Literally watch this show on repeat, they’re the best hands down 🥰😎
These two are hands down my favorite! Each bring very important unique skills and abilities.
David & Cody were Dual Survivor , it was never the same after them. If they started a new show between the two of them I would watch it and I'm sure millions of other Americans would too
That’s essentially the issue, the producers were happy to have them both but they couldn’t get along. I personally believe Dave was in the wrong and shoulda been kicked off but the producers deemed Cody almost on the show too long.
@Matthew Zepess fasle , david and cody got well together . David was fired because he added false stuff to his "credentials " . Joe and david didn't get well together
@@m7mdronaldo7 false, behind the scenes footy shows how much these two don’t get along
Angel T, False. The two of them are battle buddies fighting the porcupine army to this day.
@@brawndothethirstmutilator9848 False. The two was one became three then none
i love these two guys and whilst i respect both of them for their survival strategies, i'm in the Cody camp, if only for the reactions he provokes from Dave 🤣
This was one of my favorite shows. These guys were polar opposites but they were perfect for each other on this show. I’d give anything to see em together again
These two were the best!
cody is a beast
This is my favorite episode of this show
I like how these two tough wilderness men can comfortably hug in a moment of triumph 🫂
Cody looking like survivalist Sam Kinison over here
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed
I miss Dual Survivor with Dave and Cody.
Seriously like any of us are going to be stranded on an island 🏝️
Next time I'm in the woods, nothing but wool socks while the others do all the work.
Hmm, when they were cold on getting onto the island, why didn't they just get inside the life raft to warm up?
I'm actually disappointed with the blurring out part on skinning and cutting the animal up, if your out there to survive, show it all, apart from that, great show..
Dave's mitochondria has common sense
So you telling me all that wood around you going to use the boat paddle you don't make no sense🤔🙈🙈
Daul Next Video Hindi Sar
Why wouldn't you use the raft for shelter,?
so scirpted
The fact they had to blur a hunting and gutting scene saddens me. How soft are we that we can’t see how food is processed and prepared naturally.
Literally the only video I've ever seen that
all full episodes of Cody and Dave plz!
Yes, please. More D&C episodes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ABSOLUTELY .. more please. These 2 are the best . 🤠🖖 ♨️
I never cared if Daves history wasnt exactly what was thought. He proved himself. They proved themselves and they were great together.
It never mattered that Dave lied. In Hollywood, the 1st, 2nd and third rule of Hollywood has always been DON'T get caught.
@@Surprise_Inspection it kinda matters when the lie is dangerously close to being stolen valor and might be considered so to some so i completely understand why he was let go
@@greaseball9537it wasn’t that deep.
What did he prove? That he can cut himself? He lied to America!
Blurring the meat out is just pathetic
The early seasons of Dual Survival were something special. Even after all these years.
the greatest thing about them, is they let each other be them. both bring own skills and own mindsets. love the interaction
Agreed. Plus I love Cody’s sense of humor, he legitimately makes me laugh out loud a lot.
That's cause its fake. That guys feet would of been so painful he wouldn't be walking around barefoot in reality

Thank you for posting these. I remember watching these when I was 14 years old. Not having a care in the world. Now I'm 24 and remembering great times. I wish Dave and Cody would come back.
I’m also 24 and remember watching this show around 14-15 years old. It’s very incredible the amount of learning this show provides while also being entertaining
I'm nearly 24 and same.
I used to watch this show at my grandparents house when i was 14 bc they had directtv and i would drive the fourwheeler to their house bc i only lived a quarter mile down the road
Wish I was 24 lol. I'm 43 and was and still am working in the oil fields. Used to watched this on satellite TV lol
My son and I used to watch these guys and we loved them and would watch them again no matter what the bs was in the past
Dave and Cody were a great team because they worked well together. The other dude Joe was just garbage from start to the end. When he was team up with Matt he couldn't make it work and that's why the show didn't last.
Joe couldn't even catch a snake Cody was dying😂
This is my favorite survival show! Thank you! 🙂
Watch Les Stroud, at least he's legit unlike this show which is all fake.
@@LexyThomas134 I don't know about fake or not but I think this one guy in shorts and efin socks is insane.
Les Stroud aka Survivorman is the real deal.
@@TermlessHGWthis show is 100% staged ppl who have worked on it have said so and you can just tell.
Dont like how they blur everything out, as if snowflakes can't handle it.
When those two as the cast ended, the show ended. I get what ppl were upset about with Dave, and his military credentials, but I’d still like to see them do something together again like this. He has a channel, I found it a couple years ago, and Cody was on a podcast recently. They were complete opposites, but that was the point of the show, and it worked.
I do not understand the debacle towards Dave's military credentials, tf did he do?
To me he seems like a normal soldier, just like the ones I've met in Ukraine. I saw Cody lose his temper once in a short video
Cody is my type of hippy. Doesn't push unnatural 🐂💩 and veganism. Just harmony with mother nature. World would be better of with more ppl like. Quirks and all✌️
I miss watching this duo . Been watching them since I was 18 Years old. I am 30 years old now and I'm still here watching them in RUclips. 😢
30yr old with that pfp ion know bout that one
Let's be honest no white faces allowed on tv anymore RUclips only place to find any
been watching sense i was like 16 ..25 now
Since bro. Now I just turned 32 and I still love these shows.
how time flies
I would have used the life boat for shelter
Me too
More full episodes please!
Complains about how cold it is but doesn’t once zip his hoodie up all the way. Must not have been that cold
I grew up watching David and Cody, I actually really enjoyed what Cody taught us and I appreciate his love and respect to Mother Nature. I wish they would come together
All that time in the woods together I wouldn't be surprised if they had 😂

