My favorite bass player! RIP Eugene Wright.
I'm fairly new to jazz and was instantly drawn to the classic Dave Brubeck Quartet. It's a real treat to watch Eugene digging in hard here and that slight buzz where he's really going at that groove is just sheer bliss. I totally get where you're coming from. RIP Eugene Wright!
In all the videos I've seen of him playing, he never looks stressed. He's just along for the ride of a wonderful groove.
Remembering my Dad 🙏🏽as a pianist, he played this music and it was magical, I close my eyes and what beautiful memories. Now he is creating music with all famous musicians ❤in heaven.
Fantastic Eugene Wright!!!
Excellent!
oh the ending! incredible bravo
All night keep it going 💚💚💚💚💚
Fabuloso este cuarteto!!! no me canso de escucharlos.
Dave Brubeck best modern jazz
I think of "modern" jazz as bebop or fusion, which I do not like. This, I love! Even in odd times, this is a thousand times better than bebop or anything else called "modern".
