- The USS Discovery merges into the Mirror Universe yet to find that there is no Federation but a Terran Empire. The Captain, the crew of the USS Discovery must change uniforms, computer displays and hull name to the exact Mirror to the other Discovery known as the ISS (Imperial Star Ship) Discovery.
StarTrek Discovery is owned by CBS, CBS All Access. - Наука
"Well that's not very clever." - One of the best one-liners of the entire season.
Microcosm for the whole show really.
And now they've inadvertently confirmed that they were lying all along about it being in the same universe as ENT, TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9 and VOY... It's all happening in the JJ-verse, and not even in the JJ-verse's "prime" timeline... Yep. That's right. Discovery and by extension Picard is all happening in the Kelvin timeline.
@@GabbieTheFox nice
@@CancerMage yet you watch it. Hmm maybe you need a hobby
The Terran Empire music was awesome, especially when it plays when Georgiou takes command of the Discovery, i smiled at that, the crew had to be on thei rtoes with her in command
Some people may not have like Star Trek discovery but I actually love it. The technology look and feel of the ships and the storyline gives it a unique take on the Star Trek universe. I hope that they continue on this path because it really does look like the 23rd century only imagine with the 24th would look like if they redid the Next Generation
have you not heard of star trek Picard?
Saru: "captain killy... Well that's not very clever"
* *captain Killy literally eats you* *
Mirror Universe was the best thing Discovery had going for it.
Watching the transformation from Tilly to Killy was incredible. She had so much more confidence and poise.
Yes she did, as long as she stayed focused on who she was portraying to be, she did so much better. But she has such low self esteem of herself. That gets in her way a lot. If she really tried staying focused on who she was portraying, then she did so much better.
Then the next time we visited, we got the real Captain Killy, not sure Tilly would've been able to pull that off.
Everybody Loves Killy!!
Was a great episode
I want to see the real captain sylvia tilly (killy) in action
In sto there is a story ark focused on killy but you might to have to be a gamer and Disco fan to actually enjoy it
@@IvanGarcia-xy7bf actually you dont, the game is designed to basically level scale now and its VERY new player oriented (end game stuff is crap)
She's DEAD during combat by the ruthless Klingons.
lol here you go
LOL watch season 3
I wonder how many corpses Killy had to climb over to get to captain? I figure at least enough to crew a starship or two.
Just one. She killed the captain.
Keep what you kill.
Apparently according to an STO mission that I don’t remember the name of right now, she killed the player character after the death of the former captain at the hands of the Klingons, so technically she didn’t kill her captain.
@@starmada105 yeah one of the TFOs says she did it with a spoon.
Long Live Captain Killy
Everyone you get to act like the mirror crew, except Detmer you stay out of sight.
"But I..."
"And no talking. The same goes for you, Owosekun, Airiam, Rhys and Whatever Your Name Is."
Rest of the Bridge Crew: -_-
@@kevlonk Damn shame because Mirror Detmer's hot.
I would Follow Captain Killy anywhere, Long Live the Empire!
We never got to know the real Captain Killy, just Tilly pretending to be her
This was defo one of the better parts of STD and something idm revisiting
I am reminded of a game on the PS2 and XBox called Star Trek: Shattered Universe. The Excelsior and Crew (under Captain Sulu) end up transposed with their mirror counterparts, and they must pose as the mirror Excelsior while they make their way to their only potential means of returning
You mean captain Sulu the Excelsior was a 23rd centry ship captain Sisko was from the 24th.
@@SR71ABCD Edited and corrected. I meant Sulu, I have no idea why Sisko came out. Finger memory I guess, as I tend to talk about DS9 ad nauseum :P
I'm glad i'm not the only one who remembers that game! :)
@@Gondorian04 not the greatest game, but I did enjoy the story and the atmosphere around it. Plus, 23rd Century Movie era is my favorite :D
I’ve only managed to finish that game once, it’s brutal
It's nice that the Discovery crew were allowed to return to their home universe. The prime universe really wasn't for them.
Also like how even the Mirrorverse went through the same uniform change as Discovery between Enterprise and TOS. And both arrived at the same conclusion like "this metal theme sucks and looks terrible, let's never do it again".
Long live the Terran Empire.Humanity united.
Terra Firma
Pretty ironic that humanity united way later in the mirror universe thab it did in the prime universe.
liked the mirror universe ...all they needed was q.
Ya, I wonder what the Continuum would be like in this universe
@Spookssga, wiped themselves out long ago I would imagine. My question is what are the Borg like. A bunch of humanitarians who’s only goal is cure all illness, end all wars and devision, end all death by using nanotechnology and a hive mind.
We are the Borg, please let us end all your pain and suffering, resistance isn’t very nice.
@@backupplan6058 "We are The Borg. Come join us! 😀" !
Maybe in their Universe, they don't abduct people to assimilate, maybe people _defect_ to them.
Their Battle of Wolf- 359 could have been to stop a group defectors who were going to _meet_ The Borg , there!
