In this video I show the process involved in Removing the Airbag, Removing the Steering Wheel and Removing the Indicator Stalk assembly. After the indicator stalk on the Peugeot 107 went faulty for the second time, I decided to replace them with a new unit.

Great video - thanks. One note - if you don't have angled pliers then you can undo the two nuts holding the speedo in place and just nudge it out of the way to get a top down grip on the clamp.
Managed to get an OE quality one from Parts in Motion in the UK for just £33. Febi Steering Column Switch 175142. Possibly the best part of our car now 🙂
Nice one. Great price that 👍🏼
I wasn't sure whether or not to attempt this, but your video seems pretty straight forward. Even buying a couple of the required tools makes this much cheaper than a trip to the garage.
Great video, so much information. Changed stalk on Peugeot 107 and this video made it so much easier to complete.
Top tip was leaving the nut on when removing the steering wheel as it comes off quickly and could hit you in the face.
Well done.
Awesome. Happy the video helped. Thanks for commenting. Atb Dave
Great video, off and fixed in just over half hour!
Perfect. Thanks for the comment. Atb Dave
Brill video, thankyou!
Only thing I did different was removing the 2 bolts for the speedo as I only had straight pliers and it gave me a better angle
Great video. We had the same issue with our daughters Peugeot 107. New indicator £22 from ebay and following the video job done in about an hour. Many thanks
Awesome. Glad to hear you got it fixed. At a bargain price too. Thanks for the comment. Atb Dave
Dein Video hat mir beim Citroen C1 sehr gut geholfen. Ich danke dir! 👍
Happy to hear it helped. Thanks for commenting👍🏼 Dave
Thank you for the tutorial, the aygo is fixed and my mother can drive safely
Awesome, thanks so much for your comment. Glad you got the fix done. Atb Dave
Absolutely brilliant, thank you!
Many thanks
You are welcome
Great video and saved me a garage bill. Thank you.
Awesome, cheers for the comment. Atb Dave
When you reinstall the steeringwheel the torque specs for the central bolt is 50Nm. And the spec for the airbag bolts is 8.8Nm. This info is from the Toyota Aygo manual.
Thanks for watching and cheers for the info. Atb Dave
Excellent vid, thankyou. Managed to change it today no problem
Nice one, thanks for the comment. Atb Dave
Thanks for this. Saved a lot of money doing it myself. Cheers
Cool, glad it helped, thanks for letting me know. Atb Dave
Thanks for the video mate! Helped me hella lot! Need to do the exact same with my wifes Aygo!
Cheers for the feedback, glad to know the video helps. Atb Dave
Great video nice clear close ups thanks.
Thanks, happy you found the video clear enough. Atb Dave
interesting that it failed on your car at 21k miles, my 5 yr old 107 has done 25k miles and developed the same problem, your video makes me confident to replace it myself :) thanks
MikeyJ All the best with your repair, glad the video gave you the confidence to do it. Thanks for the comment. Atb Dave
Thank you that was exactly what i'm looking for👍
Glad to help
Just replaced my indicator stalk on my 2010 C1. I was really uneasy about doing it, until I watched you,re video. Thanks for your help, it was like having you on my shoulder!!!! The only extra thing I did was to undo the speedo pod. It gave me lots more room to access that horrible spring clip. overall a bit fiddly but your video made it easy. Thanks once again. Pete
Awesome to hear Pete. A few folk have said about undoing the speedo pod, wish I had know that when I made the video. Hopefully people will see it in the comments though. Thanks so much for commenting and glad the fix went well. Atb Dave
Thanks very much for the informative video. Does anyone know the torque value for the 19mm nut on the steering wheel?
