@@mattdale8675 I've played in games where 3+ sessions don't even cover a day but sooooo much happened. It is funny but from a player's view, valid. Lol
@@WolfieOo Yeah, we just got out of a really dense time period in my game. We had....
- An episode of down time where we all hung out and learned more about each other and did shopping and then we went to the theater and then someone got murdered at the theater and then we chased after the killer.
- Two sessions spent in a condensed space inside of a back alley, searching for the assassin and kinda hiding from the city guards who thought we were involved with the assassin. When we finally escaped, one of our party ended up without her equipment and literally fell right into the hands of the guards, so she had to fight and run to get free. We finished out that session with her getting dragged off to jail.
- The next session started with one of our party hitching an invisible ride on the jail cart and staying with her while the rest of us started making plans to hunt down the assassin to clear our party member's name. We threw a bunch of weight around with the guard and got a 24 hour reprieve for our captured party members... and then later they escaped from prison anyway.
- The next session, we managed to track down the assassin and who she worked for, we struck a deal with her organization, then found a place for our fugitives to hide out while the rest of us delved into the dangerous world of real estate to find the assassin's organization a good front for their operations, our end of the bargain.
- Finally, after three in-story days of constantly running around with heads on fire, we got the assassin, delivered her to the guards, cleared our friends names, and we had a well-deserved beer and pizza party. And then the city started burning because of a coup. Our organization was specifically targeted by the coup, presumably because our boss was one of the lords of the city, and so we all had to flee. My party elected to go by sea rather than by land as we all went south.
All of this happened over the course of about 4 in-game days, and things still haven't really slowed down while we've been on the ocean, to the point where the crew of the ship we chartered ended up mutinying over the fact that this party of weirdos kept drawing in trouble. We just delivered a dragon (who had been cursed) to her home, and killed the sirens and rusalka who had invaded it and cursed her. It has been non-stop, from an in-game perspective.

The fact that Nott is asking about her funeral is kind of sad considering her backstory :(

It's especially weird that she asked if anyone came - since literally nobody knows that she's a goblin.
She caught herself and added "i guess not because everyone was out at sea", so she was referring the rest of M9

I love how her voice gets suddenly way more expressive thanks to Nott's shenanigans and she ends up opening about an issue no one suspected ^^
From what she says it also kinda sounds like she, at one point, was loudly yelling and cursing and swearing because she thought they had left.
Given recent events, there is not a lot of fear for that anymore.

How do you do a quote comment and get nearly all the quotes wrong?
@@freddo9800 with so many lines it would be obnoxious to make sure you're exactly quoting every word correctly, especially when and if the comment is being written with a phone.
Also, in this case it doesn't really matter

For me at least, Ashley’s sweet voice and personality has always clashed hard with how Yasha is drawn and I can’t tell if that just makes her character even better.
It's actually making Yasha a bit more interesting on how her voice seemingly dis-proportioned a bit with how she actually looks. It makes more interesting when she opens up her feelings more on the group, and also gives a hint that she's putting a bit of effort into trying to hide her awkwardness, only to unconciously having it show off anyway.

@@Eadwulf_Skald Well Fjord is just saying that if any of the Nein are gone/have disappeared for a week (7 days) then they should hold funerals for those members, after Nott's suggestion of a few days less. Fjord calls it "an even 7." Even though ya know,
7 is an odd number.
I love this Yasha!! The comedy in this scene is incredible alone, but I also love how hurt and proud you drew her, it really gives her character

We had a funeral for one character in the campaign and it turned out that he survived and he jojoed us.

So first when you consider the fact that Nott is considered dead, her talking about her funeral is very sad.
And then you have the fact that a certain person who was worried about being abandoned isn't part of the group anymore.

It’s actually always been there on the official art, so I’ve been drawing it like that since the beginning! (which makes it like a long joke payoff)

I’m just a few episodes behind, but the most shocking part of this to me by far was hearing Yasha’s real voice.
That sphere is actually really cool. Wanna skip a whole voyage? Just chill in there for a few hours, boom. You skipped 3 days

I never played DnD except for 4e oneshots with my family, but I would be a Nott-esc character. I am sort of locked onto the four roleplaying classes (Rogue, Bard, warlock and wild sorcerer). Nott is no quite like my characters who manipulate the game rules.
Here is an example:
Skeek-Reeka-Macheek, a kobold warlock has a familiar pseudodragon. Reeka Carries the dragon on her back for her turn and has the dragon carry Reeka by flight on its turn doubling their speed. Reeka also has the party members walk around carrying her so she can be constantly taking short rests to regain her spell slots back.
That is how you abuse the game. Coupled with a character with as many quirks as the DM will let you get away with, and you have a Nottlike character.

This is the best artistic representation of Cad I've seen so far. I prefer the obvious emphasis on size.
So here’s something I like that nobody is really mentioning: nott declares that she’s setting a group rule and Fjord is instantly willing to listen to and possibly adopt it. Nott’s comic relief a lot of the time but she’s still cared about and respected in the group even by the person who she fights with the most, which is nice to see. Good families bicker but they stick together.
