This seems to be a very charming city, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

Definitely avoid the Guillotière quarter, especially after dark. Not safe.

      Hey Andy,
It depends on your field of study. In some fields like IT it's easy to get a job even if you don't speak the language. But in some other fields, it might be a little complicated. So it depends...

How much does apartment/studio ranges from .. roughly?

      350-500 euros

350-500 euros is cheap. if you want to be in the center of the city, 500-600 is more of a decent cost. there is a lot of student life, so studios can be more expensive than sharing a bigger flat. I leave most of my life in here in "colocation", shared bigger appartment. For now, I have a 90 square meter appartment with another person, and we pay 850euros, roughly 500 each when everything is paid.

Is French necessary to get job ??

Depends what's your sector, but I would say no in general, athough it is a requirement for the jobs where you're in relation with French clients. To put it differently, no if you're a software ingeneer, yes if you wanna work in a bakery.
