Joe, thank you for this incredible invention! I bought a Ruger LCP 380 a couple of weeks ago and wanted to buy a holster for it . I don't like pocket holsters. I normally don't wear a belt as I usually wear shorts in the warm months and sports pants in the cooler ones. I thought about using industrial Velcro on the pocket holster and attaching it to my Nike work out belt. Then I saw the belly band belt on Amazon. Perfect! Even for backpacking I can carry my Ruger, a Smith & Wesson folding knife and ferro rod plus an extra magazine. Works for me!
All the complaints I see are people not using the right holster for the way they intend to carry. I love this holster. It fits my needs at the time I intend to carry. Im getting an aliengear IWB holster also.
I love your story brother. My wife and I carry using ComfortTac and I can attest that your product is amazing! She loves it because she can still dress how she wants, and I love it because it lets me carry every day without printing when I wear just a t-shirt. Thank you!!
I bought one and love it. make sure you measure your belly for proper sizing and not necessarily your waist. just measure what is bigger your waist or belly. it's real comfortable!
Hi Joe! This is the best holster and for just 20 bucks a bargain. I backpack and wanted to carry a firearm without advertising it. The ComfortTac was the answer. Not only does it carry my firearm it also carries a spare magazine, a S&W folding knife, a ferro rod and a small flashlight...all well hidden under my t-shirt or jacket comfortably. Well done, Joe. I highly recommend this holster.
I own one of these. Fits my Ruger LCP2 perfectly. I really like it a lot - it’s my go to conceal carry. That said, I live in central Texas - this holster can be very uncomfortable in hot climates. It’s a non- issue in cooler, sub 72F temps. In cooler weather, there isn’t a better, more comfortable conceal carry holster.
I'm sold, this was genuine, no bs or fancy editing and hit the nail on the head about all the problems I've had with holsters (especially as a curvy woman) so I felt very targeted with this ad (in a good way). I gave up on carrying except for in my purse but let's be real, doesn't do much good there. Now that I am in law enforcement I absolutely need to carry off duty and you may have just saved my waist and my wallet. Can't wait to receive mine
I appreciate the fact that this guy has a dad bod and is actually appealing to 90% of people who normally carry. It's really annoying that all the ads that I see for appendix holsters where the guy wearing it has a six pack and nowhere near the waist size that I have.
I have to tell you.my gun instructor sold me a leather holster for concealed carry. That being said the first time I tried to pull my S&W SHIELD out, the gun and holster both came out ! I spent a week rubbing mink oil into it to make it softer and hoping to make the holster softer and mold to my sidearm. I ha e to tell you it sucks, gonna be getting me one of these babies soon
Looks like a neat rig. Here is a problem to consider. Back in the day there was a "lightning" or skeleton rig which used a skeletal leather holster with a spring clip that allowed the carry of a full size revolver in a vertical orientation. the clip allowed the weapon to be pulled forward rather than up for quick deployment while still being carried high under the offside arm. I would love for someone to come up with an affordable and comfortable version of something like that which could be used under a button (or better yet snap) shirt.
So I just finished ordering from your site and I cannot express how excited I am for this holster. And the price? What a fantastic deal! I've read great things about your product and I can't wait to try it out for myself. Thank you for what you do and congratulations on your success!
I just got mine for $20, and it's worth more to me than my holster that's $70 (originally $55, but I opted for the plus $15 for the horse hide leather). If you have a something like a G43 or a P365, get one before you get anything else. I thought it wasn't going to be "safe" because of a lack of a trigger guard cover, but my retention strap has a bit of extra leather on it that covers the trigger guard, so Thank you guys so much. I Don't have to worry about squeezing things inside my waistband, even though if you want to do that, they have the tuck-able model. Mine came with a spare mag pouch I can move around wherever I want. The retention strap, it should be more like a shoulder holster, where you can pop it off with your thumb, and that's the only thing I can criticize with this thing. When I found this on the internet I was thinking of going with a pocket holster ($40), because I wanted to get away from Inside-the-Waistband carry, but my pockets are full enough as it is, and I don't want to mix up my keys and phone and scratch up my screen. This thing is damn-near perfect. Again, guys and gals, GET YOU ONE. It's cheaper (no wait - less expensive) than everything else, and it really brings the gun in closer to your body than any kydex or leather. I have a feeling I'm gonna be bragging about this thing to all my 2nd Amendment friends for a LONG time. Sorry one more thing, I just realized this thing has a pocket on it for more spare mags or a cell phone or whatever. You guys continue to impress me.
