklist) and David Nelmes there in different competitions. So I was really looking forward to see if that translated to the quad.
on a side note, humourous hearing that person's partner going "allez allez allez", audibly cheering on every single race above everyone else. Love the enthusiasm
What's the rule on forearm tags? I see two different contacts on chase 6, but the player didn't call for it, and the refs didn't call them. Not that it makes much of a difference, considering the end. Sidenote added in the edit: one of the closest games so far to one of the most dominant from the underdogs. Seems like there's much more to come if this is just in the Quarters.
Hey team wct can u pls make the timer and team names more minimalist in design which helps in better viewing of match and less distraction/noise on screen
It's a shame that all I can hear is a girl saying "allé" and, as a french speaker, I can't get past it since it's like she is yelling in the mic. Imagine as an english speaker, a girl just yelling "go" every 3 seconds during 6 minutes straight. I understand that she is supporting her team and I am more than ok with it but we should not hear her so loudly in the mic. You should do something about it. I don't think I am the only one bothered by that.

I’m sure a lot of people want gnf to win, but then again, everybody loves an underdog story