Ha, I followed these instructions and it went smoothly, other than a few uncertain moments, like not having a 19mm socket, only a 21mm socket. I found it much better than an earler video where the bloke said there was no need to disconnect the battery as he had never had an airbag go off. for the sake of that possibility, considering how much work otherwise is concerned, it was not an issue disconnecting the battery. Further, I had a go at looking at the contacts on the old one and determined that its probably futile trying to clean them as I could not even get to them. I only paid £21 for my replacement, but recalled a few years back they were £60 odd, so I assume hey have gone down in price. However, on another note, I sat on the fuel pump in the back whilst fixing something and the metal cover popped in and snapped the plastic fuel line. I glued it back with superglue but figured that would not last long, so theres $30 gone on that, simply because I wanted to fiddle with something that didn't need fiddling with. I did think I would have to write off the car after the indicator stopped working, assuming that it would be really difficult to fix, but job done.
That's fantastic to hear the video helped save the car from being written off. £21 was a bargain price. Yeah is a bit futile to clean contacts as they dont last long before you need to do it again. Great to read your comment. Thanks Atb Dave
Thank you for putting this up. Took clock off to gain access to clip. All good. Made a puller to get steering wheel off as didn’t want to damage threads plus I have no friends to help 😂😢 ps got stick from eBay £12.
Thanks for the comment. Glad the video assisted. I actually used a makeshift puller the last time I did this job, deffo helps. Great price on the new stalk. Atb Dave
I have now installed my new stalk and the indictors work, but on one side the indicators don't cancel automatically after turning a corner. Does anyone know if generally this is something on the replacement stalk or is there something else I need to look at ? thanks
So I've just found out off my Dad that this car has the same issue with the indicator not cancelling when turning left. Dunno why he never mentioned it earlier. 🙄 I rarely drive the car so didn't know it wasn't working. I'm not sure how the self cancelling feature works but if I find out I will let you know. Not sure if anyone else is having the same issue. Atb Dave
Thank you very much!!!
Sweet - guys like you ans videos like this is what the internet should bee all about :) Did this yesterday to fix my indicator and it works like its new :D:D :D THX alot!!!!
Thanks for the kind words, awesome to hear you fixed your indicators. :D Cheers for taking the time to comment. Atb Dave
You shouldn´t buy any chance have a video on how to change the Alternator on a Peugeot 107? :) My car sounds like an old cat, and guys that knows alot more about car than me, are pretty sure that it is the alternator.
Sorry I don't have a video of that, I've been fortunate enough to not have to do an alternator on the 107 yet. This video may be of help if you haven't already seen it. ruclips.net/video/hFRPaMjiSc4/видео.html All the best getting it fixed. Dave
Cheers thx alot :)
Really easy job thanks so much for the video
Cost me my time and £12.99 for the part
Great price. Thanks so much for the comments. I really appreciate hearing how the video helps folk. Glad everything went well. Atb Dave
Using your video I managed to replace the indicator stalk with ease. Thank you so much for your help, I think you have saved me an expensive garage bill!
Your video was extremely easy to follow and your step by step instruction worked perfectly.
Perfect. Glad it helped you out. Thanks for the comment it's good to hear all about all the successful repairs. Atb Dave
Hi great video, what are you doing when you are putting a thin line marking up where the steering wheel goes on the spline? I cant see what you are doing ?
Thanks Robert. I just used a thin sharpie pen to scribe a line across both the wheel and the shaft. Doesn’t necessarily need to be thin just a mark across it that you can line up later.
Great video. Replaced the indicator stalk on my pug 107. Excellent instructions. Only thing I did differently is when replacing everything I orientated the clip 180 degrees to allow access from bottom. Much easier now to remove, especially if you don't have fancy angled pliers. Thanks you so much! Chris (from Manchester)
Went everywhere trying to buy some and then had a genius idea 💡.
Move the speedo out of the way.
The very reason I am watching this video
Thank you very much. But what a palaver to get out a faulty switch. Citroen should be ashamed of producing cars all having the same fault.
