i like how other characters throughout the story find out about mike's secret through their own plots and have personnal conflicts , and then we have donna who knows through a phone and has only one line that doesn't even last a second

So he wasn't going to do that. The reason he had that look on his face is because mike just gave him an Idea on how to strong arm Jessica into getting his senior partnership back using the same tactic which is what happened right after the scene. But yes he also was reminded of what an asset mike would be.

Yeah, the series lost its mojo when Mike left, not Rachel. Rachel was a supporting character, and a replaceable one at that. The show revolved around Mike and Harvey. That was the relationship the viewers were invested in. While Meghan was a good actress during the run of this show, she turned out to be more of a Rachel Zeigler in real life. lol.
I think Mike represents “every man” who believes himself to be smarter then his boss and cleverer then everyone around him and always believes himself to be the smartest person in the room. A person who, if given an opportunity, could rise to the level of importance they deserve. And that is why we have television shows that are escapist, and where people have superpowers or people who have photographic memories and have passed the bar just randomly wonder into an open job interview for an associate. I think The Firm is more accurate and law firms seek graduates who are in the high percentile of their class. I also liked watching Dougie Houser MD when I was young, but never believed he was a real doctor
I think mike is the everyman but also eh not the idea of escapism ur referring. It can be for as a motivator for those to achieve above and beyond and really showcase something if they truly believe they do but i think its more about people who have talent or potential yet society or their circumstances or even themselves dont allow it to flourish. Harvey giving mike that opportunity, that escape from the life he had gave him the chance to really show his stuff and be the person he was meant to be

Does it stress anyone else out that the pearson hardman wall is grey in this season but in all the others and the supposed flashbacks it’s the normal wood colour?
In this episode, the pilot that is, they filmed it at a real law firm in New York City. When filming, they slapped their own branding on the wall. The name of the real firm is online somewhere. When they shot every episode from there on out, they filmed in a sound stage. This is why if you look at the lobby, it’s different in this episode than in every other one as well. Specifically here at 0:04.
I never get enough of this show especially Harvey oh my 😍 he is the real class act wto him the whole thing would not work ! And Gretchen she is another great one that people forget ! She was hilarious in all the parts “ my heart is black “ her eyes rolling 😂😂
Pilot episodes are almost always standalones that are shown to the networks and then if the show is picked up, they film actual seasons at designated locations. So it makes sense that the first episode has a lot of different looks than the rest of the show going forward.
I really liked Rachel, Donna and Jessica. It's like Jessica on-Top, then Harvey, then Donna in between Mike and Harvey, and then Rachel in between every Mike and Louis. Bunch of mediators hierarchy.😅

The opening season of Suits was filmed in NY. All other seasons were filmed in Toronto. A studio was created for various scenes and the Financial District near Bay & Adaliad St. was also used for various scenes.
As Mike noted, Rachel perceives she is as good and wise as any attorney within the law firm. Such a perception is not only unwise, but also, foolishly ignorant and artificial.

I used to like rachel as a character and thought I would as a real life actor but once she joined the victim-hood and tried to relate herself to the BLM movement all respect went right out the window

You have got to admire how consistently annoying rachel was from the first episode till the very end. Just talking about her being paralegal and what she can do right from the first second

Facts don't support your opinion. The spin-off Pearson starring Gina lasted one season, even with Gabriel's guest appearance. Seasons 8 & 9 ratings plummeted even after Patrick's return. Meghan wasn't the star, but the team chemistry of Suits suffered from her adjacent storylines to other characters - and Gina Torres.
