    Thanks for explaining in such detail! Looks awesome. Trying to decide if I’m willing to put in this much work for my own house😅

      The concept is easy. It just depends on what you need to do to get the hdmi cable from point A to point B. If you set up your device near the projector it’s super easy. Glad the video was helpful!

    nice idea for hanging the projector. i have a celling fan in my living room. so i was thinking of moving the projector closer the wall so the celling fan wouldn't interfere with the projector. plus im gonna have to move the surround sound receiver closer to the projector. thnk i'll do a shelve too mount the projector then another for the reciever.

      The shelf has worked out well for me. It’s a good solution in the right circumstance. I hope your build goes well!

    Hi can you tell me did you use the software keystoning at all? I read every where that you should square up the image without use or keystone (lens shift is ok) I am just having trouble getting a squared image with mine, but it is sitting on the shelf a little bit above the sitting position not upside down on a mount

      It depends on the projector. This projector only has the keystone in the software. It is adjusted through the menus on screen.
      My previous projector was adjusted manually.

    The projector says it’s output is 720p, how can I get it to project in 1080p as described? Thanks!

      My guess would be that it just automatically detects the quality of the input device. Maybe your input is 720p? I have personally never changed it in the settings. I just connect my device (PS4, laptop, switch, …).

    problem is that most regular homes don't have dropped or suspended ceilings

      Yes, there are different ways to do it. At my previous house, I mounted the PlayStation and the receiver on the back wall next to the projector instead of under the screen.

      Typically in basements. To finish the ceiling without trapping all of the utility pipes and wiring behind drywall. It’s been in the last two houses that I’ve owned 🤷‍♂️. I love it. Finished drywall would be a nightmare. I would have been completely screwed dozens of times.

      @@HowtoandReviewsOfficial hey while I got you here, I happen to be about to remove projector from ceiling mount to rid it of large black spot it's projecting....do I just take it off like I put it on or do I remove projector completely from the mount?

    • @HowtoandReviewsOfficial
      @HowtoandReviewsOfficial  Год назад

      @@metaldreams3595 whatever is easier, but there should be a way to leave part of the mount attached to the projector. There should be three or four screws attaching the projector to the ceiling mount and you should not unscrew those. The ceiling mount should have some kind of bolt or mechanism to split it or remove it without unbolting it from the projector.
