You seem to be confusing the term 'supporter' with 'cheerleader'. Somebody being positive for the sake of being positive is, as he describes, a happy-clappy. At least this guy is showing passion for his club. If the players out there right now were doing the same, then we'd likely be in a lot better place. He's actually right in so many ways. He's probably being a bit harsh on Haaland, but the reality is that we're playing with ten men when he's marked out of a game, and that is every time we play a big game. It's far too easy for good defences to do and we've made ourselves so reliant on him that when he's nullified, so are we. I agree with the assessment from the man before him that we got through the last two seasons more by being serial winners and having the mentality rather than being brilliant, or by being as brilliant as we were. Poor recruitment over a number of windows has left us with a very thin squad and we've not had a long term vision to back up the stars who are now past their best. Many players signed over the last two years simply aren't good enough. If we are being absolutely honest, there isn't a player apart from maybe Dias from yesterday's line up that would get into the team from 2017-19, and I include Haaland in that, because I'd take Aguero over him all day and every day. Those players who are there from that era are, unfortunately, on the wrong side of their peak. Unfortunately, we've decided to build everything around Haaland and it's ruined what made us so special. We were at our peak when everybody in the final third was fluid. mobile and could play in any forward position. We've turfed that for a centre forward and wide players, but there is no supply getting through. None of them can cross a ball and we've lost the ability to thread passes through from the middle. I don't see the point in sugar coating any of it and football is an emotional business. If it had been a one-off, it would have been out of order, but we are self destructing week in, week out. These repeated collapses are embarrassing. There will always be the ones who refuse to see what's staring them in the face, but the reality is that we've really taken our eye off the ball in terms of recruitment in the last few years and it's been an accident waiting to happen. That said, whilst I'm sure we have had worse times, you can forgive poor players for being poor. It's harder when they should be much better, and whilst this team isn't close to being our best in the Abu Dhabi era, the players should be doing better than this. These last eleven games have seen the biggest examples of underperformance compared to ability in the 45 years I've been supporting the club, and that's something people have every right to be angry about.

