Today Québec, tomorrow Hollywood! Man, you are getting good at this! Well done!
Ha! Glad to hear I'm improving!
Great place Quebec City!! Surprised you were able to fly your drone??
Thanks! I flew my mini 4 pro...so it was great for convenience and rules.
love Québec City! fun trip...
It was a wonderful trip!
A lovely video of your fun trip and adventure in Québec City including excellent aerial views. I have to admit that I have never been to Québec City. I enjoyed in full to the end. Thank you, my friend.
Thanks Dave! It was indeed a fun adventure!!
Wonderful views of an amazing city - you have found a great co-presenter - if the two of you can stop 'corpsing'.. How well the weather cooperated..
Joy and I had such a laugh doing the video bits! I had to look up 'corpsing'! Lol
I truly enjoyed your trip to this wonderful city. Loved the combination of drone and ground views as well as the short chats with the locals. It was so much fun to watch, especially the end. 😉 Great video production, Don. 🤘👌
Glad you enjoyed it, Michael! So much fun!
Thanks for sharing Don! Looks like you had a good time in Quebec and it looks like a nice town. Greetings and have a good weekend! // Bertil.
It was so much fun!
Quebec City is one of those must-visit destinations. Canada is blessed with so many jewels. Have you been to Newfoundland?
Thanks, F! It was a real treat to visit, and we had so much fun! I lived on PEI for 5 years as a kid, but have never been to NL.
Awesome Vlog. Is Don Joyce really Don and Joy? Keep up the great work :)
Ha ha! Joy is a wonderful new friend. We've been having a ton of fun together. ('Joyce' is my last name...just to add to the confusion!)
Don, allow me to apologize for not staying in contact with you more often. Your joy for life is so purely visible in your videos, it brings a smile to face every single time! Big-Time Congrats to you for your recent fun trips, exploring beautiful locations and building fond memories that last a lifetime. Yesterday I just returned from Malaga Spain!!! I took a direct flight from Dorval airport, a 7-8hr'ish flight. Malaga isn't just instagram pictures of tourist traps, the entire city is beautiful, safe, clean and very livable. When you have free-time, take an internet glance at: Malagueta Beach, Alcazaba Castle, Gibralfaro Castle, Centro Historico, Muelle Uno, Catedral Encarnacion de Malaga... I seen all those places without a car/rental/bus or taxi, I just walked from place to place exactly like I would as if I was in Quebec City!!!
Excursion Possibilities to: Caminito Del Rey, Nerja and more... Eat diner at a Chiringiuto, enjoy the Tapas. Malaga seriously cured my lifelong itch to see Italy, France, Greece, Ireland, UK and Netherlands. I will go back to Malaga and I'll keep going back because there are zero traffic jams and I don't need a car or taxi, the streets are clean and the historic landmarks very well maintained and not falling apart like some other places in Europe. Cheers Don, I consider you to be the #1best at everything you do!!!
Thank you! And thanks for sharing the travel suggestion!
went to Quebec trip with my daughter for a drum festival in 2014 all weekend it was pro drummers from around the world loved Old Quebec. and stopped in to Crysler's farm on the way. Thanks for bringing back the memories. see you at the ONTAR museum for Aquino.
Glad it brought back pleasant memories!
Love your cinephotography. They way you slowed down some scenes just at the right time. You're getting better at this! Beautiful city... Thank you.
Thanks, Richard!
My wife and I took the train from Toronto to Montreal where we boarded a Holland America cruise ship that took us to stops in Quebac City, PEI, Halifax and ended in Boston. I didn't have a drone at the time and would have loved to get these shots. Glad you had a great time.
Thank you!
It is so lovely watching you two enjoying life. The captured scenes around the city were excellent and fun to watch. Our friends from France plan to visit us next year - trips to Montreal and Quebec City are on their list. //Tom
Thank you, Tom! We had such a fun trip...I'm glad some of that came through!
