God Bless Shaun Martin ❤ 🙏🏾 You are amazing and an absolute genius of the keyboards. Always in awe listening to the Snarky Puppy family! Sending my condolences. R.I.H. 🌹 xxx
That Moog/Hammond solo, is one of the coolest things I heard in a long time. It is not too complicated, but played with so much soul.... simply terrific, worth more than gold.
+CoolJazzification I would say it´s actually quite complicated, but to stiff for a "soul" sound. Close but no cigarr. But thanks samuel L jackson, you´re a true inspiration.
In a word...''WOW'' Finally some REAL MUSIC in today's world played by REAL MUSICIANS...What a Concept!!!...I can only Pray it catches on...p.s..I am a Fan as of TODAY!
SICKEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD...it's cool, got a great beat, and consists of all outstanding musicians. The keyboards are DIRTY...especially the MOOG solo! Props guys!
Good. Music. Kudos. You know that every person there is a GREAT musician because... There are like 30,000 people in that room and NOBODY is stepping on anyone else's toes. Musical maturity is so refreshing.
Man you guys are frosty...I am 60 years old and have heard damn near everybody. I also have been working in the music industry as a producer for 40 years and you guys are the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Keep on keepin on Cheers
@Egglay - The horn players, left to right, are Ian Rapien (tenor sax), Chris Bullock (tenor sax), Jay Jennings (trumpet), and Mike Maher (trumpet). All New York residents.
Woo hoo! Tremendous and the CD is well worth buying, it's awesome and on all the time here. It comes with a DVD too, if you can stand to watch all these young, clever Americans @ the same time as listening to them. Tremendous drummer.
Have only found Snarky Puppy recently after first finding Cory Henry play with the Metropole Orkest in a BBC prom tribute to Quincy Jones . Feel as excited about this music today as I first did when finding Santana in the early 1970s.
Snarky Puppy has a modern Chicago sound with Funk and just mean and nasty on the neck muscles; you can't help but to bob your head back and forth. Look at the audience and the musicians. Its contagious, better have an ice pack behind your neck because its going to get sore listening to their sound. SP is definitely carving a nitch for them selves. Love it
I don't cry but one tear came out while watching this. One of my favourites by Snarky. You guys are the top dog, so amazing. The joy while they're playing just kills me. SO happy and so creative, much love
Hey, friends. Just letting you know that Snarky Puppy will be on tour in the U.S. and Canada from March 20 - April 24, 2011, and possibly in Europe from August 1 - August 23. You can see the updated schedule at Snarky Puppy's home page.
This is amazing! I play the trumpet at Booker T. Washington High School, and these guys played a show with some of my school's ensembles last week, but I had to miss it because I had UIL. I can't believe I missed such a great and innovative group like Snarky Puppy. It's like they've created a whole new music genre. I'm a huge fan of this awesome group. Bradley Ashmore
a breath of fresh air to the music scene. totally impressed with this bands style and concepts.... we sure need alot more of this in the modern music industry.
The whole "Tell Your Friends" album is fantastic but Whitecap is certainly the best thing I've heard this century! Come to the UK soon and bring Shaun Martin.
what the what. ab....soul.......utely amazing.... i cant stop rockin......cant stop sayin what the what..... i had to smack my self sence theres no one around....... love it..
One day I hope to reach musicality of 1/100th of any of these players. Until then, I'll keep dreaming. Keep it up ladies and gents. This shit is amazing.
the more listen, thee more take in. the more you can put out. Wearing my fingers and left foot (to keep my right foot on gas pedal) out keeping rhythm on the steering wheel. So, don't dive to deep, it can drive you crazy.
This was about the time I got into Snarky Puppy, well maybe a little later, seems like I remember them having just released Bring Us The Bright when I first heard "Alma" (the song that started it all for me). Anyway, it's crazy just how much these guys have changed from then until now. An amazing evolution, no doubt.
These people have amazing control over themselves. Me I would be jumping thru the roof man losing my mind, this is music I wish it was bands wanting to play like this in va
So, just over 113k in views... I didn't realize that I had watched this so many times. 100k just from me! Wow! Really surprised this doesn't have 1 million yet. This song is amazing! I just assumed everyone was sharing it as much as I have been. I wonder what would happen if SP went the Dirty Loops route and did pop covers
I saw Snarky live a few weeks ago, and it was a great time, but there was ONE song in their set that I couldn't identify at the time. I figured at the time it was one off of their new album that I just hadn't memorized yet, but I went and listened to all of Culcha Vulcha and couldn't find it. For some reason I feel like it was a version of this song, Whitecap, but with a big Jay Jennings flugelhorn solo in the middle haha idk, anybody else happen to be at their show in Flint, MI on May 10th?
I'm positive this has been mentioned previously, but the splash cymbal on the main snare is absolutely NASTY! A damn good nasty! @charcharism AGREED 1000%
another awesome song! You guys should do like Street fighter music, love the music you did for Mobile suit Iron blooded Orphans, great show. I was wondering after my story is finished if you would join for a game I am doing? Peace!
God Bless Shaun Martin ❤ 🙏🏾

I never get tired of watching all these puppy vids.
That's badass. Keep rockin' and we'll keep making new stuff. Cheers.
Still watching too 😁
Can't spend a week without that song...even my 2ys old son grooves to it
rackopacko raising him well!

Snarky Puppy makes music that is absolutely fantastic fun to play in a band. Everyone has an important part and can vibe together, it's fab.
thats such a killing organ solo, i wish they would have had a camera on him during that!
In a word...''WOW''

My favorite sound in the world 5:04

It's 2020 and this is still one of my favorites to listen to. Timeless

I like this version much more than new remastered thing. Thanks for keeping it online!
Leszek Nowak Eric Hartman
5:05 - BAP-BAP-BAP-BAH-DAH!Yoop-CRASH! Brilliant. If Edd Kalehoff (sp?) had been in Chicago (the band, that is), might have sounded a bit like this...
this video should have 3 million views
Have only found Snarky Puppy recently after first finding Cory Henry play with the Metropole Orkest in a BBC prom tribute to Quincy Jones . Feel as excited about this music today as I first did when finding Santana in the early 1970s.
I had the pleasure of seeing this band live....it....was.....amazing!!!!

That Moog solo at 5:18 is the sickest solo ever.
Only took me a couple of years to really notice it, but WOW at that bass riff fill by Mike @ 3:28! Percussive, simple...
I just have no words.. i've watched about 6 times. No words
Real music. Real Musicianship. What a contrast to the noise I hear on the latest hit radio station.
HOLY--- this is seriously brimming with brilliance!!!
As a drummer, 2:48 gets me GOING.
+TrickyBen
No, it does not.
+dontomaso11 What makes you say it doesn't? The simplicity? Do explain.
+TrickyBen for me its 3.05 and im not a drummer ahahha

these jams that are being cranked out are more phat and nerdy than two elephants racing segways.... straight up pure awesome
I cannot stop listening to this.
Great Music! Concept music is back no holds barred!