Brilliant vlog as ever Ian. I'm stuck for words with what's going on. How on earth we lost 1-2 88 minutes on the clock. I've seen some slate Pep and the team, I'm not one of them this team has given us what we dreamed of in the 90s I think there's a lot of tiredness with what they've achieved, I've expected a drop of not like this. Stick behind Pep and the team Blues things will come good again. Never forget where we come from Boys in Blue from division 2. Win, lose, draw it's always great to be a Blue 💙
Yet but the saddest part of all of this is that I have to wear a United shirt in work for half an hour tomorrow. All because of a 5 minute capitulation. Why do we keep capitulating?
Unted fan since 86. Never watched this channel before. Thought it was great. Proper City fans with knowledge and history of the club. Not sure about the Trumpets though.
We beat Chelsea 2-0(first game of the season We drew with Arsenal 2-2 We beat forest 3-0 Lost to Liverpool away we do when we are even at our best We lost to United due to nunes not been able to pass a ball 15 yards Pure crap you talk
Harlan spot on as usual …. that spineless surrender was worse than the 0-5 back in 95’ (which I was at) because we will never face a side from Stretford that is as bad as that again. MCFC 🩵 not ok 😞
Seeing Walker go done like he'd been shot by a sniper was so embarrassing. Once utd scored i knew another would come as we looked she'll shocked once again. No fight, no running. Pep needs to call a team meeting Monday morning and lay the law down, players not fighting for thr shirt now and are looking for a way out. That how it looks. Poor, embarrassing and school boy mistakes every game. We're now looking like a relegation side.
Love coming here after a derby win for United. The soft lad saying if United won the next 10 and city lost 10 they would be about level on points clearly can't count. The best interviewee by far though is the angry lad at the end with a yonner accent, wonder if there is a football team in Bolton he can support?
We need El Mago. Simple as that. Magic is missing in this team this year. David Silva created. Feels like there’s no one to step up and create. All just waiting for someone else as the gentlemen emphatically stated at the end. CTID, and I know there’s better days ahead. To get there, though, Magic needs to return.
At 1-0 I was happy with the result but again shocked by the performance. No energy no legs no overlaps. Scored from a header after a set piece but never tested the rubbish Onana. I mean just look at what Forest did to him at Old Trafford! At 1-1 I was not surprised another mistake happened. Sorry 2 mistakes from Nunes. There was no need to give the pen. Ederson was covering the shooting angle. I was like OK now let's not lose it but I have a feeling we're going to. At 1-2 I was not surprised. We played against the worse United team I have ever seen in my life. The only good thing is they now think they are good again. Wrong! They are just as bad as we are. With Gundogan back in the team I can't see O'reilly get even 1 minute especially when Rodri is back. Big mistake to sell all our good young players. Now I hear we want to buy back Frimpong! We started the season with 2 wingers Doku and Savio but now only 1 of them is allowed to play at a time. Too many old legs in that team.
No No No ...exactly the opposite ...the ball never comes in early no matter who is wide ( Doku being the worst culprit ) The only one who gives the big man the right service when fit is KDB.The wide men can all beat a man but then want to beat one or two more and get a shot on leaving the viking totally without his horns.. In his first season when KDB was at his Zenith whipped early crosses were his food and drink. The guy who said that Doku was the best player must be on something, he should have been subbed earlier as he lost possession consistently. Although circumstances have perhaps led to playing more often than ideal, bringing back Gundogen has backfired spectacularly ...his passiveness and static use of the ball has largely led to our recent downturn in attacking potency.
Great blog Ian Very dissapointed Last 2 guys clueless ….. Doku best player 😂😂 Yes Walker needs to give up captaincy to Ruben Tough way to end the year and we will see where it goes from here into January CTID
City fan since 1984 maine road, Want to say to youngster city fan Get used to this losing, We never win a way, We never win at home , We go again, Lets go city 👍 MCFC
The guy at the end is on the money. Pep has had a dreadful season just like most the players and still makes the same mistakes over and over. Ederson should no longer be our no.1 and bernardo cannot play rw in 2024. Walker simply shouldn't be playing anymore. Get some youth into the team that have some legs... stones, ake, kdb when was the last time any of them played 90 minutes
All this would be bad enough, but don’t forget we’ve still got the 115 verdict to come. Things could get a whole lot worse this season. Regardless, CITY TILL WE DIE!
Well Ian how the hell did we manage to lose that? We weren’t great but neither were they and although we didn’t create a lot up top, we were in control and looked solid for over 85 minutes. 2 horrific mistakes and we gift-wrap them the points for THE most undeserved wins in premier league history. We have to stop these dreadful errors in our play that are costing us valuable points. This is one of the most disappointing of days, to lose to this manyoo team that is one of the worst we’ve played. The league is gone, finishing in the top 4 is now looking very doubtful. Great vlog mate.
If that was you in control then you wore the wrong glasses. You not creating anything against a supposed worst team ever just shows you don't understand football. There is a reason we call you bitters.
@gordonbarnett7621 and what exactly did you create? 1 shot on goal all game, for all the possession, never looked like scoring. Ned Kelly. Dick Turpin and Robin Hood at least all wore masks when they were robbing. The absolute irony of a rag calling us bitters. Congratulations on your cup final steal, still 5 points behind. 11 long years and counting. “Bitter”
@@onthekippaxsince75 Lol. I have told you 115 times don't be bitter. We didn't create anything because we had a very inexperienced forward line. Truth be told you couldn't get the ball off us until we passed it to them youngsters. As for you guys, exact same, we couldn't get the ball of you until you gave it to your forwards, they were garbage and in the pockets of (listen for it) Maguire. Let that sink in. We had more difficulty against VP and Southampton than you guys.
To say it was one of the most undeserved wins in PL history is absurd. Let's face it, we were every bit as piss poor as United were. Apart from the goal from a deflected cross, we didn't create one proper chance all game. It's true that we gifted it to them, but they actually created two great chances, one of which they scored from. A draw would have probably been the right result.
@ I agree probably a draw, but the two gift wrapped goals apart, Ederson saved one shot, and that was probably going to hit the post had he not got to it. Yes both teams were poor, but we scored from our chance, and when your leading with 88 minutes on the clock, there’s no way you should lose, they would never have scored until Nunes had his mad moment. They stole 3 points from us, 3 points most un deserved.
I understand the frustration from the fans and as man city fan it pains me alot, however the players let down pep and the fans. I understand one stupid mistakes from Nunes, but to collapse like that not only in this game but last 11 games is unacceptable. I hope can fix.
Hopefully Walker will recover from that traumatic head injury, if not I’m sure one of his wives will look after him.

