Not that hard, i Just did solo-tactician- no lone wolf. Just heal the guy with magic and scrolls

this doesnt work for me it just starts the fight with the person who casts the spell, or he just stands there after the convo, his family are safe, but no other lines apart from no-idea and leave.

I always let him die, to be honest, is there really a good reason to go through the entire chore of saving him?

I tried this, teleport works and the quest is solved. but the battle starts. Maybe some patch correct this trick.

Yes this way is easiest but you miss a ton of xp doing it like this... I suggest using the tent exploit