Squirrels sleep at night. They’re not nocturnal at all.
This is really cool for me as I live in Nova Scotia and I actually work at the port for the Earl Grey that “rescued” them.
@avroarrow9950, Hello Nova Scotia, hope that all is well with you. I was in the US Navy from 1973-1977. Have been to many places. One of the greatest was Halifax, Nova Scotia. In November '76. Wonderful port of call. We "manned the rails" going into port, which is all available personnel were topside in Dress blues. Only time I have ever done that on two ships. Would love to come back for a visit sometime. All the best from NE Ohio. Take care.
@@backpackingcapebreton not sure where they were. It’s not any of the well known ones here.
3 and a half minutes in and I can only wonder - why didn't they stay in that boat? It was shelter.
Dave: uses clam as bait
Cody: eats clam for main source of energy.
Dave: Eats raw porcupine heart
Cody: Cooks porcupine heart before consuming.
Wasn't this posted before?
@@bartluis5394 what’s there to be confused about? It’s a re-upload, it ain’t rocket science 😂
This episode was the first, iirc, and the only one when Cody and Dave really were in conflict. After this, they always seemed to have a basic respect for each other and accepted each other's idiosyncrasies. Enjoyed these two together. Miss the pairing.
No there was a huge conflict when they was at Iceland on a glacier
Last episode of season two, you could feel the tension between them. As much as I hated seeing them split up, based on the animosity in that episode, it's probably best they parted ways when they did.
Mainly because of Cody though. I get it's his lifestyle but it's kind of hypocritical in this situation.
my problem with this one is why leave the rescue raft... it is a shelter!!! has a roof, blocks wind and has a floor to keep them off the ground.
It could easily puncture due to the twigs or get poked or what not
The respect of this two for each other carried the series
They were polar opposites in their approach but that's what made them work
Daves lack of respect is the reason the show is no more
@@krawdaddy33 no it wasn’t.
@@krawdaddy33 Well he totally LIED about his past career and military experience. When you listen to him try to explain he sounds like a 9th grader.
This show was AWESOME. These two taught a lot of people valuable lessons.

Thank you very much for these full video uploads. I need these.
Dave and Cody were the best. I really wish they'd get these 2 back together for another run.
Cody and Dave need to reunite and do dual survival again
They Fired Dave for Lying about his job application he filled out , then they hired Joe ,
They would never hire back a LIAR !
Hummm? I would have used the boat as shelter and cattails for food..but who am I...lol!!
This was one of my favorite survival show and i loved these two..... After Joe came it was never the same and his gigantic ego didn't help at all...
These two guys were *the best guys* in Dual Survival. Later episodes, without Dave and Cody, were simply weak.
Definitely
Yup! We got trapped in a blizzard once and it was warmer after I took my soaked socks n shoes off! Didn’t seem logical but it’s a fact!!
Just wondering if in this scenario it would have been smart to take that life raft with you for some extra cover ?
That bright orange raft might be more useful left on the shoreline, where it would be much more visible to passing searchers.
It should have been parted out, so many useful things; Rope, tarps, water collection, ect. It would break down easily into something you could carry on your back.
@@qmedine1100 If you know that nobody is coming for you soon, then yes. But if you're confident that searchers are on their way and you only need to hang on until they get there, then keeping a highly visible object intact so searchers can find it may be more important than another water bucket. The intact raft will tell them you made it to shore, but if you chop it up into bits and drag it under the trees, it's gone forever. Every situation is different.
The best duo in survival shows. The views and time of upload explains how much people adore these 2s chemistry and energy
Maybe a little late, but the life raft was a ready made tent!
if survival shows were realistic, no one would watch them.
No survivalist here, but didn't they leave a ready made tent on the beach?
Granted it was slim pickings that Cody gathered and shared with Dave, but he did what he could to provide food and Dave showed little to no appreciation. On the other hand, Cody showed great appreciation for what Dave brought to the table. Dave could learn humility and behave a little more graciously. At least he learned something highly useful about making a warm shelter and gave Cody props for that.
To be fair, this was the very first episode of the show. It's the first time they do anything together.
I live in Nova Scotia 😂
I honestly hated this show. Too many conflicts amongst the guys, camera crew on set meaning the entirety is null and void because even if they don't share with the guys, they're playing a part in keep wildlife at bay, interfering with hunting ability.
Holy freaking ads! I'm trying to watch I don't mind 4 or 5 ads in a 40 min video but I'm at 10 a 1/4 through lol
Just get RUclips premium for free. I literally haven't seen adds since they added the trial. I have it on 5 accounts.
I wonder if the frost bite on the toes has anything to do with it being the furthest from the heart and a low priority for the blood system?? Also mankind has been wearing footware for over 10,000 years. Even slaves had footware
I agree. Also, before footwear folks only lived to 35. Not that this was all due to footwear alone, but none the less, people got wiser.... and Cody didn't ;P
@@johndough1966 🤣🤣
Yes, and that's when foot problems start. Our feet are NOT made for shoes .
But... we NEED shoes ! What do ya do ? I personally... wear shoes .
Gee they had great chemistry, if the producers see the thousands of comments saying the same they should tee up a reunion show, it’d be a huge success
Lol, the network borrowed the idea for this show from "dual survival" from less stroud.
He recorded a couple of episodes with "Bushman Bob" where he said "dual survival" more than once.
Cody really showed up to Nova Scotia with a beret hat. 😂.
Yea, he wore that silly thing a lot
This show was soooooooo awesome with these two guys! Absolutely respect the heck out of them. Both very different, but they were a perfect pair together. A wider spectrum of survival skills.
I don't understand the logic of going inland? Why wouldn't they convert their boat into a shelter? They didn't even take it with them inland. I would have stayed near the coast and searched for freshwater runoff and help. Going inland seems like a bad idea frankly
Edit: wrote this only a few minutes into the episode lol
Cover from the wind, resources inland.
My pap always said porcupine was the easiest meal if your stranded in the mountains. They are slow and easy to get and taste amazing. I can attest they are the best tasting critter out there. Seriously try one
This episode always makes me feel cozy and warm because their in severe cold fighting to find warmth.
Idk why no one like Cody , I mean I understand he’s stuck in his ways but he not holding them up … This guy and his other old co host hated him lol
They make Nova Scotia seem like a desolate arctic place lol
Cody is right. The human body adapts to what it is trained for especially with you grow up with it. If anyone would like to adopt to something new, it should be gradual and constant. Strength, Mind power, stamina, adaptation to cold, heat, hunger, etc.
The foot don’t adapt to a sharp rock that could slice open his foot.