Thanks for the comment, glad to help. Yes it is an awful design, both for the contacts of the switches going bad and the amount of disassembly needed to replace/repair it. Atb Dave
Just replaced the stalk on my daughter's 2009 Aygo. All went well thanks to your very helpful video. Job done for a £55 replacement from eBay and one happy daughter. Many thanks
Hello thanks for the video very helpful brilliant camera work, did you use a genuine main dealer part?
Thanks. I ordered pary off ebay, the link should be in video description. Hopefully link still works. Atb Dave
Very helpful video. Just a few comments on problem I had with the job. Couldn't get steering off with hammer so bought a cheap puller www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000WTPJKA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 did the job fine. Removing and fitting the spring clip, I found I needed 2 hands to remove the stalks & a helper to compress the clip. Also, I noticed that the commutator ring for the air bag and horn has limited 5 turns, so it is important to make sure it doesn't rotate when you remove it, because if you don't have enough turns left for full lock you'll smash it.
Not tried it, but when you compress the spring clip, maybe use an old fork to keep it compressed, then you can use both hands to move the stalk assembly.
Great info, thanks for sharing. Atb Dave
perfect description, made the job a piece of cake, many thanks for taking the time to post the vid :)
Great video … easy to follow
Thanks
Thanks. Happy you found it was easy to follow. Cheers for commenting. Atb Dave
Quick tip for anyone struggling to remove the little screw underneath. Using a no2 Phillips head (not pozi) locate the driver carefully in the head by feel. Give the back of the screwdriver a few little taps with a hammer, then push up firmly an turn the screw. Tapping will shock loose the thread.
Thank you. My mum's little C1 has the same fault. Needs MOT so I will attempt the cleaning to see if it cures it for now and order a new stalk.
I thought it looked like I had to remove the wheel. Modern cars hu🤦♂️
Brilliant assistance, I am a qualified HGV mechanic but without this video would not have dared tackling this job.... I too have cleaned and greased the old switch and will replace if it shows signs of failing again. Clearly getting warm and melting the grease exposing the copper contact which goes green (probably due to the damp these cars suffer from too) 58 plate Aygo sorted thanks to your excellent informative help, sincere thanks.
Great Video , thanks. I fixed it, saved aprox. 200.- €; even If you are hard to understand for a German.
Thank you for the comment. Happy you got it fixed and saved a lot of money. Atb Dave
very clear, i fiddled with electrical connectors for a few minutes as video didnt show where to apply pressure. This improved my indicators but I think they contacts in the plug are still damp and should have cleaned these when it was all apart .
Thanks. Really got the job done. Apart from that, the airbag opened with removal of the cable, hurt like shit but at least i know it would have gone off at impact.
Great vid. Any ideas about airbag light all of a sudden flashing 107 2006
Cheers, not 100% on airbag light but check electrical connectors under both front seats. These can sometimes get dislodged and show an airbag fault. Failing that It really needs to get the system scanned by a garage or someone with an SRS scanner. Hope you get it figured out. Atb Dave
Nice video, about to go into my peugeot 107 soon to fix that (blinking lights not working/sometimes working)
Might be a bit late to the party. would replacing the stalk help my issue which is, both my full beams and dipped lights have stopped working. When I turn my light on the full beam light in the dash comes up even though I don’t have the full beams switched to the one position TIA
Sounds odd, guess it could be a stalk problem. I honestly don't know though. Hopefully someone can help you out. Atb Dave
TIP Take the two speedometer bolts out and move up a bit to get better access to that clip and WD40 the old one on the ring it goes over the steering column as it's sticks on.
Yes very well made!! Ready to do it on my 107! Thanks !!
Hope all goes well. Thanks for the comment Atb Dave
Really useful thank you .. clear step by step guide, I would never have attended it with out your help 👍
The problem I got is the LED isnt blinking in the dash, but it blinks fine outside lol.
