Gillette is picturesque! The drone shot showcases the village set in the heart of verdant mountains. A good place to escape to during a brutal summer. Pretty sure that the rule in France is that to prevent overtaking accidents that if more than five vehicles are behind you then you are required to pull off the road at the earliest opportunity to let them past.
They are so fascinating these small villages. It would be interesting to rent a place there for a year or 2 to see what it's like living in a place like that.
Yup they intrigue me more and more. I imagine winter could be tough and a bit isolated. But they are really not far from Nice etc. I love escaping to them
what it would be like after two years is that you'd have legs like my mums dressing table and knackered knees, assuming the heart attack didn't get you first that is!
Maybe you guys should look into building one of those cooler air conditioning units. You can use a small cooler that can give you about 3 to 5 hours of cold air. If you like I could post a link of the more efficient ones so you can build a smaller one that fits it the car. It will definitely bring the temp in the car way down.

Great videos! Have considered air conditioning? Here in the USA you can buy a cheap styrofoam ice chest, fill with ice, cut a hole in the top, then place a fan to suck air up through the hole. Better than nothing! Do you have bags of ice at gas stations in France?
French Taxi drivers, pretending as if they dont know what a Sans Permis is since 1959. Either that or they were a bit drunk or, needed a tiddle. Probably all three.

Hello from Germany again. I used to fill my empty days without Ami/Rocks E with watching your channel. Now after 4000 Kms in my own "Rocks E" i still enjoy your adventures.. What is the artists name and name of the song in the beginning? Llove it.. Thanks an keep up with your wonderful work...
So glad you have one! It’s by the devils sway
First visit to Nice a few years ago without a mobile on hand the taxi driver kept my credit card as I was juggling oversized luggage (the bike) . Before one could quickly cut it off online. But moving on - who is the musical artiste? Can't decode her on the search engines.
It’s the devils sway
Ah yes, 'Gillette, the best a man can get!' Ad altiora!
It hits 40C outside where I live. Sadly makes me think twice about an Ami
It’s an issue no doubt maybe not a defining one but a serious consideration
the "wasp" was actually an infamous asian Hornet, at around 20:10
No!!
Pretty sure that the rule in France is that to prevent overtaking accidents that if more than five vehicles are behind you then you are required to pull off the road at the earliest opportunity to let them past.
Be a bit tricky on this road and we were about 200m from the point we could Ie the village
Love Gilette! What a cute village. What navigation app do you use Mr. Boo?
We use chargemap pass for chargers and the Carpuride CarPlay system we feature on the dashboard
I agree with you about the taxis of Nice
I don’t normally generalise like that but I decided to leave it in because it happens too often!
Beautiful village of Gilette! What navigation app do you use Mr. Boo?
Carpuride and apple or Google maps
They are so fascinating these small villages. It would be interesting to rent a place there for a year or 2 to see what it's like living in a place like that.
Yup they intrigue me more and more. I imagine winter could be tough and a bit isolated. But they are really not far from Nice etc. I love escaping to them
what it would be like after two years is that you'd have legs like my mums dressing table and knackered knees, assuming the heart attack didn't get you first that is!
Superbe guys.
Merci!
Merci please share with anyone you think might enjoy. Helps us
Magic.
Thanks
Any battery problems in that heat?
Nope although on the way back when we had to park in sun to charge it seemed to take longer but we were in the floor by that point
Men, I have to say I very much miss your Wednesday vlogs.
It’s very hard to produce two a week every week without going slightly crazy but more Wednesdays to come..
I know it must be a challenge, I just wanted to let you know that you are missed on Wednesdays.
Keep up the great vlogs could be a new film Another Close Shave
Indeed
Maybe you guys should look into building one of those cooler air conditioning units. You can use a small cooler that can give you about 3 to 5 hours of cold air. If you like I could post a link of the more efficient ones so you can build a smaller one that fits it the car. It will definitely bring the temp in the car way down.
That would be great
@@MeandMonAmi hi, I hope you find this interesting, maybe it would make a good video lol. These links I'm including uses big ice coolers. You guys should use a cooler the fits in the car or even on top of the PowerBank. Once built properly this should give you cold air for the duration of your trips. Here are links to 2 different designs. ruclips.net/video/aXIYc1KmsbQ/видео.htmlsi=KliRxtYtsVChxt4k

I hope these gets you interested. I have tried making these and they work great especially in small rooms. Hope you guys have fun building them.
@@thetzar Thanks. What a great idea though I’m not sure we have the tools to manufacture such a thing but it would be fun to try…
Wasn't the earthquake in Gillette, Wyoming?
Ha no there was actually one here
What a lovely place Gilette looks ❤ must have been bloody hot on that day in & out of Elton 😮🌞🔥 what is it with some people when they get behind the wheel 🤔 absolute arse hole that taxi driver & good yo see it got him bloody np further on than Elton!!!!😂😂 great looking food & excellent drone footage! Loved the usual humour & enjoyed the 'toilet humour' 😂😂😂😂excellent Mister Me & Mister Boo minus Twiggy 🐶🐕 stay well & obviously stay charged 🎉
it’s a glorious place and despite the heat unforgettable
Hi Tim, I think you got a bit carried away with your suggestion the Gillete safety razor blade was invented by a hirsute Gilletoise, sorry it was in fact invented by an American called King Camp Gillete! Nick
I’m not sure I was being entirely serious at that point
Great videos! Have considered air conditioning? Here in the USA you can buy a cheap styrofoam ice chest, fill with ice, cut a hole in the top, then place a fan to suck air up through the hole. Better than nothing! Do you have bags of ice at gas stations in France?
We've tried solutions like that but the temp is so high they have virtually no impact sadly..
Why do you not show the town name being typed in to the sat nav? It would be much better
Lol. Holding it off.. sometimes we do
Donation of a fiver, personal. Didn't like the " Stripe " payment method. Still loving the vids %-)
Thanks Nick
How did we charge to get back home?
If only we’d vlogged it. We found a supermarket on that 90 road and sat in the blazing sun for 90 mins. By that’s stage will to live had been lost…
Just out of interest, do you pull over & let cars pass if it's safe to do so?
Yup
Get alot of idiot when out in the ami.. how do you regenerate power in the ami. I was told you can’t do it in the ami…
Totally can. Check out our regeneration video
Everything is closed coz they are napping daaaaahhhh lol 😂 allo anyone there 😆???
French Taxi drivers, pretending as if they dont know what a Sans Permis is since 1959.
Either that or they were a bit drunk or, needed a tiddle.
Probably all three.
True. Most other drivers are fine
mr Boo likes sausage, does he?
Never would have guessed
I have to say, I don't find much of the food that you consider delicious, very appealing at all.
Give me a home made pie and mash any day.
No peas?
Is France like the Mexico of Europe. Seems so so so hot all the time.
No but high summer is increasingly becoming heatwaves
Expensive taxi she was driving too but yeah not very ladylike , I would expect the women in the UK to act like that lol but not in France
There’s some v expensive taxis round here!
Don’t let the insignificant actions of others overpower your intelligence. Let them pass. They are living a miserable life. Don’t allow them to make you miserable no matter how briefly. 💙🤍❤️
