Thanks for comment! - My buddy Blake is the one providing the information. Heres his channel. He may be posting some mushroom content soon ruclips.net/channel/UCZsUwb7UHsYX038U76a4ciw
5:13 could be clitocybe (funnels) 5:25 mostly amanita frostiana 12:42 not trippy ones hahah. Could be gymnopus, entoloma or such, very vague from the video
Not sure if I understand that question. Private property - no unless permitted to. Public property yes. Unless you feel that public property is unsafe for some reason, then use your judgment. We climbed up a tree a few months ago that was hanging over market street. Huge Lions mane, not recommended though.
Beautiful! Thanks for cover back the soil with leaves. Those small chanterelles in the beginning will most probably not grow any larger. Later

If yall could do close ups if the mushrooms this would be great
Chanterelle spore are often spread and carried by over flow and water drainage.I often find the them in wash outs.
Where should you look for “magic” mushrooms. What do they look like etc. I’ve taken them twice in college and really wanna do it again
Nice finds!
I find them as big as your hand in eastern N.C..
Are there any groups that go hunting showing people the different types and what to avoid
Where is this near Carolina beach park?
I'm in the sanford area. Good forging out that way?
UNCW property in Br County?

Thanks for info? So non trippy?
@@jeffpyles2672 no. Did not see any tripping ones in the video. Tripping ones will bruise blue if you rub the surface, especially on the stem
Been trying to start mushroom hunting in the NC piedmont myself. Any recommendations? Willing to help a newbie?
I'm in the piedmont myself and wondering if you had any luck or found any groups that could help identify
@zackbuchanan4323 I wish! I know one other guy that lives an hour from me who finds mushrooms on his property, but no groups yet.
@zackbuchanan4323 the closest I have seen are groups in Asheville that go foraging. I'm still looking for fungi friends. 😆
Where in NC can we not forage other then private property?

@@jeffpyles2672 private property if we have permission. But what state parks national parks local town parks etc
Btw, 225 bucks per pound is way too expensive. Don't buy that haha. I will share for free if I pick them
Yeah I agree, Im new to mushroom foraging and thought it was interesting part about finding Chanterelles
Put some holes in your bag so the pores can fall out while you walk