So I've discovered a lot of 107s only have rear fog lights but the model I have has front and rear. I can find a lot of cheap replacements with just the rear fog light switch but none with both. I'm thinking about trying the rear fog light only switch and just not using my front fog light. Do you think the part would work? The stalk seems identical from what i can tell apart from the extra switch position for front fog lights...
Yeah mine has front fogs too and I fitted the single rear fog indicator stalk. Stalks with the both switches can be found but last I checked they were still nearly £200. My front fogs don’t work anymore but could easily fit a separate dash mounted switch instead for them.
@@playing_in_trafic great! Good to know. Yeah I'm not about to spend ten times as much just for the front fog switch if the rear only switch works. Getting one delivered tomorrow, hopefully I'll finally get it fitted and working
@@merlin9240 Yep that’s my thinking too. I figured if needed for MOT I’d just remove the front fogs. All the best with the replacement. Hope all goes smoothly. Atb Dave
@@playing_in_trafic yeah the MOT was my only concern if this worked. But i assume since front fogs aren't a legal requirement, it won't fail the MOT even if the car should have them right?
@@merlin9240 Yeah. If they are on the car at the time of the test they are supposed to be operational but if you remove them it won’t fail because as you say they aren’t a legal requirement. Mine obviously never gets them checked. 😏
Really appreciated your video. You saved me going to the garage (which would have worked out over £200 inc parts!).
I’m pretty useless at DIY and motor mechanics, but this video made it really simple. Took me 1.5 hours, which is 2 hours less than I thought it would!
Can’t tell you how appreciative I am! Many thanks.
My tip: leave that red tab on when you fit the new stalk, and use pliers to pull it off (matron) once you’ve got it on.
Awesome, glad the video helped. Thanks very much for commenting and for the tip regarding the red tab. Atb Dave
Thank you for the straightforward video instructions in replacing the indicator stalk for peugeot 107, they were easy to follow 😀 and you have saved me money by doing it myself. Pleased I chose your video, thanks again 😀
Thanks so much for your comment. It’s great to hear that the video helped. 😊Atb Dave
Thanks for the video, was very helpful. One point I would make is that it's possible to fit the spring clip that locks the switch assembly to the steering column at the bottom, ie. turned through 180 degees - there's more than ample free room there to accommodate the clip, and it's so much easier if you have to reassemble the switch assembly again (I did, as the cleaning of the contacts on the indicator wasn't successful the first time, I had to realign the moving contacts to ensure proper and secure connection - nothing like doing the job twice!).
Thanks for the comment, that will make it easier. Yes I too was on my 2nd repair, if a jobs worth doing its worth doing twice haha. Cheers. Atb Dave
Thanks SO much for this tutorial. Step by step it was clear concise and VERY helpful. 🎉
Cheers for the comment. Happy you found the video useful. Atb Dave
it's always nice to get into a modern car and say 'Wow that's really nicely designed...it looks great'...then you realise how convoluted it is when you want to change anything... xD ..still a good video though :)
Cheers. This car is has so many issues with bad design, crappy parts and water leaks it's unreal. Got a gallon of petrol and a match to fix anymore faults. lol Atb Dave
lol..yep i know that feeling.....and as for those Torx head bolts..it's a great design.. but the introduction of the security pin in the middle remains an insult to me!! xD
Yeah I like the Torx, I use a lot of Torx head wood screws for stuff and they work way better than Phillips head.
Do not forget the crap water pump on the C1 also had to replace the starter motor on my daughters C1. Now I have to take the steering column to bits.
Thanks for the help.
Great information video❤
Glad I found this video. Took my time and completed in under an hour. Saved a garage bill. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. It's always great to hear the video helping to save a trip to a garage and the associated costs involved. Atb Dave
Top Video BUT don't remove the RED clip until the stalks are back in place, no pliers needed to refit as the RED clip is holding the clip to make the job easy Lol the RED clips can then be flicked off with a screwdriver.
lol Yeah that makes sense, cheers.
