@TysonHugie thought we did, but we saw what we saw. Can't take it back now. Lol Can't believe how a couple of comments went after me last week for not saying what I sold my Lude for on your last video. But yet they never ask you what you buy or sell a car for much less how much you spend while you have it.
Nicely done... I have 88 accord just completed 300,000 miles. Still all original in gold color. And not even a scratch on it. I bought it in 1996 from the Acura dealership. Only had 2000 miles on it. Drove all over the USA. Love this car, and all my other cars. My passion
Hey Tyson I’ve been a fan of your channel for years,, more importantly my 90 year old grandmother who owned a ‘93 legend sedan and 95 legend coupe LOVES the videos on your channel♥️ keep preserving this beautiful platform. It’s been a privilege to see people caring so highly for these cars.
100,000 miles on an Gen 1 Legend? Now that is amazing to see. Congrats on the milestone and am looking forward to seeing more as the 40th anniversary is coming soon!
When I was a kid my aunt had a new 87 accord and I heard nothing about this Acura legend. I guess they were just starting and cost more. I didn’t know about Acura until the 91’s came out. I remember later on my nephew wanting this version of the legend because by then they were on the used market. It’s always nice to see the car hit its milestone.🤩
Congratulations on your 100,000 miles. Car looks beautiful! I should have recorded my 98 Mustang hitting 100k but I missed out. If I ever get a Honda or Acura I’m hitting you up if it’s a project car.
Congratulations on getting the 86 to 100K!! That car is a spitting image of my first ever car, I had an 87 Automatic, didn't have the moonroof but it is otherwise all the same!! Hell, the windows even sounded the same LOL. Question!!?? did you have or have ever had a Legend have trouble starting in cold where you had to starve the engine out to get it to stay started? I had to clamp the fuel line with a set of vice grips to get it to stay on! In any case, well done, thanks for the channel sir! Ill eventually get another Legend in the garage, just not in the cards for me now, however I am quite happy with my 2019 Ridgeline, that Acura logo will be on another vehicle I drive, mark my words!
Nice, thanks for sharing. I haven't had any issues with cold start symptoms, in fact it's the opposite, sometimes the car takes a couple of cranks when it's exceptionally warm. Enjoy your Ridgeline, they are awesome vehicles.
What a beautifull car and amazing adventure! One question, do you know where your Legend was produced? We in Europe got the ones produced in the UK. But they were also made in Japan back in the days. From 1989 and on Honda/Acura switched completely to producing these Legends in Japan.
Well that only took around 38 years! I'd love to have one of these but afraid the parts network is not that good. The second gen has a great community and I've bought parts from Alan in FL, Lou in PA and others, for my '94 GS.
You found the right connections! I will be seeing Alan at this year's annual Legend meet in September. Maybe I need to think of some parts to have him bring me.
What a fitting place to do the 100k rollover with the 1G Legend! Very, very cool! Random question - if I was to jump in the 1986 Legend after driving my TLX, what do you think would be the biggest differences I would notice in driving dynamics between a current vehicle and a classic/historic Acura like your 1986?
Very nice car, and it seems like it handles well too. Btw, the gas cap on my Accord coupe self unscrews when the tank is full or nearly full and the weather is hot. I always tighten it until I hear a few clicks. Do you think there's a problem with it, or maybe the EVAP system is broken?
Don't act like you didn't map out that route to Legends down to the tenth of a mile for this to work out so perfectly.. we know you better than that lol
Haha, there was still an element of risk / variance. I wasn't sure I'd be able to park in front of the rock because it's a loading area and had cars lined up earlier in the day
Stickers go on windows, so the paint fades evenly. I could barely watch that part.
Lol. It was a homemade sticker held on temporarily with scotch tape. You don't know me very well if you think I would leave a sticker on the paint :)

Stop hating! Either enjoy or go away!
@@AristoPeiOfficial WTF? Maybe you should stay out of the comments?
A first ever year Acura just hitting 100k 38 years later is amazing.
Haha yes. Little late to the party.
Congratulations on 100,000 miles! I’ll keep following you on the restoration process!
Thank you! Appreciate it!
That was better than the Lunar Eclipse….
I remember going to the dealership and looking at those on Bell Road back in the 80s…

Congratulations got to love that Honda reliability
Thank you!
very cool trip / milestone.
Thank you!
Very nice car, barely broken in.
True that!
Congrats on the 100k! The Legend club sandwich would've been my choice as well. Thanks for the ride along on this Legendary trip!
Thank you Denver!
Another milestone achieved. Congrats!
A legendary drive in a legend while on legend trail. How fitting 😊. Cheers!
Haha exactly. Thanks Ty
That car sounds fantastic!
I think it is enjoying the open road! It spent a lot of time just parked in recent years.
100k, Legendary! My 2023 TLX just hit 10k on 4/4/24
Congratulations!
Great venue for the celebration, nicely done!
Thanks Mark!
Thanks for the chuckle! Best video yet 👍
Haha thanks Gary

Congrats to the President of the Acura Club and your car's 100,000 milestone odometer reading!
Why, thank you!
Congratulations on another milestone!
Woohoo, even though this is a small one :)
Congrats on 100k! Great video.

would be nerdy!
Haha, I'm thinking joining!
Congrats on the timing well done my friend!
Thanks Fred!
Love it!!!!
Thanks 🙂
Congrats on the monumental 100k! The engine still sounds healthy and rev-happy after all these years. Any oil consumption you noticed?
I haven't noticed any! Have only driven the car about 200-300 miles since I got it last year
Epic!
Thanks!

Yes this one was built at Sayama, Japan
my 94 integra just turned over 70k. ill need one of those stickers in a decade or two
Haha awesome, I'll work on getting you one
Awesome!
Thanks Eric!
Even that First Gen Legend has a nice engine sound to it, can’t beat a V6 and manual
Agreed, and this 2.5 only lasted for 2 years! By 1988 all Legends had a 2.7, then in 1991 they went to a 3.2. Love the original sound and feel.
Epic ❤❤
Thanks Damon!

What timing on how to roll 100K my friend! Such great scenery too! Need to get back out soon.
Definitely! Thank you my friend!!
We have a 88 one junked at LKQ I didn’t look at the miles bc it was so nasty inside but it had some nice OEM goodies on the out side
They are getting tougher and tougher to find
We’re a hat my man.
Not usually

I notice a strong sense of “connectedness” with the driving experience (no touchscreens, analog controls) and heightened visibility in the 1986.
Getting after it on the road in the legend. Punch It
Haha that car sounds so good I couldn't resist

Interesting, I haven't heard of that happening before but I'll see what I can find out
I had the same one in the late 90’s until I was hit but still continued to drive it I had over 190k on it and still got 5500 for it
@@jimcatanzaro7808 That’s awesome