Locutus could have been a public relations, recruiter liason, who spread info about The Borg across subspace channels and tried to get people thinking about how joining The Borg would make their lives better and happier.
And they probably got slaughtered at some point
@@TheNoiseySpectator So basucally a UFP with cybernetic.
S01 and S02 were great ...
Poor Tilly you look so pained, but damn you make one hell of a dominatrix
It wouldn't surprise me with Mary Wiseman that she is IRL. I mean she's slept with both men and women.

Captain Killy 😍😍😍😍
What if in the mirror universe you’re totally built with bulging muscles but you let yourself pork out in the normal universe? How do you fit into the mirror universe in those circumstances? I know I would fail miserably 😂
Maybe blame it on losing someone I loved?
@@steveleeart But...they don't love
@@LinkTardis no they love but don’t admit to it. If I did tell someone why I got fat it would likely be just before I run a knife through them lol
I would love a death where captain killy would just use me....mmmmmm...
I would love a Star trek series based in the Terran Empire.
Sooo kinky!
Me too
We are now ISS DIscovery? You weren't even Discovery for 10 episodes! And three of those Burnham mutinied. Discovery confused plot twists with drama.
I think I will watch the mirror universe episodes of discovery
Hate to break it to you: mirror universe shenanigans are a major ongoing plotline... not just a 2-3 episode arc.
Sounds good to me
I envy you then. Not my cup of tea at all. These sort of things being the meat of the story in season 1 does not bode well imo.
CaptJPurdie i always wanted a show on the terran empire
Love you, Captain Lilly!❤
ALL HAIL TERRA FIRMA!!!!!!!!
Killy? You know what happens when you take out the y
I like captain Killy.
Let’s just pray to god it works!
So I haven’t seen much of STD other than most of the first season I’m pretty sure, is this the same mirror universe that was in Enterprise? The emblem looks similar which I why I ask.
It's the same mirror universe as in Enterprise, as in TOS, and as in DS9.
i llowet whar charptewr is it
??
I figure that this timeline is different cause a group or someone mess with timeline that include the mirror universe with their advance teleology for 2256
one thing that does bug me of the episode.
it should be ICC-1031
ISS=Imperial Star Ship (memory alpha)
@@CaptainSovereign Thats where the name of the ship goes. I am talking about the registry and its name like
"NCC-1031" - Discovery Registry
Dark master The ship name changes from USS to ISS, but even in The Original Series the registry number does not change, not even the NCC part.
It seems they overlooked something, after all.😞
@@TheNoiseySpectator Nope. NCC was not changed to ICC. This only occurred (to my knowledge) in error in the DC comics' "Mirror Universe Saga". But this was also the same comic where the same ship appeared as a constitution-class and an excelsior-class in different panels on the same page. A Terran ship would have an NCC registry on one page, and ICC on another. Hell, some ships had nacelles longer than the hull on one page, then the hull longer than the nacelles on another. There was very poor quality control with regards to anything but the character illustration. It has been my one continuing gripe of virtually all Star Trek comics.
I wonder if The Borg exists in this universe
Interesting. Suppose people __voluntarily_ join the Mirror Universe Borg, and they are all happy together, just like the opposite of our Borg?
Non canon, no. They never had the chance to evolve from their parent race since NX-02 COLUMBIA kept close to home, cutting down insurgents.
@@Nighthawke70 What does the NX-2 feigning off Invaders have to with The Borg failing to evolve?
@@TheNoiseySpectator If you read the Destiny book series, you'll find out that COLUMBIA was shot back in time during an altercation with the Romulans, and makes first contact with the Caeliar, which does not go very well. This also depicts the origins of the Borg, being warped Caeliar merged with humans. With the mirror COLUMBIA not meeting with the Caeliar, this prevents the Borg from being created.
Ugh, I hate time travel.
@@Nighthawke70 I see....
Well, no I don't.
Who are the Caelar?
Which Columbia, The NX-2 ? The one with Vena that first crashed on Talos IV?
I don't get this entire sequence. It helped them for all of 5 minutes and they all went back to normal afterwards and no one worse their ISS uniforms again.
Empire Uniforms only for the arrival and in the presence of the Empress.
The series are too serious. Characters are not developed. No funny moments.
Why did they make the Michael character so damn unlikable?
Because character arcs are a thing?
The Thing is a Super hero From D.C comics, not an alien from Star Trek.
@@TheNoiseySpectator Not that kind of Thing.
But that is what you said .
Did you mean like "John Carpenter's The Thing"? .
Is STD now ripping off them, too, and Burnham is slowly being consumed by a mimic?
Which one? I imagine the mirror universe Burnham would be very pleasant and friendly
"Well that's not very clever" perfectly describes the entire show.
Inverted Mirror Universes, pra something like that, is the most stupid e lazy ideias ever.
ok, the general quality of STD is subbasement-C below par, but DAEM Mary looks HAWT in that outfit
Just like evil Willow on Buffy.
Trump belongs here.
