Kinda sad that we never got to actually fight X Kai as a boss in X2, it’d be sick being able to fight him and he’d use weapons like flame burner or strike chain.
And he could even have become a recurring villain like Vile was. And they could even have him function in a way where he would have the exact same amount of "progression" as X at the point where you fight him, where he would possess his own versions of every Boss Weapon that X had obtained up to that point, only for them to work a bit differently (perhaps with X-Kai having slightly stronger versions of said weapons) for X-Kai compared to X, so that X-Kai would be at his strongest and most deadly when X had obtained all 8 Boss Weapons & all of his Armor Upgrades (in the latter case, it could be explained that X-Kai found the armor capsules shortly after X himself, and the capsules were unable to tell the difference between X & X-Kai, so the capsule would give an armor upgrade to BOTH of them, as the Capsules would think that X-Kai was *X* instead of an imitation/copy), and he would be at his weakest when X had no Boss Weapons or Armor Upgrades of his own.
I wish XDive wasn't a mobile game so they could have emphasized more on X-Kai. His boss battle was great though, I loved that he had a lot of the X armor abilities.
bosses that just use your weapons get boring in a while the best one is still X5/X6 zero imo, don't really care for X Kai or others in the X series. though, supposedly, the original X2 concepts had a different 4th counter hunter - i am curious about how that battle would have went, alongside the powered up violen.
@@superoakwood5513 It's possible then that maybe X-Kai "Hacks" or uploads some sort of virus to corrupt the AI of each capsule then, and that he finds each capsule by somehow tracking X himself. There are ways to get around that factor in a feasible way. :)
X2/Counter Hunter Stage 1 is incredible, if there had been Megaman Maverick Hunter X2 for the PSP, your version of Counter Hunter Stage 1 would have fit perfectly in the game and would be epic to listen to as you progress through that level of the game.
I would say it makes sense because as you can see he closely resembles X physically and abilities wise. X Kai would’ve been a massive leap from Megaman and Bass.
honestly, i think its a neat remix regardless. fits the theme too, its an X evil clone that was an attepmt willy tried at creating X himself after stealing part of lights blueprints. later revived and perfectioned by sigma into the true leader of the X hunters or that was the scrapped lore at least.
@@unkindled6410 Actually, IIRC, it was Serges (one of the three X Hunters) who found and completed X-Kai, not Sigma. IIRC, X-Kai was originally planned to be one of the X Hunters in MMX2, but they wound up cutting him for some reason....which is disappointing, since X-Kai could very easily have become a recurring villain in the games like Vile was. They might even have been able to make a spin-off series of games where you actually played *as* X-Kai during time periods when he wasn't in direct conflict with X, which could have taken the form of him perhaps hunting down specific problematic Maverick Hunters, during which time he could potentially clash with Vile as well, who might have come to view X-Kai similarly to X himself in that Vile hated feeling like X-Kai "overshadowed" him, so Vile wanted to be rid of X-Kai just as much as X & Zero would, but for entirely different and completely selfish reasons than them. It could even have been a good way to set up a sort of three-way "power struggle" within the Maverick ranks, where some Mavericks sided with Vile, and the others sided with X-Kai & the X Hunters, but both sides still ultimately aligned with Sigma overall so that if the situation necessitated it they would stop fighting each other long enough to try and deal with other threats (namely X & Zero).
Nope. He was originally planned to be one of the X Hunters in MMX2 (he was originally a copy of the original X created from blueprints Wily stole from Dr. Light, but the blueprints were too complex for Wily to successfully complete X-Kai, so he eventually gave up and sealed X-Kai away and then focused his time and effort on Zero. But Serges of the X hunters eventually found X-Kai and using the modern tech of that time period he was able to complete X-Kai and recruit him into the X Hunters), but he was eventually cut from the game entirely, and the concept of X-Kai was never re-used after that, which is unfortunate since he had the potential to become a great recurring villain in much the same way that Vile did.
Kinda. Then years later, Serges from the X Hunters found X-Kai and using the modern tech of the time was able to complete X-Kai, at which point he then recruited X-Kai into the X Hunters. Sadly, X-Kai was cut from his planned appearance in MMX2 and he was never re-visited after that, which is unfortunate since he could have been a very fun and entertaining recurring villain that functioned similarly to Vile where he might be defeated, but he would always escape before X or Zero could actually finish him off for good, thus allowing him to return in future games.

Amazing
Ok... I love your style. X3 more please
Sensacional,amei
Heat👍
Epic
I don’t like that they retconned him from being based on the blueprints of the original Mega Man to being based on X.
Same

The blueprints being regular. Mega man didn't make sense to begin with, considering his resemblance to X
Wish X-Kai was highlighted more in the original series as a formidable rival
Is it me or this music is just remix for stage theme from X3 and Sigma stages 1 and 2 from X2 these were combined together as one?

@@unkindled6410 yep. I had known about that after including that character in Rockman X Dive.

Looks like some Deviant Art tier OC with a swapped color pallette and extra edge.