Good everyday guy that needed to fill a void that he was facing with holsters! I too tried 3 different ones while carrying now I’m working with a molded plastic , I like it but ima try this out especially because the warm shorts 🩳 weather is coming! Ima give it a go brother thank you, I literally just seen a Facebook add of this product. I’m glad you’ve created this vid.
Well damn. I injured my back 3 years ago and have worn a back brace almost everyday since, I didn’t think anything of it when I was carrying my pistol tucked in it and under dress shirts. Good job turning that into a product
Ive purchased this and let me tell you. It actually prints significantly more than ANY other holster that I own. I use a button down shirt tucked in for work and this didn't work for me because of the printing problem. Also, the placement I like to wear my gun causes the snap that secures the gun to be below my pant line. This makes it difficult to draw the gun in an emergency situation. I also don't like that the trigger doesn't have the protection of kydex. However, allow me to tell you what I DO use this for. When I go running, or to the gym, this thing is amazing. It secures the gun well enough during runs, and doesn't print in the looser shirts I wear when working out. As an athletic accessory for conceal carry, this thing is amazing. For everyday carry, not so much.
Hello. You are correct, this is not the best solution if you wear button down shirts. A tuck-able IWB is probably the only way to go with a button down shirt.
I bought my wife one years ago, recently borrowed it while waiting for my own to arrive. This thing is great, comfortable and I can't believe how well it conceals a Glock 19 size gun.
I went through the same process. Ended up with outside the belt holster and a T shirt with an over shirt. I live in Minnesota and I'm in shorts and T shirt 3 months out of the year. In summer I put my M&P 380 EZ in my pocket. I wear suspenders to help carry the load of the pistol, magazines and insulin pump.
I have had the older version on this great holster for many months. I just received the newest version that has relocated the safety snap. Big home run. I wear this everyday, with Glock 19-22-17-23. Ruger sr 1911 in 9mm.S&W model 19 in 357.Springfield SD in 9mm. Handles all perfectly. Very comfortable in most all positions
One of the best belly band holsters I've bought! There's a good chance I'll buy an extra one, just cause. I have an active lifestyle and this is perfect for me; makes it to where it's not a giant chore to want to carry.
I'm 73 and have been involved with guns for 60+ years. I've been through the gambit of most ways to carry a weapon concealed. What I have settled on is an inexpensive Cordura holster on the out side of my belt, held tight to my side with an over shirt that I wear untucked. I wear only Grey T shirts and when I carry my heavier pistol, I made a Grey web nylon strap for over my right shoulder, behind my left shoulder, and sewed buttons on the inside of the waist band to carry the extra weight. I have a dual mag paddle magazine carrier on the left side.
Hi Tom. Thank you for sharing. I'm glad to hear you found something that works for you. Have you ever tried our Ultimate Belly Band Holster? They are super comfortable.
Hey Joe I just got mine today, talk about fast shipping, I love it, really comfortable and fits both my Taurus g2c and my Glock19, Thank you for this product
Joe, I know that the elastic holster helps keep costs low for the consumer. However, I think the largest issue for most people is both the retention and a better trigger guard. My wife owns your new Comfort Tac Belly Band and I recently used it for my XDm 3.8 Compact 9mm. I really enjoyed all of the benefits you speak of and customers have reviewed. However, all retention straps for all belly band holsters depress the hand grip safety as well as don't provide a safer trigger guard. While I am not too keen on the Crossbreed belly band holster due to Velcro wearing down over time, how has Comfort Tac thought about providing a solution to these trigger issues?
Hi Kevin, Thank you for reaching out. You are correct. Several people have modified their Ultimate Belly Band Holster by mounting a custom Kydex holster inside the belly band and eliminating the retention strap. As far as design goes we are looking at ideas for improved trigger coverage but we do not have a design in the works at this time. Best - Joe
Yahudah Israel Some people will have a concern about neoprene acting as the trigger guard, but this may vary depending on the type of gun you carry. Revolver may not really be an issue, but striker fire you might want to add a kydex or MIC as mentioned above. Plenty of RUclips videos on holsters and whatnot, look them over.
