Finishing the mci bus that ended up needing a lot more work than i anticipated.
I'm truly sorry about Lance getting rid of his buses. I hope they all go to good homes.
Hey Lance= That made my day, I'm going to miss it.
Lenny looks great!
Impressive but sad sight to see that Lucky Dog Convoy pulling in. Humbling. I hope things turn around for you Lance!
That sucks for Lance. He has so many beautiful old buses.
Sucks is an understatement - lol - onward and upward - 2024 will be my best yet!!!
Sad to see Lance's busses go , hope he keeps big mack for his own use. 20 hours into 2024 here in NZ so hope all goes well for new years with you all. Looking forward to the 2024 videos. Safe travels. Ken.
Big Mac is the one we ARE considering keeping - drove it yesterday from hangar to home - is a great driving bus all around.
Indeed a busy year, but with much success! Congrats, Scott. Wishing you and everyone a Happy New Year!
Prayers to Lance!!
Prayers work and I VERY much appreciate it !
Lenny looks fantastic with the repaint.
Man this bus handles amazing, I could feel the authority this thing had over the road through the video, great job.
This bus was eating those hills for lunch holy crap
Sorry to hear about Lances business , hope he finds another project
That bus is purring. Loves the attention you gave it.
Bus ASMR! Gave me a flashback durring school, sometimes we would get to ride one of the nice bluebird buses home. Ahh that new bus seat interior & diesel smell YESsss...😁✌👍
Ahh Lance sad to hear about the company. One of the reasons I joined this channel was you and Scott working on busses prior to 2020.
Yes it’s very sad.
@@BusGreaseMonkey What happened?
I gather the struggling economy didn't help with Lance's business, sadly...
@@TruthProvider What are you talking about? Jerome Powell, Federal Reserve Chair, stated that this economy was the best in 40 years.
@@Guillotines_For_Globalists LOL... Bidenomics is working is all read?? Are we being lied to? LOL
Those torque tubes were a hellLATIOUS project. Congratulations Scott and crew on a great job and positive result.
Great power now Scott! Be curious as to that temp gauge issue, keep us informed as to what you find👍
Happy new year to you and your family Scott. Been watching your channel for a few years now and can’t wait for the next episode . From an avid fan of your work. Take care and stay safe.
I don’t have RV or Bus, but I surly enjoy watch your videos. So much I did not know goes into proper maintenance of these machine, you have so much knowledge.
Will always love the channel as well as I'll always want a bus that is not a short one lol 😅 Lance's buses would be a good choice especially because because # hey Lance's
Hi Mr. Scott, yes you guys have been busy, and Mr. Lance, I really feel bad for you, i know how much you loved your buses, so maybe things will lighten up next year.
Good work on the MCI bus, sounds great and I bet it rides much better now. Happy New Year
super powerful bus.. i would be proposing owners upgrade to one or more gauges as well a digital gauge. some really clever and reasonable kits around these days
I really don't know how you guys do it Scooter. You get so much done!
Would love to see a video on the beautiful property including how you discovered it. Congrats on all the success. Best wishes for 2024.
Happy new year to you all, love this channel, keep up the great work Scott and family
Catting this late, and Lance closing up shop?!? Okay, going to drop VinWiki a line or two about archiving Lance's story and all the buses' history.
I will love to learn how to repair those nice buses
Love the channel Scott. ALL THE PROJECTS and work. I must have missed Lance's story? So he had a number of busses that you will liquidate on his behalf? Im in the tristate area of North GA. Would love to visit in the future. Plan on bus shopping soon. Thank you and Happy New Year to you and the crew!
I have high hopes for 2024, Time will tell. Happy New Year to Everyone. 😊
Happy New Year to you all from the UK.
Happy New Year 🥳🎉
I could never imagine Lance's business model functioned.
And I tried..
There are a lot of party bus companies out there. They really started gaining traction in corporate transportation in the industry. Weddings etc way better than a limo. It had lots of potential.
The overhead with all the buses was probably the deal breaker...@@BusGreaseMonkey
@@2packs4sure The overhead wasn't the issue - was a bad business decision I made in late summer 2023. Details will be coming when the time is right. 2024 will be my best ever.
@@luckydogbus2317 Interesting, can't wait to hear it..
Happy New Year! From "Calender Man" in Sweden /Ronny

Remember back in 1990 riding an Mci bus from Melbourne to Brisbane in Australia, company named Anset Pioneer bus lines
Lenny looks great.
Enjoy ur work & video's..Happy New Year bud
Happy New Year!
How many buses have you drove through that town since you’ve been there thousand or more? Thanks for the video Kentucky
Seemed to shift better while flat out
have a happy new year 2024
I wish I could buy Lance's 4106. But I haven't a place to put it, and other interests are using up my time.
we are thinking Miss Bud will be the first to sell. Hate to see her go.
@@luckydogbus2317 I am sorry all this has happened. I hope you make a good recovery with the sale of the busses and prosper in what venture you undertake from here.
Just wondering, where is Tyler now. If I missed something l am sorry. Hope nothing is wrong.
Tyler tired of mechanical work and returned to Indianapolis to pursue new interests.
What is it about the transmissions in those MCIs that make them so loud? I remember that sound well from riding in them.
Happy New Year
Good job
How much of fuel is the capacity of the fuel tank ? How many gallons?
Most buses are 120-140 gallons. But we had one with 240.
keep the clips coming
How do we get in touch with Lance or find out about the buses he is selling? Very sad to hear.
The buses will be listed soon - there are 7 being sold - 6 custom coaches ( 4 MC8's, a MC5, and a 4106) and a seated MC9 too. Also have another bus (surprise bonus find) I bought last summer I need to go get from Ohio. Reveal to be soon.
Is there anything that can be done to stop the cabinets from rattling so much.
Yes. Felt or cork type sticky pieces. You can eliminate virtually all rattles and squeaks from interior parts.
@@BusGreaseMonkey thank you for your response
I've noticed that some conversions have a lot of road and engine noise (MCI). On your channel, I have heard buses that are much more quiet to resemble traveling in a luxury car. Would you address engine sound, whines, tires and road noise, etc. That would be a good talk. I love busses, trains, etc.
A lot if the whine you hear can be from the power steering system. Also sometimes from the air conditioning system. Some busses have a hydraulic driven condenser fan located forward on the drivers side.
Dude you have like the longest outtro on RUclips!
It’s my favorite song.
If you’ve been watching long enough it’s a nice thing
I am kin to the tribe that builds MCIs. 🤔😬
O M G step on it.
The auto transmission mission shifting up and down with the jerking tug tug tug , is this normal?
No. Recommended a trans service new fluid and filter synthetic fluid recommend. That should help. Strict transmission maintenance regime going forward.
You said somebody selling his buses, so how do you get a hold of him or you to buy one? What is the email or phone number Kentucky
I cannot follow any of your "projects". It's one extreme to another. Why can't you start and finish just one ?
Unfortunately the only time we have for projects is our after hours and weekends. The canopy can’t be finished until the bucket truck is done. The golf cart is done, the sawmill is setup and operational. We got a lot going on.
By the way I’m willing to bet $1 i get more large projects done than oldcomplainer does.
@@BusGreaseMonkeyFully agree Scott.
it's just hard to follow is all
@@BusGreaseMonkey
You you tubers almost beg for comments. My comment was meant as constructive criticism. No need to get defensive ! I handled many projects when I could. I'm 70 now so, not too many projects goin' on. ....oldodger not olcomplainer.@@BusGreaseMonkey
