- I didn't plan on using this barn find for an isle of man road race, but it was eligible and it got an entry... the only problem was it had been abandoned for so long and was in no state to ride let alone race. Did I mention I didn't even know if it ran?
All of this sounds like it might have been a bit much for a two month turn around - and if that was all we were up against then it might've been fine. But it wasn't...

My NC23 ended up frustrating the hell out of me with starting issues? It's been sat in the poly tunnel for years now, perhaps I'll drag it out again and give it some more love.

I’d bet on the carbs playing a part in the issue (I have no love for carbs)
@@UnrestrictedIsle Me and carbs don't get on either! The bike just seemed to be such an arse to work on because everything is so tight in the frame. Had other projects to focus/ spend money on... i.e track prep/ retro mod the 96 SRAD, that ended in tears! and now getting the 91 ZZR600 D1 back on the road ready for a tour of Ireland.

I had one of these cbr400 but think it was the earlyer one and im 6,1 tall i managed to get a john mcguniess type screen tall one from power bronze i think

It’s from Motaworld, 2K in a can that’s mixed to whatever colour you need - so no clear coat needed.
Once you pull the pin in the can it’s got a couple of days to be used or it’ll go solid… which is why the helmet got painted, the Jerry cans got painted and there’s some left from the R6 so the generator is in for it 😆