@ComfortTac Have you ever considered making a belly band with nothing on it but belt loops? So what I'm imagining is a scenario where the user puts on the belly band first, put on a regular gun belt through the loops, and then the user can just use their regular IWB holster sandwiched between the belly band and gun belt. Thoughts?
I am new to carrying a gun. I knew I wanted to carry concealed and due to I guess plain luck, I saw your belly band on Amazon. I bought myself and my son one, and have not looked back yet. As you say, comfortable and I also have forgotten I have it on. Thank you for coming along just when I needed it. One question. Can I buy an extra mag holder? Just in case. Thanks, Jack
I have the belly holster, and I love it. I hated how iwb holsters were hard, and cut into my gut. The belly wrap is soft, comfy, breathable, and it conceals great against my lower ribs 10/10 would recommend
I was also tried 324 holsters for my 38 revolver and my 380 Shield EZ semi I seen this belly band and I ordered it should be in here in a couple more days looking forward to trying it out
I really like this product, if I would add anything it would be a hard shell trigger guard somehow inserted into the holster compartment - but I still love it and wear it every day.
We actually just launched a brand new version (available on Amazon and ComfortTac.com) that has a hard plastic trigger guard built into the elastic holster. Check it out... www.amazon.com/dp/B01ECX8LE2 -Joe
Been wearing this for a few days and love almost everything about it except the speed of draw. It's awkward to clear shirt, unbotton a snap and get the gun out. I've noticed that sometimes when moving at speed, my thumb slips between the band and my skin, making the draw impossible. If you could find a way to sew a small kydex piece into the gun pocket to allow for faster and more consistent draw this would be perfect. I'm still happy with it and it's the best option for exercise/ hot days when shorts are in order, but I think it could be improved.
We used to use a metal clasp vs. the snap for the retention strap. We also changed over to a breathable neoprene to reduce heat which was a huge improvement. Finally we include a movable spare magazine pouch. Those are the three changes we made from 2017 to 2018
my only concern is the snaps on the retention strap, i almost wish there were some type of easy to grab "tab" there to make releasing the firearm from the holster smoother and quicker. otherwise looks like a great product. thinking about trying one out myself
I just bought my first handgun. Finding a holster is a nightmare. I appreciate your back story and will definitely try this out. I have two concerns. The safe trigger guard and will it hold a shield with tlr-6 attachment?
For the trigger guard if not having a hard plastic trigger guard is a concern you can always get one of the MIC Kydex Trigger Guards. They work great when paired with our holster. As for your shield with TLR6 attachment it will fit but you will need to modify the band. We have another video on RUclips that will show you how to do it here... ruclips.net/video/B9blG4OxoCY/видео.html Best, Joe
I weigh 270 lbs I’m scared my gut won’t allow the holster to fit me properly. I have a 9mm Taurus so I hope it would fit my conceal as well if I was to order one.
I just ordered one today. Soooo looking forward to trying it out! I'll check back with my thoughts, but based on the reviews, I can probably already say "yeah, what they all said." ;-)
Went to your website and your prices are very fair and reasonable. I was quite surprised. I have several hand guns and will be getting my CCP soon. I will be trying your IWB holster for my Glock 30s.....just need to make sure I get the correct size. I wish you well!
This is the best holster there is, hands down. I bought an alien gear shapeshift 4.0 for my Glock 19 after a friend told me about it and then reading the reviews, everyone said it’s the best and most comfortable you can get. Nothing could be further from the truth. It’s bulky and doesn’t hold the gun tight to your side even with a steel carry belt. Plus you have to go out and spend all kinds of money on bigger size pants and such, and even then the holster sags like it’s it’s job. You end up just continually pulling up your pants every 5 seconds which is not fun, and it gives you away in public and makes you look strange because you’re constantly adjusting your pants and messing around with the holster because your worried about printing with it. Enter the comfortac belly band. You don’t have to go and spend money on all kinds of other shit like bigger pants and a stiffer carry belt after spending a ton of money on a holster. You just slap this puppy on and your good to go. Doesn’t matter if you’re bigger or smaller or whether you wear gym shorts or jeans, it works no matter what you want to wear. Not everyone wants to wear 5.11 tactical pants and boots all day, especially if you live in a hot climate. This is the most comfortable and cost effective concealed carry holster on the market.