The best part of this episode is the Mors Kohanski super shelter
I live in Nova Scotia. I also work in Nothern Alberta up to -50 C.
And trout fishing in the early sping in the damp cold is worse in Nova Scotia. It hits your lower back and it takes you out fast.
Jus left a tent, raft, to look for a place for a shelter lol
Paiute Deadfall against digging clams 100% digging clams every time
I don't care if people have their own way and teachings in living. Cody's lifestyle is something you have to grow up with while Dave is military, he was broken down and built back up to be the way he is. It clashes but it works, in a weird way.
Why the heck are animal parts being censored on a survival show? You see any hamburgers just walking around in forests?
Loved them two onscreen. I still follow them both to this day
You already have this video uploaded on this channel, upload something new!
Never noticed before but Dave intentionally shot that flare low. Dave and Cody were dual survivor
You can see that, practiced idiocy meets experience and practicality in this...this is why they shut Cody down, as he was a real G, and showed people how to be strong. But, this other guy, they bring Matt in later, and he's too nice to talk back on this guys idiocy...it's a better pairing for production, but not for reality. Pathetic humans will always talk down on others who are better than them.
Curious but could they have used the raft for shelter as well as the plastic tarp
I think they left it there because of the chance of it getting destroyed or being punctured by a tree
Legend has it the camera man is surviving on that island to this day.
Ummm they just left an inflatable shelter built in mattress with plenty of firewood where they landed
SHIPWRECKED this was the show all the spin-off's came from way back in 2001 i think it was or around there anyway, maybe even 1999 thats after the other 3 channel's copied then just wit different names all the other reality shows started popin up.
These survival situations proof in my opinion that we are carnivores and have been for a long…. Time , I bet the most disciplined Vegan if thrown into a real situation such as this would resort to meat 🥩 consuming and cooking 🥘 meat played a huge roll In our evolution especially the development of our brains 🧠. , imagine a Vegetarian trying to do this , let alone a flat out Vegan . 🤔
This was my favorite show and definitely favorite pair of guys. Man I miss this show, at least they still play reruns.
Don’t worry guys! The cameraman will save you!
Can’t believe they blur valuable survival info like gutting wild game. It aired on TV for crying out loud. Soft people these days.
Great episode
it's a little odd he didn't find a possum in Nova Scotia though 😂
Tell you the truth, I didn't think he'd find a porcupine on the island 😂
Why would you leave the perfect shelter like a life raft on land?
He's such a legend doing this barefoot
Its not on purpose, but our whole family seems to dislike shues, the best i can do is sandles. I can say from experience that its possible to walk on snowy ground comfortably with just socks. If i wear shues i start sweating, my socks soak through and i get cold pretty fast.
My whole family have pretty tough feet and legs they never seem to get cold
Amazing what some people will do for attention

that was fkng awesome what Cody did with the plastic and 'space blanket' ! And not only does it create heat, but it also keeps u dry. Genius.
VAEKKRIINHART You can credit Mors Kochanski for that, it was His design of supershelter!