Thanks Dave, just repaired my wife's using your tutorial as a guide. Working fine now. Only real problem was replacing the lower small phillips screw and washer, a bit of a fiddle.
The garage quoted best part of £300. The replacement part and a T30 driver cost me £65. Bargain - thanks again.
Awesome, glad the video helped. Wow, that garage quote is scary expensive for what essentially is a half hour labour and the cost of the part, certainly worth doing it yourself. Nice one, cheers for letting me know how it went. Atb Dave
OK on that Mike, glad you had it all going once more. Looks a bit scary but think will have a go after checking the video. Both indicators on my Aygo blue have ceased, so i'll bite the bullet soon. £300 sounds a right rip off ....Thanks again
Good luck Phillip, Dave's video is very clear, I did struggle finding the "three tabs" to release the black ring, but you will find them if you look closely.
OK on the tabs Mike, as you say the video is really spot on, just waiting for part and T30 and will go for it. Good to see all the positive feedback here with a lot of guys giving it a go, a real confidence booster for sure. Cheers
The tabs were located OK after a couple of minutes :-) (the lower two)
at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock respectively. Thanks A real confidence booster, doing the job...recommend it to anyone
Finally, a video that gives a closer look at how its done!
Thank you, I'll use this video while I'm replacing mine.
Thanks, hope your repair goes easy enough. Atb Dave
Excellent tutorial, did it in an hour, would have taken me days without your help.thanks
Great to hear!
Thanks, this was really useful. I am definitely not a mechanic but managed to change out the indicator arm.
Some additional comments that might be helpful.
1. The steering wheel is not always difficult to pull straight off as my nose can testify!
2. A lot of seller are actually selling refurbished units not new, I got a new unit from Bradgate Motors in Rotherham
3. Do get the long nose pliers with angled head as I am not sure I would have got the metal ring off without it.
4. I had a problem get the metal ring off because one side was flush to the plastic and couldn’t get the pliers around it, I solved it by taking the wiper arm off in situ, and then taking off the facia from the speedometer, this gave me enough room to get at the metal ring.
Overall, a relatively straightforward forward task. What also helped was typing up instructions beforehand and taking photos at each stage.
Again great blog.
Thanks for the additional comments.Oh dear, hope your nose isn't too flattened. Glad you found the video of some use. Atb Dave
Very helpful Richard, thanks for the pointers, hilarious comment on no.1, will take care there. Like yourself will be taking photographs at each critical stage. It proved invaluable once when taking apart a laptop :-).....I suppose it'all subjective so will see how it goes. If anything it'll be a valuable learning curve added with a sense of satisfaction.
Thanks for the video sorted my daughter's car in under 30 min top man.
Perfect. Great you got it fixed. Thanks for the comment. Atb Dave
I have just waggled the lever up and down rapidly loads of times - it seems okay now. The car has hardly been used for about 9 months - and I had found a water leal issue with the high Level Brake Light. Spare wheel well with loads of water in it. That is fixed now. Daughter borrowed the car yestersday and reported the problem. I am hoping it is down to lack of use.
Yep I had the water leak too. I reckon the added condensation in the air must be what causes the corrosion on the contacts. Hopefully your fix does the trick. 👍 Atb Dave
Great video 👍🏻👍🏻….needed a refresher as I’m just about to replace our 17 year old AYGO switch, for the 3rd time in 15 years 🙄
Great to hear it helped. I just did this one again not long ago and had to watch the video to remind me. haha Atb Dave
Cheers, I just used your video to change mine. Just the job. Getting the steering wheel off though, I was beginning to think that wasn't happening...
Thanks for commenting. Aye the steering wheel can be an arse. Sometimes really easy, other times really stubborn. Happy you got it done. Atb Dave
There loads of them on eBay different prices, from 5 - 80 quid Just wondered what you bought? Thanks
Unfortunately the link for the one I got isn't available anymore. However I doubt you can go wrong. I suspect they are all the same just priced differently.
