    With all due respect to the vintage one, in my opinion the reissue cracked it... Let's be honest, Fender did a great job this time.

    Wouldn't a 10 inch speaker and a 12 inch speaker have a different sound anyways?

    I think most importantly make sure you tune your guitar! The amps sound great but it took me completely out of it for how out of tune you were.

    Fantastic Amazing you are the bomb man I mean anyone who has an original copy of JJ Cales 1st album called "Naturally" such as the one with the racoon on it behind the new amp is alright in my book I bought one of the first few copies ever sold back in 1970 then made the mistake of loaning it to someone. aaaaah! You cant imagine how beautiful that looks to me. wow! My favorite record of all my 68 years Oh this video is about an amp lol sorry I plead temporary insanity, Love the amp BTW

    Did you have the Reverb set the same on both amplifiers?
    Just saying, that could be part of the reason for the different tones from each.

  • @lookbovine

    That speaker in the new amp is NOT broken in.

    Fender Brown series overdrive the best of all fenders.

    Only Fender could change the tolex, same basic circuit, put a 12" speaker in it and charge wayyy more....

    "let's try some overdrive" and then you didn't turn up either amp... which is the whole point of having an amp like this. Boo.

      Kyle Burdy. I enjoyed it with a Les Paul! I think this is the only video without a Tele or Strat.
      Love the slight overdrive with the humbuckers.
      The Strats and Teles definitely sound brighter with the 12” than the Les Paul.

    • @killat0r
      @killat0r 5 лет назад

      @@edwardmonsariste4050 Yeah, I agree, definitely brighter, I guess I just like that brighter tone myself. It still sounded cool with the Humbuckers. You should check it out with some P90's, it sounds real good! :D

    • @zaqintosh
      @zaqintosh 5 лет назад +4

      Totally disagree, Les Paul's semi clean into fender amps is one of the best tones in the world! Refreshing to see yet not another video of a fender guitar plugged into a fender amp. Also refreshing not to see the Les Paul fall victim to people who think it's only used for high gain / heavy rock situations

    • @ericmathews7129
      @ericmathews7129 5 лет назад +2

      The les paul into a a semi clean fender is such a solid sound. Also, the les paul was already out on a stand so I just grabbed that for the demo. There are plenty of other videos with teles and strats
