My favourite stretch of tarmac, ridden it numerous times on all kinds of machinery at all times of the year. Took my new MV there last year for the Southern 100. That 800cc triple with quick shifter, auto blip, ride by wire suspension truly life changing experience…….can’t wait to get back this year……luv that mountain 😎😎😎😎😎🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍💙🇬🇧🇮🇲

Heard the bmw before I saw it. With it's clanky sounding engine.
Not dis just they all sound this way. Sounds clanky but rides smooth. Strange combination.

I managed 147mph on my Multistrada v4s over the mountain this year that was enough fun for me. Had a great TT. Missing it already.

Silly question but why is there no speed limit? Like in the Uk ?
It’s not needed or wanted. The UK only brought in their overarching national limit in the 70’s. It’s been discussed a few times but always met with resistance
@@UnrestrictedIsle yeah I get that but why ? What’s the actual reason? In the Uk it’s because of accidents but surely that means that the IOM must have more accidents or not?
@@pcarts232 I’m not sure, statistics are not very consistent.
We also have a lot of narrow winding roads which would be a pretty big factor.
Stats were released along with a map in 2019 - the only fatal RTC’s happened in areas with speed limits.
Speed doesn’t kill, complacency does 😁
