Aside from a couple of chichè, the Green green glow of home was a gorgeous episode. So was The house of Luthor
One of best Supermen but certainly the best Clark. Without doing the bumbling buffoon act he was still able to pull off two distinct characters personalities. They don’t even look alike.
Dean is certainly not one of the best supermen. In fact, this version of Superman is hardly ever mentioned alongside the others, and for good reason. ( Why don't you Google Dean Caines Superman and see where he ranks in comparison.)

Not sure why searching for other people's opinions is a good argument. Especially when you consider most people in today's age don't even understand superman to begin with
The way Lex trapped him and tortured him with the Kryptonite, I truly hated him in that episode.

Is it just me or Dean's Clark had more fight in dealing against Kryptonite than other actors who portrayed the big dude in blue?

Buddy just 2 years back I was 5 feet away from dean cain himself in Winchester Virginia for the annual apple blossom festival parade I was wearing my Superman outfit itself for my support of Superman himself best moment of my life and hopefully hoping hope that Brandon routh from Superman 5-Superman returns (2006) comes to Winchester Virginia for a great upcoming apple blossom festival parade iffy you believe so good great so all of the Superman portrayals family I admire them all and the same thing for the Lois lane portrayals family long live the Superman family themselves thanks people peace to you all thanks peace.

I was born Sunday October 21st, 1979 the Superman movies, tv shows, animated series, and many more movies that is my obsession in life because Superman is the reason why I’m still alive today my dad is in heaven 7 years back to be exact and my mom misses him too much I understand that I got see dean cain last year in the Apple blossom parade 2022 we are all diehard Superman fanatic fans since 05/25/1938 so we must keep the torch proverbial torch light with fire forever forevermore until the days of the world ends whoever knows when be safe my friends peace blessings to you all peace.
There was a scene in an episode called “Tempus Anyone”, when Tempus weakens Superman with kryptonite in the alternate reality.
They did a great job with Green & Red Kryptonite.
Dean Cain has to be one of my favourite Supermen.
Aside from the erroneous idea that Green K removes Superman's powers in the Green Green Glow of Home, they did get the effects of the stuff pretty accurate in later stories.

I always assumed that he lost his powers so long from exposure because he wasn't used to it being used on him.
In later episodes the effects wore off pretty soon after he could get away from it.
@@tdtellem From what I've read it weakens him the same way a deadly and painful poison would weaken a human. They got it wrong when it was introduced in Lois and Clark. But as you see when Lex cages him, he's still got his powers but he's in extreme pain.
@@tdtellem My thoughts too. Recovery after the very first exposure may have been extremely slow since his immune system wasn't used to it at all. It would makes sense that he'd be completely de-powered. The more he gets exposed to it, although it'll remain lethal, he would recover faster. I know it's probably not canon, but wouldn't be too far off either.

Plus he didn't get his powers fully back after the ordeal with Lex.
At the end when Luthor leaps to his death, Clark tried to fly and save him but he couldn't because he was still heavily depowered.
Kryptonite makes the Stories more interesting!!

I was born in '89 and fell in love with the Donner Superman movies as a child. Me and my mom would watch this show every week as the new episodes came out. It was either this show, or watching my VHS recording of the Superman movies lol

No but if you're exposed to green kryptonite for too long, it causes terminal cancer in you just as it did to Lex Luthor in Justice League Unlimited when he carried a chunk of that green kryptonite with him in his suit for too long.
3:30 so green kryptonite turns Clark human temporarily.
I knew that kryptonite would make him feel sick and weak but I never would have known that it would do that as well.
