    This makes so much sense because shallots are so expensive here in Alabama..🥰thank you for posting 🥰

    Nice! So do you eat the green stalks you cut off? And if you do, do they taste like green onions (also known as scallions) ?

      Yes I did. The taste is similar with scallions. You should try it.

    Hi! I have a question; could you reuse the soil?

    • @EasyGardening
      @EasyGardening  3 года назад +6

      Of course we can reuse them. Just add organic fertilizer or compost to them

    Does this kind of shallot have flower? I’ve been searching for shallot or onion that gives flower that edible. The one that has bigger green part and flower on the top.

      This kind of shallot doesn't produce flowers during its lifespan. Maybe other kind of shallots do.

    How to store the shallot harvested ? How long can these harvested shallots be kept ?

    • @EasyGardening
      @EasyGardening  2 года назад +3

      Just wait for new leaves to grow. They need about 3 months from shallots to mature and ready harvested shallots.

    How often did you water ? Sorry if you addressed it in the video

      Once each two to three days is enough in my case. But you may do it daily if needed.

    Can I harvest scallion while waiting for the shallot to grow mature?

    • @EasyGardening
      @EasyGardening  Год назад

      Of course, but it will slow down maturity process of the shallots