Get eating and drinking and hopefully the shirt will end up shredded.

The biggest match for Utd is still Liverpool. Not Chav fc.
Chav city... The irony is overwhelming. 💀
Well said Harlan👏👏👏(lad at the end)
Doesn’t sound like a manc? Thought you lot were all born within spitting distance of Maine Road?
Well said that man, Pep's mind numbing inflexibility is killing this current group of players.
Unted fan since 86. Never watched this channel before. Thought it was great. Proper City fans with knowledge and history of the club. Not sure about the Trumpets though.
115 looms large and they know it.

Glory days are over, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Forest, and dare I say Man Utd, all capable of beating this now average team.
We beat Chelsea 2-0(first game of the season
We drew with Arsenal 2-2
We beat forest 3-0
Lost to Liverpool away we do when we are even at our best
We lost to United due to nunes not been able to pass a ball 15 yards
Pure crap you talk
City were certainly not the best team, maybe edged the first half but United were much, much better in that second half, the stats show it too.
What the hell is going on lads 😮 come on, I dont recognise City anymore, no desire, probably spent. New blood needed please.
City has gone back to how they started
LMAO Bitters falling apart.
The irony of your comment. 💀
Harlan spot on as usual …. that spineless surrender was worse than the 0-5 back in 95’ (which I was at) because we will never face a side from Stretford that is as bad as that again.
MCFC 🩵 not ok 😞
You said For 80 minutes you were the better team. I don’t know what game you was watching United by far the better side.
What the 2 attempts they created in 80 mins?
Slightly as underdogs 4/7 on with the bookies !!!
Enjoy league 2
Hope is better than expectation.
Lol, the lad at the end certainly isn't wrong, and I completely agree with him too ....
Never cut the team but I am going to say some are not trying disgraceful
I wouldn't be surprised if he resigned. This can't go on so many defensive mistakes.
I honestly think he will.
Pep is walking a tightrope ... 3 more defeats and he has to go.
🤬💩
True. 👏
3 more and out.
True.
Definitely. Lose these games and it's time to go.
16:18 if you have many fans like this you wont have any atmosphere
Great to see some top Blues on this Vlog
Haaland makes it hard for our wingers to operate
Im embarrassed that Kyle Walker is Citys captain . That cheating behaviour is not acceptable .
Great blog Ian
Very dissapointed
Last 2 guys clueless ….. Doku best player 😂😂
Yes Walker needs to give up captaincy to Ruben
Tough way to end the year and we will see where it goes from here into January
CTID
The last two guys were spot on in their analysis. The third last one who said that Doku was our best player couldn't have been watching the same game.
Let's all laugh at city 😂

The guy at the end is on the money. Pep has had a dreadful season just like most the players and still makes the same mistakes over and over. Ederson should no longer be our no.1 and bernardo cannot play rw in 2024. Walker simply shouldn't be playing anymore. Get some youth into the team that have some legs... stones, ake, kdb when was the last time any of them played 90 minutes
doku was diabolical today did zero every time he got tackled and a counter attack happened and he will not track back
Probably one of the better players imo.

Thanks Ian city will be back
Well Ian how the hell did we manage to lose that?
The wheels have fallen off....Big style.
That young man in the last Interview, he is hurting ( just saying )
Peace to all.
What in god's name is going on Cheesy? Is Joe Royle in charge? 😳
I understand the frustration from the fans and as man city fan it pains me alot, however the players let down pep and the fans. I understand one stupid mistakes from Nunes, but to collapse like that not only in this game but last 11 games is unacceptable. I hope can fix.
