@@dignitaslolThat's why you use it as a creative way to reveal it to them at the end. Also for a little bit of revenge on Gaker's behalf, to remind them how Faker dominates them lol Since they called him bronze and gold and plat and diamond etc haha
i don't think that's fair. i've seen koreans pros, probably including faker, do these types of videos and they consistently get it wrong too. lower tier players have better mechanics than people think, it's game knowledge that makes the difference.
Santorin analyzing Faker is like a moderate chess player looking at supercomputer moves. The moves look stupid but in actuality the supercomputer is beyond his understanding.
no, it's more because playing on lan with all the pressure and money on stake makes you play a bit differently than when it's your average ranked game from the comfort of home, pro players in a lot of games make questionable moves
Just proves that they actually have no idea what to look for to compare players' skills. They don't even know what low elo or high elo looks like because they failed to see that they were all high elo games 🧐.
bro they really said ''silver, gold'' ON A CLIP WHERE EVERYONE KITES PERFECTLY :DDDDDDDDDDD WHO KITES LIKE THAT IN LOW ELO??? They dont even do that in emerald XD and little no to wasted movement too. And that galio clip? They literally said SILVER?? While galio uses perfectly timed stopwatch + perfect skillshot dodge by cancelling pathing. You dont even see that in diamond games unless its a scripter. @@CraftRavens yeah because they only play in high elo. When they travel riot gives them RIOT ACCOUNTS. which means their mmr has insane boost to begin with. They start playing from platinum-diamond and get as much LP as you get in placements if not even more
This idea is just brilliant, love it! I am surprised that they didn't recognize the bonus clip because that one was pretty well talked about back then!
What sells it to me is the reaction timing and follow-up of everyone. On the Akali clip 1:16, after Faker commits, he gets instantly stunned by Viego, the Senna from his team Ults to aid him, Alistar Q to knock him up and flashes away, and after Faker himself flashes to chase Alistar, Viktor's E follows him perfectly, almost like a script. No way in hell this sequence would occur even in a Diamond game, much less on gold or silver.
@@elrumstoke in that clip there are also 4 pink wards placed within one screen which is pretty much a giveaway that it's not even a solo q game. But its hard to notice when you are paying attention to the fight.
@@Belegor: Yeah good observation. I think these guys have the problem that they only ever see high elo games or something. I'm low elo, so I could immediately tell these were high elo games because none of my games ever look anything like this. Even just the way all the players are moving, it's like their movements are too smooth. When he said "this could be bronze or challenger" I was like... no my man, no it could not.
Pretty crazy that seeing a 5v5 top with lvl 10-13 people didn't ring a bell, silver players would never have that kind of fight, honestly I don't even think any rank would have that kind of fight in soloqueue, this is a obviously a full teams game
It was such an enjoyable video HAHA. To their credit, some of the plays in isolation don't necessarily seem super flashy/oohchallengerlevel, I think plays usually get elevated because they're happening in a professional game against players of the same calibar, so many factors beyond chasing kills matter (like wary of enemies in fog, prioritizing certain champs/objectives over others or even just buying time for the team). Hope to see other orgs do similar content too!
Yea and to be fair to the guys we removed any piece of info that would give away the level let alone it being Faker himself so it was super tough for them but they took it like champs
The only giveaway I can see in the Akali clip is how immediate, if not predicted, the Viktor E was. Viktor knew that Faker was going to go for the Alistar, and I think that shows a high level thought.
they missed a lot of things.. the alkali/zoe clip could NEVER be bronze - ppl in bronze can't move their mouse quickly enough to wiggle around or flash that quickly in an opposite direction of the last click
dragon was in 1:10 so if faker probably wanted to save ult for a fight around that. his team was gunna dive corki at t1 but once corki was running to t2 he realized he had to chase
Yeah but without context it's impossible to know, we're watching from the perspective we already know it's Faker... but in their mind it could be some bronze Akali
@@Milxnotrue, but keep in mind that you already knew it was faker before any of the clips started rolling haha. And I don't think all pro players follow international events that they're not attending or have been knocked out of, so it wouldn't surprise me if fans are a lot more familiar with plays like that than the pros are.
Bro lol, there is no WAY that galio clip is silver and there is an easy way to tell. Even in plat and diamond I would say like 50% chance they both get it at best.
just goes to show that one of the biggest things between high and low elo is game knowledge. Without being able to see the cs, rotations, and info leading up to trades and teamfights, you can't accuratly asses a players elo
Ok but actually, how do they not know this plays? If it was Faker's solo queue plays I'd understand but these are some known Faker plays, how can't they spot them?

I feel like this is a game of showing off ego of Santorin, he only rated 1 play high elo, when hes watching LCK games that are played just simply at a higher level than any of the pro matches he's ever been apart of, but he can't recognize it or he is unwilling to say that it could be a level of play that is higher than what he is capable of.