Just be careful with the clock spring for the air bag if it rotates too much can be an issue. Nice nice vid...........👍
Good call!
Fixed,thank you
Great to hear. Thanks for commenting. Atb Dave
Great to hear. Thanks for commenting. Atb Dave
Silly question, but does the indicator side come out in the same way that the wiper stalk comes out?
Unfortunately not, it would make this job a heck of a lot quicker. It is fixed from what I remember.
Yep just like the other comments we'll done nice and clear and quick and easy as need to do one of them for first time
Thanks, I appreciate the comment. Atb Dave
Thank you so much for a Great video.I bought a new indicator stalk on ebay for £74 good set of angle nosed pliers on the market for a fiver, good torx 30 screwdriver for £2.90 on ebay. Took me an hour from start to finish.Going steady taking photos on my camera phone as I went. All went well, thank you again. You saved me 200 quid. Cheers !
Thanks for posting this, it gave me the confidence to go past the airbag which I was especially nervous about. Stating the torx and nut sizes helped me to have everything I needed for the job at the start although it would be useful if you could also add the 'M' size of the threaded holes on either side of the nut for anyone who might need to use a puller. (Mine just wiggled off). Only problem I did have was getting the stalk assembly off the column, the circular metal spring holds down a plastic latch at 12 o'clock on the plastic ring on the stalk assembly - it keeps the assembly from coming off the column and it needs to be lifted up by inserting a screwdriver horizontally from the right hand side while squeezing the ring with the pliers in the left hand - easier to do if you have a helper. My local garage is good but they would have insisted on a genuine Pug part (~£100+) and no doubt an hour's labour whereas thanks to you I was able to do this with a third party stalk, cost £20 as I write this, and a bit of my own free time. Thanks again.
I've ordered a new stalk. But even if I were to just clean it, would I still have to take apart the wheel?
Yeah you really need it on a bench to clean it as it's fairly complex to take apart and reasemble. So either way you would need to remove it which involves removing the steering wheel.
Good videoo!!! Thanks a lot!!! 🙂
Great video, wish me luck as I am now going to try to sort the wife's car based on your help. Had this fixed at the garage once before (about 3 years ago) at £250, not happy then certainly don't want to pay out again :-)
Hopefully you don't need luck but I'll wish it anyway. All the best and good luck. Thanks for commenting.
Excellent video with a clear detailed procedure for replacing the the indicator stalk. My 59, 107 had a cable tie to keep the wiper washer stalk secure so just needed to drill a small hole in the replacement indicator stalk to enable a replacement tie. All back together and working fine. Thanks very much.
Sooooo much easier to watch someone do it than trying to follow written instructions....
#icheatwithflatpackfurniture
Your video has made my mind up to save few quid and have a go myself.
Really helpfull. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
Thanks am on this job the morn for mother inlaw
Didn't look to difficult thanks for your help

Thanks for taking time to do the video help me immensely couldn't have done it without watching it mega & thanks again your a star.🤩
I have to replace indicator stalk as I have the same problem on video.Great video that's put me at ease doing the job. Cheers
Mine needs replacing
Need to do my daughters indicator stalk this will definitely help.
Thanks
Great video. My indicator stalk was doing the same and now the indicators wont engage at all so looking at replacing. However only thing holding me back is that the hazard also arent working??? Checled fuse and changed and still not working. Would stalk affect hazards??? Or does this mean a different problem to stalk replacement ? Thank you v much
Hazards are separate but also another common fault and I have had to fix them. Unfortunately I didn't make a video. However it is fairly simple fix by replacing (or dismantling and cleaning the contacts on) the hazard light switch in the centre of the dash and from memory that was around £20 off ebay. Does take a bit to figure out how to get the dash apart but there are videos on here that show it and it isn't complicated.
