So this is the first interview I have seen with Mandylor. As I suspected, his charisma isn't just something he turns on when filming. It is why I love his movies, he just oozes charisma. Even bad movies like that last Doom movie, he makes his scenes worth watching
The pairing of Scott Adkins and Louis Mandylor for the Debt Collector movies is a chemistry that comes along only once in awhile. These two play off each other so well. Comedic timing. Fraternity. Great action. Looking forward to more....

I spoke with Louis a few times on social media. He's a great guy. A true gentleman who deserves to be where he is. These guys are not just lethal fighting machines, but are so humble. Much respect. Thank you for another fantastic show, Scott Adkins.

The Debt Collector movies are honestly some of my personal favourite films, I'm not gonna try and argue they're Oscar-worthy stuff or anything but they are genuinely thoroughly enjoyable

Agreed. But at the same time I kind of like the B or C list underdogs. When you find little gems like the debt collector films, they shine for longer than Hollywood blockbusters.
Louis Mandylor is just a genuine person. I think that's why him and Scott get along so well. Very down to earth person and seems to be willing to do what it takes to make the scene great. I enjoyed this interview. From his background alone he deserves to be on the The Art of Action. That iron palm training is no joke. Best of luck for you Louis.
Louis Mandylor has a special signature both in his acting and fight choreography. He should have carved a niche for him long time ago . Again , as they say your stars have to be aligned. And I believe Louis’ this stint will propel him to the greatest height of his career . All the best to him and to Scott as always.

I was convinced this guy was Shin in "Fist of the North Star" turns out it was his brother. Loved this episode Scott, Louis is a badass, you're right he would definitely do awesome in Liam Neeson-esque type roles but with legitimate fighting skills that would make for great action sequences.
A truly underrated and under appreciated actor who turns out to be honestly humble and gracious.

Louis Mandalor was the OG tuff guy ..I didnt know he was Australian saw him on many movies and tv shows and he even knows how to box and some martial arts thats so cool Debt Collector 1 and 2 fight scenes are so raw the most fun to watch since Rush Hour, Lethal Weapon, Tango and Cash please keep em coming Scott and Louis are a great teamup..maybe as a cop buddy movie series.

The Debt Collector series is one of the best action comedy movies I've seen. I will watch the first 2 again and I would love to see Debt Collector 3 in the future.
This was one of my favourite interviews, you can see the Bromance shine through, hearing stories of how Scot is on set with his high standards is brilliant, The Debt Collector is a brilliant action movie with great comedy running through it, you can tell real friends by the way they are around each other.

Debt collectors is one of my favourite film list.
Got a lot of respect for these two guys, Scott deserves more credit for what he brings to the screen, and I believe in the future he will be seen and grow a lot more. I love Louis style, old school and new school mixed, and these two are genuine fighters which shows through in the acting world. So I hope they work together more and see their work and careers grow. Awesome guys 👍🏻.
Thanks for having Louis on the show. I’d never heard of him before Debt Collector and just loved his performance so much so that I looked him up in IMDB to see what else he’d done. He definitely deserves a LOT more attention. Keep up the great work Scott!

Just binge watched the Debt Collector films and Avengement. French and Sue are such great characters, a legendary team, as good as any mainstream Hollywood action pair. Would love to see a Debt Collector 3, or better yet a Debt Collector series - bet there are plenty of others who would too !

Scott, I think your podcast is very good and in-fact the greatest show produced on the subject of action cinema. It will end up being more important than your movies, simply because of its the only thing of its kind, its very completest, its almost the entire cannon.. Mandylor!! Just the name is awesome. He's a real working actor. Always liked the characters he created whenever I'd see movies he was in. Just found out he played "fake" Joey on the TV show Friends.
He has a good charisma. Louis was awesome with Sammo Hung in Martial Law (Le Flic de Shanghaï) in the free fighting episode. And he was nice during two episodes of Relic Hunter (Sydney Fox) : the difference of Tia Carrere's agile style and Louis Mandylor's tough style of fighting was fun.
This was a great episode! I learned so much about Louis and you can tell he is really passionate about his career. I love the chemistry between him and Scott. Another great interview from the beautiful Scott Adkins!

I loved The Debt Collector, like a few movies with Scott the action has such a raw and powerful feeling that is SO much fun for the viewer.
It’s like I know these are decent and disciplined gents but it looks actually dangerous.
I was a bouncer years ago but fortunately never came across highly trained men like you guys and your power and speed leaps off the screen. Friends would say “these are just movie guys, you could take them!” but I had no hesitation in saying “no way, these guys are scary!”

One of the best and most interesting interviews so far!!. Loved Martial Law, was different than all the of TV shows at the time. I'm a big fan of Sammo Hung. Louis was great in that along with Kelly Hu. Didn't realize Louis Mandylor had a martial arts back ground, looking back at the show now, they could've used his martial art abilities more. The Debt Collector movies are brilliant, loved the relationship between the 2 characters and the fight at the end of 2 was just awesome!!. All the hard work is appreciated!!. Hope you guys do a Debt Collector 3!!.

I think Louis is highly underrated. He seems to pop up in a lot of films I watch and kills it every time. I completely agree with Scott that he needs more action film roles. Maybe I am biased as my intro to him was Martial Law so seeing him return to that form with stuff like Debt Collector is great. Keep raging, Mr. Mandylor!

I have to say, when it comes to action movies, the debt collector movies are some of the best I have seen. the humor is just great and the fighting is not bad either. I have watched them more than a few times, to say the least. I am so looking forward for the next one, I hope you guys keep that humor, I know the action will be great too.

I've been slacking on catching up with Scott's movies, been a fan since Undisputed 2. Just finished both Debt Collector movies and they were awesome. Loved the dynamic and banter between Sue and French, too funny. Really hoping for another. Definitely love Scott's acting in these and hope to see more his acting side.