I'm about to get my conceal carry permit in my country pretty soon and I've seen so many videos about the different types of carrying and this seems like the most reasonable and safest way of carrying Will defenetly buy one
I am left handed. I called your tech line and they told me it is universal. The snap strap is not universal, so the extra Velcro and snap just hang there and the extra clip slot I have to insert the clip from the bottom since one end of it is sewn shut. I’ll ask you once again. Do you have a left handed version. Other than those 2 issues. Working great so far. Need to show demos on fat guys like myself.
Can I use this holster with a tuck in shirt ? I wear formal clothing all the time , and I am looking for a holster that I can carry while my shirt is tucked in .
I carry full size weapon everyday. Either is Smith & Wesson tactical 40 cal or the Sig Sauer 226 40 cal. I think you sold me can't wait to pick one up tomorrow
My mother in law purchased me a ComfortTac band for my birthday when she found out my wife had picked up a Glock 19 Gen3 for me, to be honest I have never heard of these bands but after using as my EDC & doing some research these bands are kick ass! I was going to purchase a UrbanCarry holster but I’m extremely glad my mother in law beat me to the purchase on a holster! She did not only save me some money but also a head ache, after watching video reviews on the Urban carry it just did not look like the cup of tea I was hoping for
I just ordered one off Amazon, I’m going to be carrying an Sig Sauer P229 .40 caliber that my dad bought me back in the mid 90’s. Do you think I will be able to conceal carry a gun this size comfortably?
I don't see why not. It is about the same size as a Glock 19 which is very common for concealed carry. Just remember concealment is up to your clothing. With a larger gun it is typical to have to size up your shirt by 1 size to avoid printing or wear a cover shirt like an open button up shirt etc. -Joe
ComfortTac Thanks Joe, I like to wear thin tight fit shirts in the warm weather, with this p229 I’m printing like the New York Times, I’m going to try one size up.
@@bdougie3807 Yeah unfortunately that's the nature of the beast. I used to really worry about printing as I felt EVERYONE WOULD KNOW. But in reality people aren't paying attention. They're looking at their phone more than anything and thinking about themselves. Haha. But try one size up and see if that helps. If not shift the belly band higher on your torso so the band is just under your chest and position the gun in a shoulder holster position. This puts your gun under your arm and will hide it better. This is actually how I carry all the time as it is more comfortable for sitting (which I do most of the day at a desk or in the car) and it is easier to conceal. The down side is that it is slower to draw from a standing position. -Joe
I just bought one and have been wearing it for week now. I love it.
I’ve been wearing this for a few months and will never go back to any other style of carry. Well done ComfortTac.

A genius reinvention. I am sold on it. I will order one.
This guy is telling the truth. I bought one, they are fantastic.
I love this holster,Works great!! Perfect for my Glock 19. Finally a holster that works as advertised.
Thank you for the positive feedback. It means a lot to us. -Joe
where can I get one ? ... rr79423@gmail.com
l purchases this band 8 months ago this is my answer to the ultimate comfort holster love it thanks
Just got one and I love it...I wear yoga pants and shorts (no belts)...works great.
Just got my up to 44", and I'm a 38" waist. It didn't fit, so now I'm buying the up to 54" and hope it fits.
I just ran across this video. Im going to have to look into one of these!
Mark Hewitt did u?
Hi Kevin,
Thank you for reaching out. You are correct. Several people have modified their Ultimate Belly Band Holster by mounting a custom Kydex holster inside the belly band and eliminating the retention strap. As far as design goes we are looking at ideas for improved trigger coverage but we do not have a design in the works at this time.
Best - Joe
Use it with a Mic holster, problem solved. It works great.
@@tcjester322 what's a Mic holster - can you give me a link
Is it safe to carry with one in the chamber? Is the elastic rigid enough to prevent the trigger from being pulled on accident?
Great personable straight forward presentation. I have to get one!
I have the belly holster, and I love it. I hated how iwb holsters were hard, and cut into my gut. The belly wrap is soft, comfy, breathable, and it conceals great against my lower ribs
10/10 would recommend
Where are these made ? Great idea
Just bought one. Coming in the mail. Can't wait to try it..
