Of course it is. Battlefield 1 was made before the plagues of modern gaming. No battle passes, no FOMO, no micro transactions (besides battlepacks, which were cosmetic only and could be earned easily in-game). Not only that, but it was made by a passionate team that cared about the game rather than driven by corporate higher ups chasing money through brand recognition and shitty modern practices previously mentioned. Battlefield 1 is simply fun, immersive, and exciting.
