Great as always! Thanks for posting. By the way, have you ever talked about how you came to join Snarky? That would make a great vlog if you haven’t done it already. Since you’re going through old footage/reminiscing these days... ;)
Back to when masks werent a thing :D I'm so stoked about more clips from this session! Thanks Bob, for every video you put out in the last time. It really is inspiring! Hope to catch you up live on some german stage soon! :)
Amazing! Hey Bob, I don’t know if you remember me, I was in GroundUp Festival (2019), that was one of the best days in my life! I was close to the coffee shop and when I saw you I couldn’t believe (I literally cried of happiness hahahahaha) I even took a picture of you and my MD. It would be lovely if you one day post the a vlog from that festival. Thousand hugs from Brazil!
I was wondering the same thing. But is that not simply the Garage Band project Michael League sends out to the band to help them get familiar with the tracks? I'm saying this because there's 3 drum kits on the project, and 3 drum kits on the actual album. I could be completely wrong though lol
Loved this, but dying to see those drummers lay stuff down on the next episode! Haha, maybe I'm biased. Keep up the incredible work. Hope you are staying healthy and creative.
You, sir, are a PHENOMENAL player! Haha! :) I have that the AKAI MPKmini as well. Great for mobile work, as you show (and I've been in the back of the car with it, myself). As I'm not a fan of drum pads, and the keyboard range is so small, I thought when purchasing it to assign the pads to C0, D0 etc. so that I can quickly select articulation layers in patches without having to transpose the keyboard or step-input the trigger notes. Thing I'm not crazy about with this keyboard is the gamepad joystick for controlling pitch and mod. The the center detent and spring resistance makes it useless for smooth mod wheel work on patches with dynamics assigned to it. So, I assigned the K2 control knob to modulation. PERFECT. Thank goodness for the MPK Editor app.
Bob, have you thought about live-streaming recording sessions? This vlog flashed me back to the Quartet recording night in NoHo. Feels so long ago now. That was a special night! Anyway, this video has me feeling amped up and hopeful for the future. Thanks so much for posting this footage.
Absolutely love the recording vlogs. I love seeing the inner and outer workings of getting a band this size recorded and the rehearsal processes as well. Also the saxophone gear nerd bits. Thank you for the great content, Bob!
Hey Bob, could you please give some advice on how to practice with the ideas that you've transcribed? It seems to me that, when I transcribe a piece, let's say a Jim Hall solo (I am a guitar player), I can't really get those licks and phrases come into my improvisation even though I can play them with or without record well enough. Thanks!
Did you do the concert in Florence already? It was supposed to be the 4th of september but I can't find any news on whether it happened or it got cancelled because of the virus
Bob Reynolds such great player the other guy real chip on his shoulders though when I heard his solo I understood better in my experiences Great players always great personalities the guys with chip in their shoulders normaly insecure and suck, listen to his solo understand better

Great as always! Thanks for posting. By the way, have you ever talked about how you came to join Snarky? That would make a great vlog if you haven’t done it already. Since you’re going through old footage/reminiscing these days... ;)

Dude is just casually producing beats in the backseat of an Uber...
That's legendary!

How come Lingus did not have all that fancy room separation and it's one of the best sounding albums in the world :D?
The production on that album is godly
Mixed well
In a few years this vid is gonna worth a lot of money...
Need. Episode. 2. 🤩
Thank you!
Awesome!
I'll never get over the section @ 4:50 - 5:45

That room sounds great 👍
Soo cool!!
I'll never forget, and isten to it still, your solo in 'Covered In Rain' a john Mayer song. You were absolutely brilliant! Well done! 💕
This is so cool 🔥🔥
Wonderful episode Bob. Anybody else recognize the cat at the end of this from the Xavi BTS video sauntering over the threshold? :-)
Oh that makes me happy and hopeful
Incredibleee!!
I am still waiting for part 2 😅
Yay keep up the vids
This great!!!
daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn
you know you're a big deal as a band when a studio builds a whole extension to their studio to cater for some instruments in your band

Sensacional 🤘🏾🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

The best little horn house in Texas?
Hahaha
What is that little keyboard you have?
Were you send charts beforehand, or was it a turn-up-and-play type deal?
Boomtown is SIIIIICK
Did you play the solo on shofukan at Royal Albert hall? Or was that Chris??
‘Twas me (‘Twas I?)
Bob Reynolds- thought it was you, that solo is fucking killer. Definitely my favourite solo over shofukan!!
Bob-Matthew McConaughey
so, you got out of the house to set the camera and then you entered the house again just to shot you getting out of the house? that's a funny thought
7:09 louis cole!
Its just such a cool place tho
This is great and all, but we know that the best things come out with ridiculous experience and a lack of practice
A 14 sordos con problemas mentales no les gusta esto? Pueden creerlo? 🤦 Grande Snarky Puppy! Saludos desde Colombia 🇨🇴
Oh, it is nice to have money! $$$$$$$