I was also tried 324 holsters for my 38 revolver and my 380 Shield EZ semi I seen this belly band and I ordered it should be in here in a couple more days looking forward to trying it out
Love mine ♥ ❤ 💕 EDC: Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 9mm 2.0
I really like this product, if I would add anything it would be a hard shell trigger guard somehow inserted into the holster compartment - but I still love it and wear it every day.
We actually just launched a brand new version (available on Amazon and ComfortTac.com) that has a hard plastic trigger guard built into the elastic holster. Check it out... www.amazon.com/dp/B01ECX8LE2 -Joe
@@ComfortTac Damn, currently unavailable.
Just got mine and love it. Sending it to friends info because I love it so much.
Just meet some man at academy he asked me what kind of holster i was looking for he referred me to this I’m getting this it seems to be perfect
Just found ur video on RUclips. My son got the belly band for me this past Christmas. It works great and feels great. Thx
CyanLink Comfor\tTac now produces holster options. Another option- you could add your preferred kydex inside a band-based system.
Exactly I was thinking the draw is the only liability. You won’t have enough time to draw your gun on someone if it means your life.
Purchased mine last year along with a flash bang. Just now trying it on.
🔥
I just bought my first handgun. Finding a holster is a nightmare. I appreciate your back story and will definitely try this out. I have two concerns. The safe trigger guard and will it hold a shield with tlr-6 attachment?
For the trigger guard if not having a hard plastic trigger guard is a concern you can always get one of the MIC Kydex Trigger Guards. They work great when paired with our holster. As for your shield with TLR6 attachment it will fit but you will need to modify the band. We have another video on RUclips that will show you how to do it here... ruclips.net/video/B9blG4OxoCY/видео.html
Best,
Joe
I just ordered one and can't wait to receive it!
Yes I have been going nuts trying to find the right holster! Thinking this is the way to go!
I weigh 270 lbs I’m scared my gut won’t allow the holster to fit me properly. I have a 9mm Taurus so I hope it would fit my conceal as well if I was to order one.
We make this same band in an XL model that will fit a belly up to 54" in diameter. -Joe
G2C?
Definately worth it’s weight in solid gold. 🙌🏻
Just ordered 2 on the special deal. Kind of a no loss deal. We’ll see how they work out.
I'm about to get my conceal carry permit in my country pretty soon and I've seen so many videos about the different types of carrying and this seems like the most reasonable and safest way of carrying
Will defenetly buy one
I am left handed. I called your tech line and they told me it is universal. The snap strap is not universal, so the extra Velcro and snap just hang there and the extra clip slot I have to insert the clip from the bottom since one end of it is sewn shut. I’ll ask you once again. Do you have a left handed version.
Other than those 2 issues. Working great so far. Need to show demos on fat guys like myself.
Wow! Thank for puttin it out there. I can see a whole mess of usability here. Thank you!
Can you make it a thumb brake instead of finger break?
Half way through the video I ordered it bro good job
Interesting product. Please kindly advise where to purchase and how much. Thanks
Had one for three weeks now bought a trigger guard and I love it. Living in the desert I like to wear basketball shorts awesome product
Awesome. What kind of trigger guard did you buy and what make and model firearm are you carrying? -Joe
A um tactical trigger guard with a glock 19
Can I use this holster with a tuck in shirt ? I wear formal clothing all the time , and I am looking for a holster that I can carry while my shirt is tucked in .
I carry full size weapon everyday. Either is Smith & Wesson tactical 40 cal or the Sig Sauer 226 40 cal. I think you sold me can't wait to pick one up tomorrow
My story to the tee. Gave up carrying do to comfort. I want to start up again so I’m placing my order right now.
I have the belly band and ankle holster and love them both!
She did not only save me some money but also a head ache, after watching video reviews on the Urban carry it just did not look like the cup of tea I was hoping for
Well the infomercial got me, I just bought one because I have all the issues he talked about so I’m hoping it work. Thanks for the video.
Kirkland 007 Worth it??
Erick Barrera yes definitely worth it not perfect by any means but the best I’ve had so far.
Just ordered. I'll see how it compares to the plastic waist band carry.
I ordered one a few months ago. It's OK but I would love to see a version with suspenders built in - a back brace version.
Interesting! We will take your feedback into account when we launch some new products!
What about a pistol with optics? I have a Hellcat OSP
I'm a thin guy and have always had issues with printing, and comfort. I'm giving this a try.
Did it work out?
welp this belly band is amazing, thx for creating it!
-Joe
