If you want the Pentatonix rabbit-hole experience, "Imagine", "mary Did You Know", "Shallow" and "Bohemian Rhapsody"... You thought that "Sound..." was good? Trust me, you've got the best to come! Fab reaction, as always. Always love watching someone so genuine. Keep 'em coming! :)

All ,excellent performances, although I think this one is my favorite. After 100+ times hearing it, I still get goose bumps...with both Matt and at the end with Scott. Another fantastic one is Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies.

Hi Gitana, First off, we love you, Gitana, you are so much fun and in the best way. I have followed PTX a while and I am still stunned most of the time. I think you are in the UK somewhere and Pentatonix does a Queen song, Bohemian Rhapsody. It is hard to imagine how that complicated song could be done A Capella, Somehow they pull it off. It is quite amazing and you will find most of their songs to be next level. Thanks for doing these. With love from Florida

It's official. You are a Pentaholic, just like the rest of us. Can't wait to see you explore them even deeper. They have a HUGE catalog of music and videos. If you watched one per week, it would take over 3 years to see everything and that assumes they wouldn't add any more during that time. If you want to see them grow from the beginning, you could react to their performances on The Sing-Off Season 3, which they won. They have a ton of great covers and I really have to echo what so many others have suggested - do the "Imagine" cover, it is very poignant in these troubling times. Their 3 Grammy winners are Daft Punk Medley, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Jolene (with Dolly Parton). They also have some great originals like Love Again, Run To You, Can't Sleep Love, Sing, Water, and many others. Keep up the great reactions.

Quite a few people have requested Imagine...and I will also. I'll warn you, however. Bring the tissues. You're going to need them. Also, I'll warn you that you're ears, toward the end of the song, are going to be absolutely assaulted with beauty. That cover is power, it is deep, deep meaning, it is raw, unchecked emotion, and it is so totally relevant to the world situation. I swear Pentatonix are profits themselves.

    welcome to the fandom :D
heres a little backstory for you :)
The Members are Scott (middle), Mitch (mullet, but looks different in every video :D), Kirstie, Kevin (right, beatbox), Matt (left, bass since 2017), Avi (bass 2011-2017)
They won The Sing-Off ( an acapella competition show) in 2011 and have since then released many Eps and Albums ( covers and originals), toured the world, won three grammys and basically become the most famous modern acapella band there is :D
a few amazing covers they did (and they did a looot) :
shallow, can you feel the love tonight, come along, blinding lights (its from their brand new ep), waving through a window, when the partys over, and also their evolutions of rihanna and ariana grande ( these are all relatively new and with matt)
if you want to check out more of their "older" stuff (with Avi):
imagine, sing (an original), rather be, cheerleader , daft punk (they won their first grammy for that arrangement)

You probably already know this information, but I'll post it here anyway (in two comments).
    The girl is Kirstin (mezzo-soprano)
The blond guy is Scott (baritone)
The guy with dark hair and high-pitched voice is Mitch (countertenor)
The black guy with the deep voice is Matt (he's been the bass since 2017)
Finally Kevin the beatboxer (he also plays the cello and is tenor but doesn't sing much).
The bearded guy who appeared in the Hallelujah video is Avi (he was the bass since the band started until 2017).
Pentatonix is the world's most influential capella band and has so far won three Grammy Awards: 2015 by "Daft Punk", 2016 by "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" and 2017 by "Jolene" with Dolly Parton.

Another great PTX reaction! Yes, it’s so easy to get hooked on these guys and it’s so fun to do so as well! Some of my favorites from them are Daft Punk (their first Grammy) Bohemian Rhapsody, Evolution of Rihanna, Gold, Shallow, and a couple of their originals, Run to you and Love Again. That should get you started. Also there are solo projects too, like Kevin’s KO channel (check out his Sign of the Times version) and Scott and Mitch side project Superfruit (Defying Gravity is epic!). As if this wasn’t enough, also check out Voiceplay and Home Free, two other fantastic acapella groups who will blow your mind as well! Beware this rabbit hole is deep! (and incredibly.enjoyable too!). I’ll be watching!

PTX version is the best in my opinion. It shows the full range of all of them, as well as the perfection of their harmonies. I 100% agree with the time they put into the arrangements of this and all of their covers. They are very skilled at being true artists and making any song they sing, whether cover or original, completely and utterly pleasing to the ear and beautiful.

Any Pentatonix song is amazing! There are so many to react to and I cannot wait to watch your reactions when you do! Another group to check out is Superfruit, which was created by Scott and Mitch from Pentatonix. A couple of suggestions from Superfruit are Defying Gravity, Rise (Katy Perry cover), Guy.exe. You won’t be disappointed!

Cool, like the partition with plants..Shit is right!! They are so epic..this song makes me emotional every time i hear it, almost doesn't matter who sings.i think that's a great reaction, on its own it is phenomenal. Everyone has their own favorites..Daft Punk Medley is one of mine."New rules x are you that somebody" is awesome, when they do their Ping run(you'll know when it happens} is crazy and Imagine...touching. You mentioned Kirstie's voice and to me she brings the power with laser clarity. For a tough touching country song I would suggest Martina Mcbride "concrete angel" it's tough. For fun Toby Keith, good as I once was. fun . Peace out all

There is nothing wrong in saying that this is the best rendition of the track......because it is! By an absolute country mile!
(and I loved the version covered by Disturbed too btw!!!)

I’ve heard them in Concert and after killing it and sounding pretty much exactly like their recordings they did an acoustic encore not with head mikes but standing around mikes and batted it out of the park. I was amazed, as a singer myself, that they were able to sing like this at the end of a concert when their voices should have been tired!

They were due to perform in Manchester on the 5th April but obviously it was postponed. The new date is through, post COVID, on the 9th June next year, can't wait to see them.

You are right with all the "Shit, Shit, Shit'. This is the most epic performance of this song I've ever heard and I was at the Hollywood bowl when Simon and Garfunkel played with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
