I had the same reaction as Liam Neeson the first time I ever laid eyes on the woman who would become my wife. She was out on the balcony at a party and I went out there to get some air. She turned around and my jaw hit the floor, I've never seen a more beautiful woman in my life. Instantly smitten. Not so her though. She'd just left a relationship and wasn't interested in pursuing another right then. But we became friends. Three months later we started dating, two years later we were married and have been married for 46 years now. And I still think she's the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on.
Hugh Grant & Emma Thompson have an UNBELIEVABLE CHEMISTRY. They could be in the worst movie ever made & it would be nominated for every award...they are just charming, naturally funny, striking people.

I love this movie. Every Christmas and definitely during Covid. I love this movie because it does a thing that’s my favorite. It is sends out tendrils of a story line that weave around into all kinds 0f places and then at the end it comes all together in a perfect story. My favorite part of the movie was the Colin Firth and the Polish girl but every one was just perfect.
I absolutely love love love this film!! One of me absolute favourites!! 🥰🥰 It’s brilliant!! I have seen it so many times and yet it still makes me cry!!
When Emma Thompson 's Karen discovers that her husband (the equally phenomenal and greatly missed Alan Rickman) has betrayed her... WOW!! One of the best "breaking heart" scenes ever filmed!!
We bought the DVD and we watch it at least 2 or 3 times a year. And not just at Christmas. Love it all so much but I have to replay the dance scene several times during each viewing. Much ❤ to the entire cast!
My favorite is the beginning….”Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere.” ♥️✨♥️✨
Have just by coincidence, seen last night in Helsinki the 'Love Actually in Concert' show, which is a must see for all of you 'Love Actually' lovers out there. It consists of a 'film showing' (like in a cinema) behind a live full orchestra playing all the music and songs throughout the movie.
Eat Dinner, watch Love Actually, go to church. Perfect Christmas for many years and our sons still doing it with us. Fröhlichr Weihnacht und ein glückliches Neues Jahr
I was the same. I was on a flight home from Cape Town and it was the only film on for a while. I thought “ this is a romcom, it’s got Hugh Grant in it…I am going to hate this, “ yet I loved it and found a lot of things in it I could relate to. There have been christmases over the years where my life has actually resembled scenes from the film.
The movie was extremely well written and directed . A superb cast doesn't make this kind of suberb movie all alone. A couple of years later. Hollywood tried twice to cash in on the interweaving of relationships, love and loss. One of the movies had all A-listers in it including Julia Roberts. Both movies tanked. The cast were talented actors but the writing was muddled and there was no soul to the scripts. Even one of the best actors, Marlon Brando, tanked with several movies bec he couldn't recognize an inferior script. Particularly in " One- eyed Jacks". "Love, Actually" was a miraculous combo of script, director and superb casting.❤❤
I know that in the movie there’s the part that says, “love, actually, is all around” - but I always think the origin of the name is people asking Richard Curtis what he was working on, and he’d say, “a new movie”, “ah, what’s it about?” … “love, actually”
I'm gonna have to watch this film again. I barely remember it, just bus and pieces. Not true, I only remember there was a scene with flash cards, nothing beyond that lol. I haven't seen it since it was released. When was that?
Oh come on, who cares about the numbers? Look at how lovely and fondly they speak about and behave towards each other. No matter that the relationship did not last, it seems to have been based on true love. That is what matters, right?❣️😌
This movie is mostly sweet & touching. My one question for the director/ writers is why did both of the older females in the cast end up with non romantic, rather sad endings 😢
"he was so grumpy all of the time". Such a classically British way to start a conversation 😂 love it 😂
I met Bill Nighy at work in 2015. I got his autograph for my mum & he signed it "With actual love Bill" He was awesome👍
Future Academy Award Nominee Bill Nighy. That's awesome.

No doubt you were meant for each other. What a beautiful love story. All the best. ❤
Oh woow. Nice.
That is so amazing 😍
Love Love Actually and I always cry at the Colin Firth scene near the end when he proposes.

Couldn’t imagine a bad film with those in
I sure believe that
I agree.
I'll always love the Liam Neeson story no matter how many times I hear it.
yes - I came here to comment about the story - I'd never heard it before, but yes, so lovely 🥰
Same
To be honest - i'd have the same reaction for today's Hellen Mirren
I use Liam's story to define love (physical attraction) at first sight
Timeless! 😂 ❤👏🏻
Liam Neeson is just one of those actors you just never get tired of watching. A class act.
I completely agree..a real class act
been making Love Actually a yearly x-mas movie tradition for several years now.
can't wait to watch it again 😊
Best writing, best acting, actors, soundtrack, movie!!!
Just a wonderful classic👍😊✌️
"We were an item", I've never heard that expression but I love it already

@@charmingjinx9379 I found it more than enough. I hated this movie!
Excalibur or Love Actually?

This is hands down my favorite Christmas Movie.
Love Actually is such a feel Good Movie with such a great cast. Great group of Actors with a caustic sense of humor, that the British have.
I watch Love Actually EVERY CHRISTMAS 🎄
Laura Linney is so warm and insanely charismatic.
My friend watched Love Actually so many times I lost track of how many times he saw it 💗

We watch it every year. So disappointed it’s not on Netflix this year.

I'm watching now lol. A Christmas must.
Liam never told Helen. Great time to tell her. Love the story.

It's the best movie of all time. There is so many moving parts.

Nina’s GREAT in Last Tango in Halifax
3:43 Nina reminds me of the actress Amanda Plummer ..her speaking voice and mannerisms
8:10 He has told this story a million times and its always funny.
What an amazing film. There are so many different personal relationships that are so endearing. Keira stole the show for me.
The movie itself is lets say adequate at best, but the cast is insane. They were firing on all six cylinders budget wise.
Right.. I love the last part of your comment. Do u talk like that irl?

Ha!! So many people have called Hugh “grumpy” there has to be something to it! 😂😂
Helen Mirren is gorgeous. She can make any person instantly fall for her.
she´s aged so well!
The film that answers the question, "Was there more than one lobster present at the birth of jesus?"
That one line and Liam Neeson stole the show.
