Hi Adam, hope you're well. So pleased you're still uploading videos. Your videos are engaging not to mention very helpful and insightful, wonderful stuff. I don't know if this matters, but want to say it. I have some heavy mental health troubles and find foraging for wild foods a healthy way of using my senses and light exercise, keeping my mind in the here and now, while releasing hormones in my brain, helping me be more balanced. I watched your video on nettles, and you said they contain serotonin. Are there any fungi that contain serotonin as well? Sorry to ask. A big thanks.
I'm not sure about serotonin in mushrooms and I'm no doctor, but I do know that the exercise and Vitamin D that you're getting by being outside are just as important in helping to release natural endorphins that can have a similar effect to serotonin. I've come to believe that eating well and exercising are more effective habits than taking a pill, any day. Getting there while struggling with mental illness is easier said than done, but it sounds like you're on the right track. You got this, Chris!

can't thank you enough for this video, this really helped me id trees big time. love all your videos.
You're right across Lake Erie from me. I'm in southern Ontario Canada. It's great everything you talk about is relevant here.
Great information as always! Excellent for me anyway. I shared to FB and have been sending everyone I know who’s even remotely interested in mushrooms to your channel! Super excited to get out this spring and really dive in. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. You’re truly appreciated! Blessings ~Lisa
You're welcome, Lisa! Thanks for your continued support!
I have come back to this video which is a gold nugget, packed with the most important things when trying to locate mushrooms. Astounding knowledge and delivery.
New subscriber. Fantastic videos and your personality is awesome with a wealth of knowledge. Don’t stop creating!
I'm new to Mushroom foraging, and I found this helpful, I live in Northern Maine, and we have a lot of the trees mentioned in this video, will be trying my luck once spring rolls around for sure!

Do BC Canada next!! Hahahha just kidding, but it would be so rad. I'm a berry fiend and I know a bunch of the native stuff around here but I bet there's some I'm avoiding that I could eat. Anyways, you rock brother. 🤙
The info in this video is easily worth its weight. Not many mycos sending this info out there for free. Good stuff dude.
Thanks for another great video. I will use it in my own woods. So glad to get to know it better because of your good work!
Glad you liked it!
You are an inspiration to learn your land. I'm very far behind. I'm about to be camping soon and started learning mushrooms and I think I'm not going to be able to confidently pick any at this point. But I will at least hunt and learn while I am out and see what I can find. I'll stick with edible plants for this trip and just learn mushrooms while on the way. Thanks for your expertise. As I said, it is inspiring because it is clear you are passionate about this and that you've put the genuine work to teach others.
💚 Wow, your content is incredible Adam! I have a small foraging channel too, and I'm truly inspired by your work. Your originality and creativity are next level. Keep up the great work and keep inspiring others to connect with nature! 🌿
I just discovered your work, Adam. Amazing videos and content. As a fellow mycophile, I greatly appreciate people that communicate to wise audiences the wonders of fungi!
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Love your enthusiasm! Good accurate info.
I can't believe how fast you rattle all of that information off! Your knowledge is incredible! Thank you for sharing your passion.
Great stuff dude. I am going mushroom hunting in the central Florida swap forest across the street from condo complex so I can eaten by my neighbor a 13 foot gator
This is going to help me so much, I know most of my states trees, but knowing the mushrooms that grow by them will make my finding a little easier.
Hello sir, I must say you are very pleasant and informative. I have subscribed and will continue to tune in. Thanks so much.👍
You blow my mind with all the information you can remember and rattle off so easily.
i often use environment to find what Im looking for. environment shows whats nearby in that forest. :) (not only mushrooms, but herbs, and fish, etc... as well. :)
Wow, another great RUclips channel about the natural world! Excellent content, very well presented. What a polished speaker!
I absolutely LOVE your videos! Thank You!

@@LearnYourLand Your very informative! You need to visit Alaska sometime. Tons of mushrooms. I've bought books but still have trouble figuring out what each is. Book layouts are not particularly helpful in finding any given mushroom in front of you. Or aren't in the book. GwinsLodge.com Alaskan cabin rentals Kenai Peninsula
