Hi Kimmie, do you use a retinol/retinoid/retinaldehyde product? Cerave has a good one for drugstore. I'm using the Retrinal by Avene. I have terribly sensitive skin but they work for me. And do you know of a makeup removing balm that is fragrance free? I can't use anything with fragrance, especially anything with citrus oil in it. Learned that the hard way! Also, the Cerave night cream is more emollient and moisturizing for people who need something more hydrating than the Neutrogena Hydroboost gel. I love the hydro boost gel for my neck & decollate. I use it as a day moisturizer for those areas. Thanks! Great video!

Hello Style with Serena, I do use a retinol. I did a video on Truth Treatment and I had such a bad reaction to that line. I use a 1% retinol that does not irritate my skin Farmacy clearly clean fragrance free cleansing balm I have used and love I love the Farmacy brand! Let me know if you have used and thoughts on ingredients. I agree with you on the Moisturizing cream. The Cerave is excellent. I really appreciate your feedback. Thank you so much Serena for commenting!! Love your channel by the way!!!

Hey Kimmie! I had a dermatologist about 10 years ago who approved of both Neutrogena and CeraVe, along with Cetaphil. I've learned my skin responds very well to Neutrogena without breaking out, which can still be a problem for me at 55 years old. I'm surprised you didn't use any retinol, though. That's one of my go-to's.

Hi Nancy. Yes they are such great products. I use a Retinol just not every night. This video was a basic evening skin care routine. 😊😊😊 thank you for your comment Nancy. 😊😊😊😊😊 and your support !!

Good morning. Enjoyed your video! My skin is older, not as beautiful as yours. That being said…..I start with Ponds! Do you really think your first step is better. I don’t mind spending more, if necessary. Would love your thoughts.

Good morning Goldie42, I have nothing but good things to say about ponds. But yes to your question that first step is so important to break down the makeup and mascara. The point of that first step is to not strip your skin and cleansing balms like the one I showed is wonderful for that very thing. Makes the skin feel amazing !!!! Then follow that with your cleanser and ponds. 😊. Let me know if it helps. I can tell you it’s transforming. I really appreciate you watching and input 😊😊😊😊

@@prettyandpetiteover50 thanks so much for responding! So using Ponds wouldn’t replace a cleansing balm? I thought it could be an alternative? I Need more coffee!

I think the thickness of the cleansing balm will out perform the ponds in terms of removing and breaking down the makeup. 😊😊 girl I’m on my third cup of coffee. 🤣

Try a cleansing balm and whichever one you enjoy ultimately is the winner. I honestly can say it’s being consistent with whatever you do. Ponds has been around for a very long time and sometimes reinvented wheel isn’t necessary. Buy the balm and figure out what you love. Let me know 😊 what you decide
