48:00 is a protostar, they form from nebulas (gas cloud) that are freezing cold and very dense after forming the ring around the protostar will either fall into the star or become planets and other astral bodies obiting the star

You can rename stars/planets by pressing Control-Shift-C and entering "rename star/planet (name)" while in the system/with the planet selected.
Doing so doesn't trigger the "Joker" badge.
I've been renaming the wormholes so I can remember where they go.
THAT IS BRILLIANT! I had one home world that was surrounded by wormholes and I could never remember which was which.
I've started space stage so many times... when he said the abduction was ok cause they were gonna treat him I was like "oh no, oh no, he doesn't know" you have to kill them all (the infected ones)

The cool thing about space stage is that you can visit your creatures from different saves.

dang.. i have not played this game since 2008 when it came out.. and i always stopped when i got to space .. cuz i played space for about 20 minutes and realized the space stage of the spore was not a good part of the game... but i'll see if anything has changed since 2008. i didn't know they still had a community that still played this game

I think you needed to upgrade your spaceship with the modules. Like the communication with other civilizations module, the better engine module and whatever the 3 other ones were before you can use them and that's why you couldn't talk with the city stage people. At least that's what I think

You should start a mythical creature series like next for centaurs
Please do kobolds in space next!!! (it would be fun to see how you can change up a kobold in spore since less is set in stone about them than dragons which was already quick sand)

it's funny that spore has a better loading screen when approaching a planet than starfield :D :D :D ...you can actually fly to the planet here :D :D :D
Well what'd you expect? Starfield is supposed to be an RPG, not a Space Sim If you really want smooth, seemless planet loading, then go play No Man's Sky or Elite: Dangerous, which ARE Space Sims