@@playing_in_trafic appreciate the reply thank you. Bizarre that they went same time. Battery died recently so perhaps that influenced it. Thanks again
@@juanryth9787 You are welcome, hope you get them fixed easy enough. The suspicion when mine went at around the same time was condensation building up in the car causing corrosion on the switch contacts. Atb Dave
We found that guide to disassembly & replacement very helpful. The replacement part fixed the problem. Looking at the indicator stalk, we will probably split & clean that later as a spare part.
Very helpful - thanks
Hi as planned followed your video and did the whole thing in just 2 hours, no issues, no stress, you are an internet hero for putting this up :-) Job done with new part from eBay for £20!
Wow £20 that's great. Thanks so much for your comment. I'm so happy to hear how much the video has helped everyone who has had this fault. Glad it all went smoothly. Atb Dave
Can anyone shed some light on refitting the clock spring as I broke mine replacing the indicator stalk did I just tighten up the wheel to much or does the clock spring have to be positioned In a specific position any help would be greatly appreciated.
Not sure I know what you mean, but hopefully someone can assist. Atb Dave
Fantastic Video. Watched three times, job took less than an hour. This video gave me the confidence and also I referred to the video again during whilst trying remove the spring clip holding the indicator / wiper stalks. Without his video I would be easy over £100 down on labour costs.
Your Gent Sir, A True Gent
Wow, thanks for the super feedback. Glad it helped get the job done easily enough. Appreciate you coming back to leave this nice comment. Atb Dave
Very helpful video. I was able to remove the indicator stalk from my Peugeot 107 open and clean off the corrosion on the contacts with a Dremel, a light smear of dielectric silicon grease to help prevent it corroding again, reassemble and refit to the vehicle. Working properly again! Thanks, this saved me over £250 quoted at the dealers to replace the indicator stalk. Fantastic!
Enjoyed the video, following this I had the stalk replaced and all back together within an hour. Before finding this I watched a 40min video with a guy saying that you can only buy genuine Peugeot parts which is expensive. £40 off Amazon and an hour of my time vs fiddling with cleaning contacts is a no brainer because as you said in less than 10m you've done that and you have still had to take all apart and replace it.
Glad u got the repair done easy enough. Appreciate you taking the time to come back and leave a comment. Atb Dave
This saved me a lot of time. Thanks for the video 💪
Glad it helped. Thanks for commenting. Atb Dave
Well, My son had a faulty indicator on his 2010 107. This video gave me the confidence to go do it. First time i have ever done something on the cars beside oil and washer fluid. The longest bit though was getting the steering wheel off. Thankyou .
Glad it helped
Okay, is there some trick to getting those T30 screws loose, they absolutely will not budge on mine at all.
No trick needed but using a T30 bit in a ratchet drive is prob easier than a screwdriver type. They shouldnt be that tight though.
@@playing_in_trafic Thanks for replying, I finally got them loose by gripping the driver handle with a pair of vice grips to get more torque on the twist. Boy they were tight. All done now though and indicators working again. Thanks for the video, it was invaluable.
Perfect. Glad you got it all fixed. Cheers for commenting back. Atb Dave
Thanks for great video. I have just replaced the indicator stork on my sons 2006 C1. I couldn't have done without your excellent video. Thanks
Thanks so much for the comment. Glad you managed the repair, very happy to hear the video helped you out. Atb Dave
Watched your video couple of times and saved time doing the same on my 107 and lot of garage bills so thanks for excellent video ta.
Cheers for the comment. Glad it went easy enough. Atb Dave
Brilliant video.I don`t normally do car repairs but this was for my sons Peugeot 107 and saved him a lot of money. I followed to the letter, fitted a new part and it was a doddle. Thanks for this. Richard
Awesome to hear Richard. Glad the video helped. Thanks for commenting. Atb Dave
After changing the stalk, the high beam goes on when I connect the battery again. The ignition is off and I can't shut the high beam off with the stalk. Any toughts?
If all connectors are properly connected it sounds like a faulty stalk.
