I agree on both the box toppers and the LM stuff. Bandai really showed what they think of the western consumers with this release. Hopefully things get better for bt16.
Maybe some people already has enuf cards, and other people who never open any box or pax b4 would enjoy those, but maybe the cards r supposed 2 b art pieces as well. I understand what u r saying tho u want some new super juicy milk cheese gaming mode meta defining cards.
I got a box today, I need a bunch of the good LM cards but mostly got random stuff in the regular set that I didn't need. I dodged all but one of my SR wants. It was difficult to get a full playset of any one common or uncommon. My SEC was Apocalymon because of course it was. Goodness people give me your LM luck you don't want, I need Amphi and Regulas and Quantum.
I told myself that if I could buy 2 boxes at pre-release I will, but they were all bought out. So now I'm just going to focus on buying singles. I hate the LM cards being in this set.
Personally, I think the LM cards should have just been a box topper in the box. Something like either a 20 card pack or two 10 card packs (one of each card per box), that way there would be more than enough in the market for everyone that wants them. They even could have just had a pack or two (or three maybe) of 12 random LM cards as box toppers, that could have worked as well.
The LM cards in this set really ruined this set for me. Extremely sad most of my SRs were trash Ghost Game cards lmao. Bandai needs to do better for ppl buying boxes.
Fun fact: Joe is only kid not to have a solo memory setter out of the OG kids. Also Sora is not good in anything but her own deck. In that you can do some neat things to get advantage. Unfortunately the bird cards themselves aren't the best so the advantage doesn't amount to much.
I wasn’t a fan of the LM being sprinkled in, but since it’s going to be a few months for the next set I don’t hate it that much anymore. It means my entry/prize packs probably want be complete bulk 2-3 weeks after release….still not thrilled about it lol.
I won my prerelease and won every round 2-0. I left my prerelease with alt art apocalymon (feels bad), alt melga, alt gabu, and alt bt8 Rapidmon. The dark masters were too good not to play imo, but I got lucky and pulled two piedmon and a machinedramon. I never got to use the DM effect to put another DM in my raising area, but when piedmon came out and I could blow up something and check a security, it was game changing every time. I’ve been thinking the box toppers have been lame for a while now. They have made it a waste of a pack. I was excited for the gabu support but with double gabu hits back to back, if got to figure out something to make it unfair again. Lol.
@@Poogimuns It was a prerelease tournament. We had to build a deck of the cards we pulled from the prerelease packs. It was basically just a mess of lv 3s, good lvl 4s, and lv 5s with some of the dark masters and generic lv 6s. Meteor wing and celestial arrow were really strong too.
I know your pain. I have all of the Legacy zords EXCEPT the Dino Megazord. By the time I realized the Legacy line existed and started picking all of them up, the Dino Megazord was already several hundred dollars. Sadge.
Deck list 2 win my locals? Maybe a budget friendly list 2 if the super gaming mode deck is super expense? And my opinion on the cards is that they looks really cool and fun and am new in digimons card game and would like 2 play the game. Might be annoying but that’s the truth some people got no idea or opens kajillion boxes all the time.
Also, sometimes people builds decks that’s not optimal cus they only get like 1 box and I think dats interesting. But am very interested in ur opinion on most op decks rn budget friendly and no budget 2 win undefeated in local.

Problem with that is that the LM cards adds a third secret rare to the box

After separating my LM cards and seeing how many of the same cards took away from BT15 spots…..I’m back to not being a fan of it being sprinkled in 😂
For me
I want Gabu line
Gammamon line (Maybe other ghost game LM?)
Loogamon cards
Maybe Biyomon/Garudamon Ace
thats all

Hey let me get this: for BT boxes we get always 8 SR / 2 (AA+SEC)? And for EX you can get 10 SR/ 2 (AA/SEC)?
