X and Zero had the best fight ever, kind of a shame we will never get this ever again in Mega Man X
I would say there are a lot of great fights in Mega Man X series.
X vs Zero from X2, X Vs Phantom/Reaper/Gunner/Earth Sigma in X4, final fight against Sigma in X5, Fight against High Max, Gate and later Sigma in X6, and of course Axl vs Red from X7.
Unless you mean you mean emotional fight, then only Axl vs Red really.

I love how zero has a smile. It’s like he sees the clarity in Xs eyes. Like he knows he’s about to get the fight he’s been waiting for and deep down he knew in his programing it was going to be against X.

It doesn't matter what you're remixing, it will always come out amazing!
I absolutely fucking love X vs Zero remixes. The decisive battle remix alone is an absolute favorite, and even in general, X vs Zero is such a great OST that has even better remixes and X-Buster is a fantastic song. This is the peak of what a rival-like battle should be like, to the death and stakes involved. And you hit it just right, I had myself replaying the beginning piano bit several times just cause this is done real well.
If you'll continue MegaMan remixes, I suggest stuff like Lumine's battle phase 2 (Perhaps a mashup with phase 1), and the command mission battle themes for X and Zero. But honestly, there are *many* tracks that'd go well with your remixes or just being remixed in general.

Love this remix. I've always considered this more of a "vs X" song due to how unique it is. We're used to playing as X up until one game ago where Zero became a fully usable character without needing to secretly bring him up in a menu. We've fought Zero before already (be it real or fake), but this? This is the first and only time in the series... where as Zero, you have to fight against the protagonost himself, X. The boy we basically raised/grew up alongside in this journey, but now his Buster is aimed at US.

can't believe I'm saying this but; I've now found a remix as good or BETTER than breis' remix from 2014. the only thing i prefer from that one is the pure "emotion"..? power..? whatever, in the part of the song that everyone kinda recognizes, like at 2:09 . (that's the best i could describe it, sorry) but otherwise i prefer this one. good job on this one man, you knocked it outta the park!
Something I've always thought would be pretty incredible would be an X vs Omega Zero remix. Basically, a combination/mashup between this theme and Cannonball.

HOW I'VE MISSED THIS MUSIC. I grew up absolutely loving the Mega Man series, and I'd almost forgotten how great this motif was!!! One of my favorite games of all time is tge Megaman Zero series. I own the collection on Switch.

When the Rockman X series gets revived I really hope that X and Zero fight for a more legitimate reason. Don't get me wrong, that bit where the Sigma Virus corrupts either X or Zero depending who you play as was good but I want to see something better or different. And maybe a friendly spar, just because. Also given Devil May Cry's success especially with the PC modding that'd be sweet if X and Zero get their alternate costumes based upon Dante and Vergil
