Storm Eagle was one of the most requested songs when I released my Boomer Kuwanger NCL remix, hopefully the next ones won't take this long, sorry about that.

I had a lot of much fun working on this and I'm super happy with the tiny additions and effects I put in. I was scared the rhythm guitar would deviate too much from the original but I think it's doing alright.

Not gonna lie, kinda wish Terminal used this one for the video instead of the Genesis remix, but that's just a testament to how f'n good this track is. Really hope you end up doing another one of these soon, perhaps with Sigma Fortress 1?
Yeah this one is better. Or better yet, how about use both songs. The SNES can be X and Storm Eagle can be Genesis. So it’s like SNES VS GENESIS

In hindsight, i think this is by far the best of the "no console limitations" series and you should be super proud of it.
Man, you're so good at this. Listening to your remakes and remixes of these themes from way back when is always a blast.
Back when we were a bunch of kiddos playing the games, THIS is what the music felt like in our heads. You do a fantastic job at capturing it.

One of my favorite details about this mix is how the chorus/hook of the song starts out at the beginning as kind of faint and static-y, like it's being played over the speakers of an airport. I don't know why I love that so much, but I just do.

I see a ton of people saying that MMX should be remade with this soundtrack, and it'd be amazing to hear such a thing, but honestly...?
I think I'd beat the level before the song was halfway done playing, the shorter songs in the SNES version actually do fairly well given the game's pace~
