    Thank you so much for taking the time to put this learning together! It is fantastic and I was able to follow along with you and create my first clipart set! I am not working on a MAC and I feel like I missed a part of the instructions but when I go back, I can't seem to find the step I'm wondering about. Once you've exported your "Little Preview" slides, you go about creating the rest of the files. Are you adding a slide for each flower separately in Powerpoint? I'm a little lost between Little Preview and Compressing the images to a zip file. Any tips you could share would be great! Thank you.

      It’s a bit hard to describe in a message to answer this question but I am working on doing an updated version of this video very soon!
      I haven’t gone back to watch this for a while but the main things you need for the upload process on TPT are
      -Little preview (4 square thumbnail images)
      -Big preview (PDF up to you how you choose to display this)
      -compressed ZIP file of clipart elements (usually PNGS) & TOU ( Terms of use )
      I hope this is a little helpful but am going to do an upstate version of this video soon that might make it more clearer 💕🌸

    Thank you so very much for putting this together. I have spent hours searching videos and/or trying to read about putting “clip art” onto TpT - but there is very little out there - TONS on uploading other types of products, but your video is the first I’ve found on clip art. Thank you again as I can tell it was a lot of work doing this…it was so helpful. I have one question, though. I also use Procreate to create my clip art and wondered if you have any issues with it being pixel based versus vector? I’m still trying to figure out if I need to learn how to transfer my work into something like Adobe Illustrator. Thank you again for your wonderful video.

      Hello Mac W!
      It means so much that you have left such a wonderful comment!
      I really appreciate that, I'm so glad that it was helpful!
      I did a lot of investigating myself trying to figure it all out as well trying to work out how to create/upload and sell clipart on TPT and I couldn't find a lot on it so I know how hard it was to try and find videos with the information in it which ultimately led me to creating this channel as theres so little on it and although I still class myself as a beginner still... I thought I could share what I do know to help others to the same! it's such a learning curve learning it all!
      In regards to your question I know what you mean as when I started with procreate I thought some of it looked a bit blurry in some places... however if you try to use the brushes that are more sharper looking I find that helps... but personally I haven't had any complaints or issues with it being pixel based on TPT!
      I know that some other sites that sell clipart they like more of the vector style clipart and if you have like adobe illustrator/vector based program etc then your images may come out that little more crisp but in total I have had no comments on the quality of my clipart (as of yet- this store is fairly new still) but all has been positive reviews and for most part the clipart used on TPT is going to be used in either Worksheets, decor, PowerPoint, digital platforms and the likes for Teaching resources.. I have used my own clipart on my other TPT store in products and I'm happy with the clarity of it for it for what I need it for. Procreate as far as I know doesn't "vectorise" if thats the word so if you do decide to move it to and use a program that does vectorise it I'm sure that's just a massive BONUS to the buyer with the crispness of the quality of clipart and being able to scale it without loosing quality. But no issues or complaints thus far just posting my procreate art at this point :)
      I hope that makes sense haha
      Thank you for your support! I'm excited to share more knowledge, tips and videos so stay tuned! If you have any video suggestions I'm all ears! :D

      @@tealazzoclipart just so you know, you definitely can export work from Procreate into Adobe Illustrator. You can do just the black lines and send back into Procreate, or you can do both color and black line work. But it’s not intuitive to use Illustrator, and I’ve been teaching myself as I go. I do have it, but I’m not ready to jump in yet. This is enough - plus we start back to school next week. Too much to think about. I promised myself I’d get my store up before school began as I have a fall packet I’d like to put on. I also have a free packet, plus 2 other small collections. So - tossing to the wind and going for it. I’ll be rewatching your video again. You asked about future posts - I was wondering about the part you had to speed through due to time…? Was it your cover page? Thanks again - Prayers for the people Down Under! The world has gone crazy! :)

    • @tealazzoclipart
      @tealazzoclipart  3 года назад

      @@macw3584 Oh thanks for sharing! I haven't invested in Adobe Illustrator YET however in the near future I might! But just like yourself I'm just learning Procreate and focusing on that for now haha lots to learn still! I bough Affinity Designer I think it's called but haven't taught myself that yet but down the track thought that might be handy as well! but I do really love how Procreate is intuitive like you said :) It sounds like you are very busy I totally understand and feel you there haha! It does take a bit to get everything set up and going but there is never the 'right' time to start but you definitely want to put your best foot forward starting out if you can and if you can learn from others mistakes who have gone first thats certainly helpful :)
      Also When you upload things onto TPT honestly it takes a little while before traction happens with buyers and like I said in my first video it took just about 2 weeks for me to get a sale but there's also the fact that if it's not in your store it can't sell haha so I'd say just keep working on some of your content first if you aren't fully ready to jump in yet so when you do open up then you have a good foundation of products! ALSO YOUR first product HAS to be FREE... thought I'd mention that just in case!
      Thanks for the response I will do a seperate video on that part I think (It was my big preview and how I include that! :)
      I have some pretty valuable videos I think might help coming up especially if you are just starting out! Thank you for the Prayers! Hope everything is going okay where you are! The world is surely in a bit of a crazy spot in history right now thats for sure :) Good luck with your next few weeks starting back at school!

    Thank you so much for your helpful video! When I download my artwork as a PNG and try to use it in one of my invitation designs, it is partially see through. I've been using watercolor brushes so not sure if that it why? How do you create watercolored style clipart but make it so it isn't partially transparent?

    • @tealazzoclipart
      @tealazzoclipart  2 года назад +1

      Hello Whitney! You’re welcome! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
      Yes it’s definitely because of the watercolour brushes! If you are using those kinds of brushes you’ll have to either layer them to become thicker or if you’re wanting that watery effect what I’d probably do would be to insert a layer underneath and use a brush like (monoline or a solid brush that’s not transparent for example) and put it underneath
      On a layer below the watercolour drawing so that the watercolour sits on top and just erase the parts so the white is just sitting underneath whatever you have drawn with the watercolour brushes.
      I hope that makes sense it’s sort of hard to describe…maybe I can do a video about that sometime soon. But in the meantime I hope that makes sense! Just try and add some white with a solid brush underneath the watercolour layer 💕

    Silly question do you have to be a teacher

    • @tealazzoclipart
      @tealazzoclipart  2 года назад +1

      Hi Chantal no you don’t have to be a teacher. 🙂It’s recommended if you are (depending on what your intention is and what you want to sell on the platform to have a background context in education) but you certainly don’t have to be!
      If you are someone who is creative or interested in learning new things (especially if you are just wanting to sell clipart) you don’t have to have a teaching background. If you are wanting to sell resources it helps to have a teaching education background but is not an exact requirement.
      Just depends on what you’d like to sell on there. But there are many homeschool mums, educators in other forms like speech pathologists, graphic designers who create things to assist educational worksheets like make fonts and clipart and the likes :)
      It’s a marketplace for education resources primarily but there’s space for others to chime in if you have skills in other areas to help the education space :)
      Hope that makes sense!
