Sad News on You Tube . Hobo Shoestring has died 😔

- Woke up this morning to find Reccomend video's that someone I am.Subscribed to had passed away .
Edit : Apologies for saying Michael all the time , was very impulse video . I know he's Mark 🤣 . Happens when you don't make time to actualy plan ahead . You make mistakes on the scene
The famous American . Train Rider and interstate traveller Mark Nichols a.k.a Shoestring Hobo was found dead in Johnson City Tennesee not far from home at Lake Boone .
Looks like he was found several weeks ago .
Shoestring Hobo amassed a v large community and following on YT and was much Loved and even has his own store . shoestringarmy . com or the like .
Be had been suffering from health complications it seems but seemed to be being well look after by health services it seems .
His video's have now become a Legacy Gallery now it seems. I personaly loved him, his humour and the freedom and guts he showed at every moment . Soaring like and Eagle perched on a Freight car with his wings flapping in the rush .
Gonna miss you gov. I was always waiting for the next video . I guess they will never be another new video , and I hoped you wouldn't pass as I had this feeling and I wanted to see more and more .
But my worst fears as a watcher sadly had to go and Ruddy happen.
Rest in Peace Michael Nichols . Hope your Riding big flights in the sky with Jesus as your talking company in a much more comfortable , safer and less extreme environment like we have on the Living plane you just left behind .

Mark was a really good dude. We all were very lucky to experience his life.
NO WAY!!! I came across him about a year ago and really thought he was super cool and VERY knowledgeable! RIP brother!
I know gov . I realy enjoyed watching him and was always hyped for the next Hobo upload .
But he was living quite the adrenalin filled life and he had posted in community on YT and even said in Vids about his health issues and medication .
And personaly I hoped he would be fine and sods law I wake up one morning to find he'd passed 2 or 3 ago .
Absolutely gutting . He was a lovely fella that's for sure R.I.P Mark 😞
I've been watching shoestring for a few years or so and I so enjoyed his videos.
Rest in peace Shoestring. I will miss you bud.

What we feared the most .
All those that watched him saw him as not only nature and life hardened as well as funny and knowledgeable .
That's makes it even more so shocking within his You Tube community .
As so many held Mark in kind regard and hoped he would be safe .

I kind of hoped this WOULD'NT happen as I realy liked him , what he done was amazing . Taking everyone with him on a Journey in his video's
The stories and the roughing it outdoors . The charm was he was sharing it all to us Bare Bones .

He was a legend without a doubt. His body was found in Boone lake just across from his apartment in Johnson City Tn. No foul play was mentioned and there were no drugs or alcohol in his system. He may have been a little disoriented from a recent hospital visit a fell in possibly and simply drown, but really have not heard anything about the cause. I know he will be missed.

Definitely sad news. I followed him as well and didn’t know he’d passed until seeing your report.
Shoestring travelled through western Maryland frequently, never did get to see him though.
If you live in the US I am pretty sure the news has gone far and wide interstate of his passing . Even folks that never knew of him or heard of him may well know of Hobo Shoestring now .
And those that watched him thought of him as a Rail Riding celebrity and hoped they would spot him . Or maybe he did pass you and you never noticed .
He will be greatly missed . So many have showed their respects 🙏 it's truly incredible, and even Mark would be suprised right now watching from above .

Yes it was sad to find out he'd gone. He was certainly something different on YT . He was loved by so many and had lots if fans

Yes I even went through my head for over an hour to do this , yet I still cocked up on location and kept saying Michael instead of Mark .
But then I haven't been well for a while now and and am often confused .

Only a month late
Yes I am late it seems . I was like many , still waiting for the next upload . Then a video made it's way through recomendations me being in UK
Was hoping this day would never come 😔
#DJpuffthethird no disrespect but you're a little late with your posting of this video because most of us that followed shoestring knew that he'd passed away if not the day his body was found at least within two to two and a half weeks after he passed probably 90-95% of his followers knew about his passing and i figured everyone knew by now but either way bud most people already knew

I have had sympathetic posts to him , but there will always be moaners .
But it was done same day I found out so mistakes were made sadly