It's great seeing you both visiting Quebec City, Don. Thank you for your great contribution to the Canadian Recreational RPAS community and for sharing your superb trip views.
Thanks! It was a wonderful trip, and a great opportunity to film both from the ground and air.
Great views! Don...happy for ya brother...
Thank you, Al!
Oh fun trip. Especially by train at 150 Km/hr!. When I was in the arm forces, they once sent by train via Saint John, New Brunswick to Kingston, Ontario. It was an over night trip to Montreal, so we had a first class stage coach, and back in those days the train travelled through Maine, USA where the line twist and winds through the Appalachian Mountains. Listening to the sounds of iron wheels on iron rail clashing through the night and feeling the train banking on the turns, had a luring sense and feeling as though travelling into some unknown place of origin. And then in early morning arriving at the Gare Centrale de Montréal (Montreal Central Station ), was like landing at the King's Cross Station from Harry Potter...Majestic and Grande! Then we transferred onto another train bound for Toronto and it was fascinating to see the endless crop fields one after another with articulated tree lines which I presumed marked the land boundaries between fields. It was a trip I'll never forget. Something romantic about taking a train on a long voyage. BTW. I love the drone shots of Ville de Quebec. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing your story! Yes, for us, the train ride was a fun part of the holiday!
My beautiful hometown. Hope you guys liked it. Thanks for sharing
Your city is beautiful...and we had a lot of fun there!
Beautiful place, been there twice👍👍👍thanks for sharing. You didn’t go to Montmorency falls?
Thanks...yes it was beautiful and fun! We had a short timeframe, and went by train, so no visit to the falls this time.
Quebec City is absolutely gorgeous. We went in the winter of 2020. Enjoy and be safe!😊
Thanks!
Nice to meet you, Joy! You guys looked like you had a lot of fun and lots of giggles!!! And the sun was out! Quebec is a very nice city.
We had a great time in Quebec City! And a LOT of giggles! Thanks for watching, Judith!
Looks like a Dandy trip! Really love the architecture in Quebec City.
It was!
Beautiful video!!!! The drone shots were excellent. I've only been there once and didn't spend much time in the city itself.
Thanks, Gerry!
The cityscape is very beautiful and the historic buildings are also very fashionable🤩
Thank you.
We love the Old Quebec City> Do you need to have a special permission to fly a drone
Thank you! As long as you are following the Transport Canada regulations, you don't need 'special permission'. In my case, I was flying a Mini 4 Pro, which is less than 250g. BTW, the Citadel was a no-drone-zone, at least for taking off and landing.
Greetings from Quebec City! Am very glad to see you enjoyed your stay :)
Thank you! It was great!
Great video and a fun trip. Such a wonderful city
Thanks, Gina! It was a fun trip!
So nice to visit Quebec, especially with such good weather - you were lucky! - but I didn't know there was a high speed train going there!
Thanks, Greg! The weather was absolutely perfect! The train speed was quite a surprise to me as well...but it was only for a short stretch. Most of the time it seemed to be running around 80-100 km/h (based on watching cars on adjacent highways....that display was only on the Montreal to Quebec stretch), and we made a half-dozen or so short stops along the way. The train ride was certainly part of the fun! Better than driving!
@@DonJoyce Thanks for the info. I'll check out using the train next time.
Awesome TY for sharing!
Thanks, Bob! We had a great time!
Great to see the love... great video too ... rock on!
Thanks R! Having a lot of fun!
So glad you had such a great time
Thanks, Barb! It was a great mini holiday!
Have fun in Québec!!!
We did!
Full movie 6:19👍👍👍
Thanks!
very nice…
Thanks, Carlos!
Don, so happy for you!!!. I'll be honest, I thought you were going to break out to Johnny Cash's "I hear that train a coming, it's rollin' round the bend"... ❤🤡
Yeah...I had to edit out the singing.... Thanks for watching, Jim!
